I headed here right after an extra-early gym session, since they open at dawn.
Arrived about 15 minutes before opening, and—being a weekday—no line yet.
Managed to snag pole position. By the time the door opened, around five people were lined up already.
Inside, it’s a compact standing-only space.
Tempura bits and green onions are self-serve.
This time I ordered:
◆ Kake Udon ¥600
◆ Octopus Tempura ¥120
You can choose the temperature of the udon: hot, lukewarm, or cold.
Many Sanuki udon shops recommend lukewarm to best enjoy the noodles, so I went with that.
The noodles were beautifully soft-chewy, almost clinging to the tongue in a pleasant way.
The broth was gentle but full of depth—clean, comforting, and quietly delicious.
One of those bowls you feel like you could eat several times over.
A high-quality morning udon to start the day right.
