UKIYO Coffee

A wonderful, warm and friendly cafe that reminded us of small cafes in Japan. Delicious bagels and cakes and fantastic flat whites. Everything is prepared and served with such care and grace. Highly recommend. Thank you to the lovely staff.

This is literally almost my fave fave cafe in Mainz. They have so many options when it comes to coffee! I seem to cant find this many options anywhere in Mainz. I visited it like often just to try all the coffee flavours and I'd say I love all the flavours thus far. I've tried blueberry latte, biscof latte, and ubbe latte and normal lattes. All were fantastic to me. I like their bagels as well, even the simple cream one! I loved the biscof basked cheese cake. I ate it last time! It was just so delicious. I always come here to write and study. Lovely place.

Good black sesame and ube lattes, but nothing outstanding compared to what you can get in the US. Nice staff that is friendly and patient with English speakers. Small amount of indoor seating and food is available too.

Excellent bumblee “Orange and Espresso” Drink! I actually came here for the Matcha Latte until I checked out the Menu and was impressed by the bumblebee drink. I wasn’t sure what it’d taste like as I had no type of taste buds for this combination. Luckily my friend had this taste before in Asia and told me that it’s very refreshing. Her statement made me want to try this drink and I can say that I’m highly impressed and super glad that I ordered this drink! This drink has a tangy, fruity and refreshing taste and not only is it super delicious but also healthy as it comes with vitamin c and antioxidants. Best combo ever! Never drinking a normal coffee anymore 😂! I also had an Avocado Bagel and I love the crisp of the Bagel. It was very good. I like the small atmosphere, I came in the morning and sitting there with a good drink and food is an amazing way to start your day but also a nice spot to clock out mentally after a long day of work ! I will def come back more often! Take my money!! 😂😂

Easily one of the very best coffee shops in the area, and the owner and staff are all very nice!

Their ube latte is Not good. It has coffee in it and has no taste of ube, no sweetness, just the purple colour. Perhaps I will go again to try another drink/a dessert and update my review later.

The coffee tastes nice but it’s indeed a bit expensive. Like 5+ euro for a smaller portion compared to other cafés’ which is about 4+ euro. It’s crowded, the seats are limited. The staffs are kind. Good location, only 4-min walk from the train station.
