We had a great stay. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. It was only a short walk to the most amazing views, beaches, shopping, and dining. Everything was very clean and breakfast was amazing. So many choices. Also, we had a great time with the excursion to Pompeii that the hotel offered. I would definitely stay there again.

Had an amazing stay last spring with my family! Rooms were huge! Our triple had separate twin beds with plenty of space & equally spacious en suite bathroom. The delux had a terrace! The real gem here is the customer service. With the front desk staff (Chiara, Giuseppe, Maria & Francesca), I booked a discounted Amalfi coast van tour, lactose free milk for my morning Cappuccinos at the in house coffee bar, transport from Naples train station direct to the hotel & a late night restaurant reservation upon arrival. Breakfast was huge with a variety of juices, cereal, bread, pastry & egg dish choices. Booking here made me look so impressive to my fam! We walked to the beach, city center, train station & took public transit. Will stay here again & highly recommended it.

This is a hotel- not a hostel. Basic marble hotel slightly old school but clean and quiet- we had room at end of a corridor. Dark rooms with not enough lighting at night but perfectly functional. Comfy beds with 2 flat pillows and blankets. High tub edges with grab bars they gave us bath mat - very slippery. Fridge cuts off when you leave the room. Fyi if you have medication that requires refrigeration. No in room coffee or water. No chairs in room other than desk chair. Lovely porch/ mini deck with lounge chair and small table and 2 chairs next to olive tree. Very cute and shutters that close and keep room dark and quieter although our room was fairly quiet except when people were talking in hallway- everything echos because of marble floors. Chairs scraping and doors closing in room above us was annoying again marble floors make noise reverberate. occasional motorcycle going up road and ambulance as were near a hospital. 2 pillows were flat- asked for 3rd as no chair except desk chair to lounge on in room. Fruit market next door was nice.no water or in room coffee maker or even water in lobby. Shortcut across street goes to harbor and down medieval historic district to a great shopping area, full service laundry, inlaid wood museum, etc. Basic breakfast- no Decaf unless you ask. Lots of sweets but did have scrambled eggs and roasted veggies ham, cheese, etc. Pretty good croissants. Good cereals, yogurt. This hotel is about 17 minute walk from train station. You’ll be walking alot. Center of town is about 10 min. Taxis are 30 euro- highway robbery for 10 min. short trip and he wouldn’t tun the meter and demanded cash or wouldn’t take us. Was very disappointed when i got there and found this out. Later front desk Saud if they call a taxi it's 20 -25 euro to train station if they call one for you

We had a great stay. Great location nearby to the city center and about 15 min walk to the train station and the port. Good value proposition, especially compared to other places in the area. A big thank you to Giuseppe at the reception, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities that really made our trip special. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located on the opposite side of the beach. It away from the ferry and the only way to arrive to the hotel is taking a taxi. The taxi ride goes from 25-30 euros if you carry a bag.|If one needs to walk to the hotel, it will take you 20-40 minutes to get there. Be aware that you will need to pay 2,50 euros to get on the elevator to the top the path that will lead you to the hotel. If you will prefer to walk to the top be ready to clip up a very high castle that will take to center of the plaza. Then, you will have to walk about 10 more minutes to get to the hotel.|The hotel is very close to everything (a great advantage when walking around nighttime).|I don't advice anybody to request a room with a view because there not any. I did make that mistake and paid for something it did not exist. I spoke to one male receptionist and the person made remarks that I did not like.|Female receptionists are very polite and very helpful and will give instructions on how to move around the area.|Breakfast was ok, it is the famous continental meal that you will find in any hotel. Coffee machines are good, and you will be able to have as many cups of coffee as you like. There are water and mineral water and juices.|My room was not too happy with my room because I had to call for maintenance to fix the toilet flush because it was broken but it was partially fixed. It also had mold in the bathroom which was fixed when I called for maintenance.|Unfortunately, these two main issues don't make this hotel a good choice in my opinion.

