Ulta never disappoints and client is always welcomed upon entering the store. The isles are quite wide and everything in good order and store is always well stocked. Perfumes are expensive I buy mine from duty free or other stores since I find them 20 to 40 percent less. I typically shop when items are on a special sale and if you belong to their programs you will receive good coupons. All in all quite a pleasant place to visit.

Was able to find what I needed quickly. Staff member was pleasant at check out. Why is it that the Ulta staff never ask the customer if they would like to check and use their reward points? Customers have to always ask first before Ulta staff members will check it. This is true at all the Ulta's I've been to.

I rarely shop in store, online is more convenient for me. I needed to exchange a hairbrush, ordered wrong size. The exchange was very simple. While I was walking around, a young lady asked if I needed any help. She was very helpful and I really like her recommendation. I didn't know they have translucent loose powder which is great because I don't have to match my skin color that changes in the sun being in the sun so much hiking and exploring places with my pups. She also introduced some facial oil brands and products that I wasn't aware of. I'm really glad that I stopped by. All the Ulta stores I have shopped in always feel so nice, and feel and smell so clean.

Google
I recommend knowing some specific brands that focus on your skin and hair type. The store has so much in it that you can become over whelmed and just not know what to purchase. Do you research 1st, then go in confidently

Wish I could give zero stars. As the other review mentioned, the manager here is super rude and arrogant. She acted a bit racist towards me and was all smiling and acting nice with other customers probably because they’re white. This is not the kind of experience you would want to expect. Everyone who comes to the store is spending their money be it white or other races

I have come to the conclusion that Ulta mixes products to sell. I bought a glycolic acid from the ordinary brand recently and I have used this product before. It is NOT the same, it smells like nothing and the color is much lighter than is used to be. (Also the price has almost doubled) It also wasn't sealed, anyone could have poured it out and diluted it with water. This is the second time I bought something from Ulta and received inferior quality. I will no longer be supporting them. People be ware.

I want to give the extremely postive review to Farah the manager there. She is always positive, willing to help resolve any issue, and goes above and beyond for her customers!! I will always shop at this location because of the customer service experience I recieve, thanks Farah !!

Google
The rating is been edited as the service has been revised and met my expectations.. I’m glad that the Ulta took my comment or review seriously and called back to either fix or refund my money. I chose to fix it as I really needed one and desperately looking for good artist for my hair. Went in for a appointment and the Manager Jennifer assured it will be fixed by Chris. Chris has the positive vibe on my hair, heard what I was looking for and exactly worked onto the tones needed. That was amazing, smooth work and just so well done! I’m so glad I gave Ulta a chance and now I have an artist in town. Thank you Chris for working your magic onto my hair and making me pretty! **Attached new pics** ****** Old review below**** ****Only for people to know that their customer service is good**** Wish I could rate the lady better. I’ve used the salon service for highlights. The lady Emire, was really humble and did talk so well explaining on how the hair color lift works on dark hair. I did show her picture and asked her to work nearly to it (caramel) but looks like that went wrong. Pros: Highlights are good. Uniform work Attentive and humble staff Cons: Result achieved is not any near to caramel It’s mostly Ash Brassy 😖 I did pay good amount for service and this turned out to be nightmare of unmatched color for my skin tone. I just want to get rid of this color! Expectation vs Reality pics attached!

Yelp
Great experience today with Stephanie, Nicole and Dani! Very helpful and informative. Enjoyed working with them!! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
For the first time, in a very long time, I was greeted when I first walked in. I was then asked if I needed help finding anything. This is a very good start for this Ulta location but they a long way to go. They always have all the skincare products I need which is good.

Yelp
I had a very positive experience yesterday with Ramisha at the Ulta Beauty in Sterling, VA. I needed basic makeup items after not wearing much makeup for years. Ramisha took the time to find and recommend the best items for my complexion and patiently answered my questions about each item. She is very knowledgeable about makeup and really seemed to care about finding the right makeup for me. Susana was also there that day and she, too, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great experience today. Thank you, ladies!

Reem A.

