Udon Kisin

After a full day at Disney, having a bowl of hot udon here in the evening was super comforting. The tempura chicken was juicy, light, and flavorful without being heavy. It is a must try. And You can really tell the udon is handmade from the texture. The staff were also very kind and welcoming. I would definitely come back again on my next trip to Paris.

Overall a satisfying meal, wait time was little to none (a weekday afternoon near closing time, 2pm). We were really excited to try this place due to finding it from the michelin guide, and as we were in the area, we couldn’t resist. The place was nicely packed, but service was still quick and polite. Sadly when we went, the sushi rice had run out, leaving the salad as the only side option 😢 The udon noodles had a really good texture, served in a warm hearty broth. But personally, none of the dishes we ordered blew us away. It lacked a flavor profile that felt unique. We did go in with extremely high expectations though. In totality, we are glad we finally tried it, but would maybe try new places rather than returning.

This shop is small but it’s amazing! Since the restaurant is small it requires a reservation, but we got lucky and got a spot without a reservation. If you are looking to get appetizers i’d recommend to stay away from the tofu. It was much too sweet for our taste. But otherwise everything else was delicious! We got them the boeuf and it was amazing! The combo of udon and beef was just right and made the broth much more flavorful. But the star of the show was their desserts. The black sesame and matcha mochis were so amazing! They were both very flavorful and delicious. If your are a fan of Japanese food, this is definitely a place to put on your to-do list!

We were the only Americans! You must make a reservation via telephone, even for lunch. The restaurant is small! We had several starters. The most filling udon was the beef, it felt like it had a whole cow. The tempura udon was also quite large!

Good food, but failed my expectations as a michellin guide. Avocados were good!!

The udon noodles are very authentic and amazing , however the broth and the pork compared to the quality of the udon is a bit lower which is a shame. The mochis are very nice and handmade I believe. Overall a very delicious place to enjoy some authentic Japanese udon but don’t expect it to be perfect

Small and cosy Japanese udon place, the udon was excellent but portion was slightly small. Overall, it’s worth the try! It gets filled up very quickly during dining hours so better get a reservation in advance.

You’d better make a reservation; we were lucky that someone had canceled. The texture of the udon was really nice, but the broth was a bit bland for my taste.
