A young cashier was chatting with her friend at the Mac counter while myself and another lady were waiting at the register, no one was at the register - when young lady came back to the cash drawer, she checked out the woman in front of me, then let her friend cut in front of me. I got upset, I work retail too and I would never be so inconsiderate, they were literally wasting my lunch break. The young lady cashier and I had some terse words, she did not feel I had a right to be upset . She said that her friend had left product at the counter and therefore had saved her place in line. Ok, why didn’t your friend go in front of the lady in front of me, if she had saved her place with product on the counter? It made no sense. I think I’m a good Ulta customer, I’m a Ulta credit card holder and moisturizer addict. I called the manager. The manager, Destiny, understood where I was coming from and assured me she would address the issue. It means a lot today that a manager will take the time to take a customer complaint and smooth things over. Destiny taking my call, retained me as a customer, tho next time I will place an item on the counter to save my place in line as soon as I walk in the door. 😊