Yelp
A worker wouldn't honor the sale tag price of an item because it was mislabeled on the shelf (the sticker was supposed to be placed on the next item over) . She said "sorry since I'm not a manager I can't adjust it for you" and wouldn't call a manager for me. Super unhelpful and this experience made me never want to return to this location.

Yelp
Went in for some Christmas shopping and was not sure where to begin. Fortunately Blanca popped up, ready to assist. I need cologne for a young man in the family and she provided me with several samples and offered her suggestions. Five minute later, I had my decision, bought Mont Blanc Legend Spirit, and was on my way. Now that's the way I like to shop !

Yelp
I asked one of the sales associates if she could help me, but she rudely replied that she was a face specialist so she couldn't be bothered by my query. Mind you, she was not with anyone, and she was not happy being asked because she was busy reading labels of items not related to the area she was claiming she was assigned. If only I didn't need the things I was buying, I would rush out of the store and shop elsewhere. Anyway, the cashier was pleasant enough to help and walked with me all the way to the back of the store to help clarify my queries.

Yelp
Worst pickup experience since the start of COVID. I mean even Best Buy didn't have that strict pickup policy when I picked up expensive electronics. Store thinks that folks are just driving around and spamming ulta store to pickup cheap make up items. Worst customer service and pickup policy. One thing is to have policy that makes sense and it's whole different thing when you make policy or quote policy to customer to make their life miserable. Not to mention how offensive it is. Listen to your customer next time and work with them. In this market, it doesn't take long for franchise or big retail store to go out of business and close doors for good. You are in business of customer service and if you lose that piece, sooner or later this store will close. I will be taking my business to Sephora so I don't have to deal with this store management or ridiculous policies.

Yelp
I travel and while traveling my skin does crazy things in different environments, so off to Ulta I go for help. From the moment I entered this store, everyone was nice and welcoming! Maria helped me with skin education and products, Stephanie got my eyebrows back into shape and Natalie checked me out and showed me different ways to save even more! What a wonderful day with wonderful people who took the time to help me out. Thank you All!!!
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Went in today to pick up a foundation I ordered online and was helped by Natalie. She was absolutely fantastic and made sure my shade was correct and answered all of my question. 10/10 experience! thank you Natalie did I end up buying more? Yes most certainly did but I don't think I have ever went into Ulta for one thing and only gotten one thing haha

Yelp
Terrible customer service, I had a scheduled appointment with the salon that the stylist pushed to a later time as she was running late. Then when I showed up I was rudely told they don't have time for my appointment...what's the point of scheduling appointments if they 'don't have time' for them???? Very rude.

Yelp
Made an appt for a hairstyle for a wedding. The girl just curling ironed my hair and overcharged me about $100 when all she did was curling iron my hair which I could have done myself and put some clips. It was not an updo and yet I was charged for an updo. Overpriced and the work wasn't even good.

Yelp
10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Horrible customer service. An alarm went off on one of the perfumes I grabbed so I was walking around trying to get one of the workers to help me but I was blatantly getting ignored. The guy worker with blonde hair, I didn't catch his name, rudely snatched it out of my hand and didn't even bother giving it back to me after he stopped the alarm. Not one worker helped me after that.