Excellent location. Quiet but close to town. About a 20 minute walk to the train station with bags. 10-minute walk to the only beach in town and a couple of great, reasonably priced restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. Breakfast ok. Also very clean, simple, and spacious rooms. Overall a great value. Absolute best thing about the place was the great customer service. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Yelp
THE RECEPTIONIST CHRISTIAN ATTEMPTED TO RECORD ME SEXUALLY WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE DURING MY STAY!!!! I booked a 2-night stay here and had an extremely disturbing and traumatic experience. After checking in and exiting the hostel to get dinner, I was approached by a staff member, Christian, who initially engaged in friendly conversation but quickly made inappropriate and invasive remarks, such as asking if I use Grindr, if I "like Italian men," and if I'm gay. Despite feeling uncomfortable, I felt pressured to respond. Later, he invited me to a club in Sorrento, which I reluctantly agreed to. While at the club, he violated my privacy by entering the restroom uninvited and took me to his apartment while I was blacking out. It was at this point that he took advantage of me and attempted to record intimate moments without my consent. I demanded he delete the footage and ultimately had to involve the police. For my safety, I was forced to leave the hostel and book an emergency stay at a nearby hotel, incurring additional expenses. I was also appalled when I reported this incident to the management, including the general manager, they showed no empathy and refused to provide any assistance or even a refund and have the audacity to tell me to talk to him directly.. I'm appalled by their lack of accountability and unwillingness to address such a serious situation. This hostel is unsafe, and poorly run. Avoid it

Yelp
My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the Ulisse Deluxe Hostel during our honeymoon in Italy. The hotel staff were incredibly professional, helpful, and accommodating. Since we booked online in advance we weren't sure what to expect, but we were very happy with the location and quality of the hotel. We stayed in an upgraded room with two queen beds and a view of the cliffs. The hotel is at street level and the parking garage is on top, so there are no rooms with a view of the sea but the cliffside is quite nice. After staying in Rome where the hotel rooms are quite tiny, we were amazed with how spacious the bedroom and bathroom area were! The housekeeping staff were quite thorough: even our pillow cases were changed daily and replaced with a freshly ironed one. The breakfast spread was quite impressive and offered something for everyone: eggs, assorted fresh pastries, slices of meats and cheeses, bread rolls and croissants, yogurt and muesli, and fresh fruit. The fresh juice dispensers offered interesting flavors: blood orange, strawberry, and others. They also offered still or sparkling bottled water for travelers that are not accustomed to the water in Italy (usually tap water is to be avoided to prevent getting sick). The location is great - just a short 10-15 minute walk from the train station and you pass through the quaint downtown area on your way. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The front desk made some fantastic recommendations and helped make reservations for us. All in all, this is a great hotel for the price and much, much more than you would expect with "hostel" in the name. Sure, it's not a Kimpton Hotel or traditional 5-star hotel, but this is a great hotel for travelers looking for an affordable hotel in Sorrento.

Yelp
This was the last hotel we stayed in after our 2 week trip through Italy. This is a well priced hotel for the city and area. I liked how walkable the distance was from the main area. I can tell why our tour guides booked this hotel. The rooms are huge and the ac works excellent. The shower head is poorly designed. My roommate and I couldn't get it to stay and got water everywhere! The breakfast was sufficient and staff were kind. The staff overall were nice and made good recommendations. The only thing is we tried to ask about getting a boat to capri and they kept trying to sell us on a full day tour. They said it was too "hard" for us to find the way and since it was hard to find we would end up spending more money if we went out alone. I understand that they are trying to help but we also felt like the tour companies sponsored them. This is a hotel where you get what you pay for. You have to put a 5 euro deposit for an extra key and all their "amenities" are not part of the hotel. It's just companies that work with the hotel and you have to pay 10 euros to use the partner pool.

Yelp
This was our last hotel after two weeks of traveling and it was such a nice place to stay. Very affordable. I only wish they had free breakfast I think it was a few euros actually. The service was very friendly and helpful and booked a shuttle for us to the airport.