Yelp
Order #K146677175- Absolutely horrible. My box was beaten and frail. All the items were loosely banged around. Appears they've been on a rough ride, all day, in the heat. Not to mention MISSING my leather bag. Which clearly, by the packaging, they never had any intentions of sending my bag, in the first place. Even though my receipt shows it in the box- whoever packed it, knew it was not in there. ORDER # K146677175- Which now Alta doesn't feel they need to send it out to me, because it was "a gift to begin with" Per the customer service rep. While it was a gift that I had to spend $75 in order to not be charged $75 for the bag!! Hence why I then added the heat protect. But that's irrelevant. So it's quite comical that Ulta is like- "yeah, too bad too sad". Even though your receipt shows we sent you your bag, and we OBVIOUSLY did not send it-(per the photos of how your items were packaged). Ulta can't just send me another bag??? Because their "system" won't allow them to..... then The customer service rep. proceeds to say......UNLESS, you want to spend another $75.00??? Then I will get that bag sent out to you. Oh- I forgot to mention- This offer is still being presented to anyone shopping at Ulta.com! SHOPPERS BEWARE- it's a scam! Because I was clearly in shock by the sheer audacity- I asked again- So just to be clear- your system will allow you to lie and say you sent a bag to a paying customer, but it won't allow you to actually make it right and send the bag?!! Unless I spend another $75.00?? She said- yeah! So is that Ulta's game??? Only interest is getting people to spend more money? So what if Ulta has to make promises they have ZERO INTENTIONS OF KEEPING? Or should we look at any employee's just helping themselves to the bags and telling the customers that they don't have any? Remember it's only while supplies last......and sometimes that's upon the offering of this gift. The representative I spoke to at the Sterling (Dulles 28) location, informed me that that specific location NEVER had any of the bags. They never received any. When at ULTA.COM it states that they did have some. Limited- but they did have some of both styles. When Mary Dillon received the powerful/strong Woman Award- I'm sure it wasn't intending for Ulta associates to interpret that as to deliver acts of strong arming all of your hardworking ladies, to spend their hard earned money, for gifts they will never receive- AND TO NEVER PROVIDE ANY accountability on Ulta's part, for this! And when I say there is NO ONE with any accountability for quality assurance-I mean NO ONE! As I was sent on a whirlwind back and forth. Everyone in the stores has told me, "that's on the warehouse we don't have anything to do with it." Yet their warehouse reps, told me to return such items to the store- And if the store still had any bags they could give me mine, that I never got! But again- the system won't allow them to... (you know the "blame something that can't prove you're a liar" trick.) So these two separate yet do the same job for the same company, entities, must have ways of communicating to each other. Just nobody wanted to. Because it's not their problem- it's my problem- So I'm the one that ends up with nothing.

Yelp
Everyone was so helpful! I was trying to pick out the right concealer and eyeliner. At least two or three people offered to help me and they were all friendly. I was even shown a smaller cheaper option for concealers so I could buy two and figure out the right color at home. The store is extremely neat, clean, and well-stocked. What more can I ask for?

J S.

Yelp
One of the staff members helped me find exactly what I was looking for. However, when I went to check out, I had to wait for awhile because the cashier couldn't be bothered to stop text messaging on her phone long enough to do her job.

Matthew W.

Yelp
As a guy, I was nervous walking into Ulta by myself because I knew what end result I wanted but no clue what product(s) I needed. Smaller pores and more even toned skin. Katy did an expert job getting me set up and most of all she made me feel confident and comfortable.

Sarah N.

Yelp
There is a person who works here, seems she's the manager or so... she's extremely rude and unpleasant. I will never go back here. She gives everyone a hard time.

Alexis O.

Yelp
Shout out to the GM of this location. She let me in on Christmas Eve to buy my fiancé's Christmas present, even though the store was technically closed. Excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help me out at the last minute and ensure we had a wonderful holiday!

Yelp
This review is for the Ulta that just opened up in Dulles landing. It's more South riding that it is sterling so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't reviewing the wrong store. I gave it 2 stars because I haven't been to Ulta in a few years as I found that they didn't really carry high-quality makeup. Some of their stuff under the Ulta brand was cheap and low quality. Not something I would use again. So I ran in looking for some hair products that I had run out of and boy what a difference a couple of years makes. They have maybe 50% more brands than they had last time I was there and really high-quality make-up and styling products. I ended up spending much more than I wanted to. I did not give more stars because the service was really dreadful. I was one of two customers in the store and they were snooty. I asked one girl if they had any more products like the one I held up and she said "no I don't think so" without looking up. I turn the corner and there was a whole row of the exact same products with different brands. I was only one of two customers in the store. Anyway there was one shining light - one girl who left before I did, she was very knowledgeable and helped me find a sunscreen with a tint that matched my skin. So thank you to her - she knew about all the products and brands. The other girls need to learn what's in the store, and care more about the customer. So kudos to Ulta for expanding their store and lines of products. You should make that one girl with the short hair a manager and look for some new, caring staff.

Yelp
What is with Ulta these days? The caliber of individual they hire is sad. While they all are very skilled in the makeup field, a good number have 0 customer service skills. I went in here today 10/27/2018 around 4pm just lookin for a beauty blender, the register is swamped, the line all the way to the back near the hair products. The ladies at the front are doing the best they can while 3 ladies are chit chatting in prestige, not helping the some 10 customers roaming their section. I made my rounds in the store and they are joking around how their eye make up matches today and how hilarious it is. Since I couldn't find the product and the ladies were quite busy in their social circle, I left. Then headed to Sephora in Reston Town Center where they hire makeup AND customer service professionals. Do better Ulta.

Yelp
I bought two products a couple months ago that I had an adverse reaction to and my derm said to discontinue. I took them back to Ulta but didn't have my receipt. You would have thought I held up the store the way the woman treated me. The purchase didn't show up in my Ulta account (I don't recall the woman asking for it when I checked out as they were crazy busy). She said she could give me $1.30 each for them as that's last price someone paid. I said that couldn't be correct as one of the items was $45 and she said someone used points and she didn't know when or IF I purchased the products. Seriously you're going to say that to me, passively aggressively accusing me of stealing? I didn't even want money back - just a different product! Will never go to Ulta again. Sephora will have all of our family business and I have two girls in late teens that spend a ton of $ on make up.....
google avatar

Christine T.

Yelp
This is based on the store itself and not the salon services. I love the store overall because its really one stop shopping for my beauty needs and not to mention I've found some great buys in the clearance section which are often embedded in the aisles so you really have to be on the look out. I'd give it more stars but in my experiences over the years the staff is pretty aloof bordering on rude but I limit my interactions with them. Compared to other locations where the staff is often courteous and helpful the staff here act like they could really care less about their job. So because its convenient and close and I'm basically able to get most everything I need not to mention the coupons are also incentive I come back and basically pay for my stuff and try not to really be bothered by the staff who could care less. I would say something else but its not nice language but I think you astute readers know what I'm talking about.
google avatar

Andrea F.

Yelp
No customer service skills whatsoever. Just standing around talking to each other. Never offered to help. When I asked them a question about a product they were dismissive. I'm going to Sephora.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars, I would. Agreed with all the other bad reviews on here. The service here is despicable. I came in on a Tuesday night around 7:30pm, and the girl with blonde-brown hair at the register was completely RUDE. I asked her whether she knew if "Onyx" was more of a black, or gray color (regarding eyeliner), but she was clueless, and with an annoyed tone replied, "I think it's black." Seriously? How do you get hired at a cosmetic store and NOT know the difference between the colors the company (Ulta-brand) sells? The terrible service continued... One of my eyeliners was marked down to "$2.19", however, it rung up as "$2.99". When I nicely asked whether it was on sale, she had a horrible attitude, replying "Do you want me to cut 89 cents off?" (WELL, that would be NICE since it's SUPPOSED to be $2.19...) Why would I willingly pay more on something that is supposed to be marked down? All I said was, "It's okay, I won't get it". It wasn't even about the money at this point. Her bad attitude made me just want her to hurry up, so I could leave. She proceeded to chuck the eyeliner pen carelessly into a basket. Then, she shut off her nasty attitude when her co-worker mentioned their social plans outside of work. Seriously? Worst customer service. Unless this Ulta location wants to continue losing money, they better step it up and hire employees that are actually knowledgable, and not rude. Absolutely devoid of professionalism here, I'll be buying my cosmetics elsewhere (as well as telling my friends to avoid this place).

Yelp
Part of the strip a few doors down from DSW. Pretty large space, MILFy customer demographic. No greeter or floater, sort of surprised by that. Clearance rack hidden away at the end of the second aisle on the right side of the store. The sales associates definitely had varying degrees of familiarity with inventory, since two of the three I spoke to at the counter had never even heard of the purse hooks. They'd run out of them by the time I'd gotten there, and once that had been established they were pretty unhelpful. Still bought a cheap hairbrush, some thermal protection spray, and set of travel rollers though.

Yelp
SALON REVIEW: I had very high hopes! I haven't had a proper hair cut or stylist in nearly 5 yrs. I has been cutting and coloring my own hair. Why? Because of this very reason - bad professionals who don't listen. My appt was with Bety. I brought her nearly 8 photos of what I wanted and even the color recipe from the color manufacturer! I asked for her to use those photos as guides, an all over color with ombré from the roots (to ward off drastic color growth - my hair is dark and I wanted to go Pravana cranberry). What I got was a streaky highlight with different levels of bright pink. It looks like I botched my own highlight job, not paid nearly $200!! I'm pretty flexible with the color, but I wanted it all one color, not zebra striped. The cut is also subpar. It doesn't work with my hair (I showed her where my cowlicks were located), and the layers aren't even nice! I ended up with a bob that looks like a 5 yr old cut my hair. Now, I'm patiently waiting to get into Be Scene in Maryland to have someone fix my cut & color. What a waste of $200! I should have just gone next door to DSW and bought shoes....
google avatar

Jodie L.

Yelp
The employees are nice and helpful but not super efficient. Waited in line for quite a long time for one customer in front of me being checked out by the only cashier working, while several employees were just floating around stocking things. Cost-benefit analysis: keeping several of your paying customers waiting vs. not directly helping any customer by just stocking products that aren't in high demand on a day with slow traffic.
google avatar

Yelp
Ulta is my alternative to Sephora. I really enjoy this location as it has a brow bar and also a salon. Benefit has a brow bar set up so you can get your eyebrows done and on point. "The Benefit Brow Bar is where girls in-the-know get brows on-the-go. Our licensed professionals are highly trained in the art of brow shaping, so they're always ready to wax and tweeze, primp and please. And, to keep you hair-free and carefree below the brow, we also offer a range of other signature services." Convenient and easy to make a reservation

Melinda K.

Yelp
I'm just giving this Ulta 1 star. Why? The past two times I've shopped here, the person who checked me out just handed me my bag and continued talking to the person next to her behind the counter. No "thank you," even. Just here's your bag, and we're too busy to say thank you to our customers for shopping here. Also, I haven't had one person working there the past 5 times I've visited ask if they could help me. Just...nothing. Ulta people, the way I've been treated is the reason people like me will ultimately just choose to buy their beauty supplies from Amazon.

Yelp
Buoyed by a good review from a friend, I decided to give Ulta's Salon a try. I only needed a trim, so I figured something simple was a good way to try them out. Biggest. Regret. Ever. I had very long hair--midway down my back, and I told the stylist I just wanted a trim to clean it up. A few long layers were fine. He showed me how much he wanted to cut, and I adjusted his hand--telling him I wanted like an inch and to please keep it long. He took a long time cutting the back, and at the time, I couldn't really tell what was going on. But when he came around to the front and did the first cut, my heart sank. My hair was short. Really really short. The kind of haircut you read horror stories about but didn't realize actually happened. I started tearing up in the chair and asked him what he was doing. "Layers!" He exclaimed cheerfully. These were not layers. My hair had gone from mermaid long to just below my shoulders. (I'm getting teary eyed just typing this out.) Id been growing my hair for years, and it was all gone with a few overly enthusiastic clips from the Ulta Salon. I wish this had a happy ending where I rained down my indignation and got everything for free but--my stylist was REALLY nice and looked so excited about the cut, and I suck at confrontations. And really--no $$ in the world would give me my hair back. I went in the bathroom before paying to cry a little bit (because I didn't want to cry while checking out). Every morning when I look at my hair, my heart sinks. I hate it with a burning passion. I'm sharing this as a warning. Do not go to this salon. You will go in like a mermaid and leave with a look ready to fetch children from soccer practice in your mini van. (I can't even go to this location to buy makeup anymore because the sinking feelings of rage and regret are so strong.) Farewell, hair. I hope I can see you again in 2-3 years.

Yelp
Earth to Sterling Ulta employees! I drove to this location because Ulta's fabulous website indicated that I would find ELF's new line, "Jelly Pop." I approached a sales person and was told in no uncertain terms that ULTA Sterling does not carry ELF products. Don't shop here. What a mess.
google avatar

Heather R.

Yelp
Came here and spent a lot, like all the Ulta's I go to. I found everything I wanted. Some of the sales ladies were talking amongst themselves but I didn't really mind because I don't like to be bothered when shopping. I like Anastacia, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Bare Minerals, and other good products.
google avatar

Yelp
Super sweet and helpful, lovely girls! I am in the area frequently and have stopped here a few times and always have gotten great service! Anytime I have questions or am looking for something in particular, a sales girl is always at the ready! Thank you!

Yelp
Poor service. Asked for help with a lipstick that appeared to be out of stock. Sales rep said she had to wait for another employee to come up to the front before she could check the stock room. Waited for 10 minutes and finally gave up. She was chit chatting with the other employees ... my request forgotten. Walked out and she didn't even acknowledge me. Very unprofessional. Ended up buying the same lipstick at Target for less.

Yelp
Oh, my goodness! Coming from a small town - what a pleasure to find out Ulta offers hair services! I happened to ask a clerk one day what she thought of the stylists, and she took me back and introduced me to the BETTY - who does her hair. A week or so later I called and made an appointment, getting in in a timely manner. BETTY did an outstanding job listening to what I *meant* and not just what I said. She applied a great color - and I have to say the cut is terrific! It's the first time in several years that my husband actually said, "She did a good job!" WaHoo!! Absolutely will make this my Virginia hair salon!

Kim G.

Yelp
Went in for foundation. The employee wanted me to try "IT". Unfortunately the line doesn't have a large variety of colors I explained and there is not a color for my dark complexion. I know this because I've tried it. She insisted on "showing me". She applied the makeup and it had a chalky ashy tone. I explained it wasn't a good match. Because I wasnt interested in the "IT" line she wasn't interested in helping me. She went on to the next person with the exact same pitch...leaving me to fin for myself. There was no one else available for questions in the store.

Yelp
I wish that there was a zero star rating. Walked around the store looking for cologne and travel hair products. Walked by at least 6 different employees. Not one acknowledged my existence. My hair was messy, so I was obviously in need of help. So, on my own, I find the American Crew stuff that my wife likes, and...it is buy 2 get one free. Well, I only need one product, but what the heck! I'll take all 3! I wait in the check out line for at least 5 minutes, where the have one person at the register. After my products are rung in, the total is $56.42. I said, "I'm sorry, I think that it was supposed to be buy 2, get 1 free.". The lady went to go check, and came back without any conclusion. Then another lady came up and said, "I don't think that the travel set is included." I say,"The sign was right in front of it." We then walk over to the area, and she picks up the sign (that is RIGHT in front of the kit and points to the fine print and says that it excludes promotional products. I say fine, forget it, as I walk toward the door. Funny thing is, that if anyone had greeted me before it was 'cash collection time', I would have let the rest of it slide. I have shopped here at least once a month for the last few years, but NEVER again. There are too many other options. Hello Amazon!

Yelp
Too bad I couldn't give this place ZERO STARS. Customer service is horrible, you're never greeted, and you can never find help!!! I went in looking for Mario Badescu Drying lotion and I asked how it was used. The associate literally shook it up. The label CLEARLY states to not shake!! Wow. Another time I went in looking for a fragrance and I asked for help. I was forgotten about! After smelling quite a few, I noticed I was being followed around by 2 associates thinking I was going to steal! Jeeezzz, had you asked me if I needed help or HAD NOT FORGOTTEN about me, you have to treat me like a shoplifter. The last time I went in, I wasn't greeted, and all I heard about was a gay salon manager and 3 girls talking about how drunk they got the night before. Really? I am SOOOO over this place. Sephora will be getting my hard earned $$$$ from now on!!!

Yelp
It's look like my poor review is in good company. No one will help you here and not only that, they are completely rude about it. And they have plenty of people working too. I called them to ask if they had a product, they told me they did. I drove all the way down there to find out: 1. they did not have it and 2. it took me an hour to get a person that worked there to pay attention to me and tell me that. In the day and age, where you can buy all the same products online for less you would think they would have better customer service.

Yelp
I needed a bang trim and was in the area, so I thought I'd try here (my usual salon is closed on Sunday's). Big mistake. The stylist refused to cut my bangs to the length I requested, so they are still too long. To top it off, I was charged $13 for JUST a bang trim! My fault for not asking the price in advance, but talk about highway robbery. The store is crowded with stock; some shelves are messy and others are nearly empty. Very unkempt. No one is around to answer questions. I've been to other Ulta locations and been pleased; not sure what's wrong with this one, but it needs new management or something.

Yelp
I had a smoothing treatment by Emini and lost 1/3 of my bra-strap length hair as a result. A 450* flat iron was the culprit and my fine hair suffered terribly. Thank God, my singed hair has grown out several inches over the last year, although I still have 10" or so to go before I regain all that was lost. This is a costly and traumatic experience. I've spoken to another client who suffered through a similar experience with Nancy. Best advice: Schedule all chemical (color, straightening, curl, etc.) appointments with Chris Smith -- a salon genius -- if you can. She has limited Ashburn appointments these days, as she is working in two locations.

Yelp
For makeup advice, I would like to recommend Hailey at Ulta, Dulles Retail Plaza. She is an eyebrow specialist but I find her to be knowledgeable about all makeup at Ulta. The other associates at that location are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful as well. The first time I went, Hailey kindly offered to help me, and I gladly accepted. She showed me how to apply eye primer and explained how it actually enhances my eye makeup. She said it would help my eye shadow stay on longer, and she was right. The next day, I went to the dentist and the receptionist said, "Your eyes look amazing!" Today, Hailey cheerfully helped me again. This time I was short on cash. She showed me the special sales but wasn't pushy at all -- and when I told her I was trying to save money, she helped me achieve my goals. She knows right where all the products are so I was in & out in a flash. Then when I got to the register, I found out I instantly qualified for an Ulta credit card (uh oh!). I took the opportunity so the next time I ask Hailey for help, I won't be on such a tight budget!

Yelp
Wow! I am amazed at the poor reviews I have read. I've been a hair client of Chris' for about two years and she is WONDERFUL! I am always pleased with the cut, high-lites and her customer service. As for the store, I shop here frequently. I love their rewards program which has earned me several free services and discounts off of items I've purchased. The website has a lot to offer and it is very convenient as well. Some of the staff doesn't "appear" to be friendly, but when I've asked a question or for help to find something, they always step up to the plate to assist. I am a long-time customer and will continue to be.

Yelp
When did they stop using Retail Me Not Coupons?? Cashier gave me attitude about it. Maybe if she said it in a nicer way and the cashier beside her didn't chimed in rudely, I wouldn't be as upset. I hadn't shop here in awhile, needed something and I was near by. Big mistake, never coming back.

Yelp
Really lovely girls! They're always super helpful! I came here to decide between what hair supplement will help my hair grow faster. And the girls' recommendations really helped me make my decision. Ulta also has a really great return policy.

Yelp
I love ulta, but most of the time I try to get the free gift it is either not in yet or out of stock. So frustrating since it's a great way to try out different products!

Yelp
I see all of the bad reviews here and cannot help but think that they must be under new management in the past few months. I have been shopping and using the salon at this location for the past 6 months and have had outstanding experiences every time. Nina - My stylist is exceptional. She asks me about my family, remembers topics from previous appointments, addresses me by name, and gives sound advice on my look. If she ever leaves Ulta, I will go with her. The service provided by the sales team is also top notch. I get my questions answered and everyone is always willing to invest time into ensuring my needs are met. I have also seen how the store manager interacts with her team. They are treated with respect which makes me sure it is translated into the service standard.

Yelp
So I shop here all the time and I mean all the time this is the source of my make up and typically I always have a great experience but this time around it was horrible!!! their customer service skills with the girl who checked me out was completely horrible!!!!!! I can't stress it enough! She made me wanna return my whole 158$ purchase. She completely killed my whole mood for a good hour!! I work customer service so I understand how stress it can be but never have a ever treated a customer that bad. This girl has completely rude 100% of the way from the second I stepped up to check out! This ulta location is going down hill from their check out associates. I rather drive 40 minutes down the road to leesburg or the manassas location. Definitely lost one more customer due to their crappy cashiers:
