If you are getting a haircut here- Don’t! I’ve gone back and forth about writing this, but after my experience getting my bangs trimmed here, I feel it needs to be said. My appointment with Adamari was, without exaggeration, one of the most unprofessional salon experiences I’ve ever had. To start, she called to reschedule my appointment an hour later which is fine, I understand things happen. However, even after showing up early for the new time, I still sat waiting for almost 40 minutes past my rescheduled appointment. That’s unacceptable for a service that takes ten minutes at most. The lack of professionalism didn’t stop there. Her underarms were unshaved and coated in visible deodorant streaks, which wouldn’t normally matter, except they were inches from my face the entire time she was cutting my hair. It was honestly disgusting and made me question the salon’s hygiene standards. For a beauty salon, that’s embarrassing. Then came the haircut itself. If you can call it that. She completely butchered my bangs. They were cut far too short, the face-framing pieces were chopped to the same blunt length, and everything was bulky with zero blending into the rest of my hair. She pulled the rest of my hair back while cutting my bangs, so when I finally let all my hair down there was no blending, shape or flow whatsoever. I left looking like I’d let a first-year beauty student practice on me. To make matters worse, she didn’t even bother to clean me off afterward. I left with hair all over my face, neck, and clothes. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there. The next day, I called Ulta to have someone else fix it. Bruno was kind and did his best to salvage what he could, even admitting the bangs were way too short to correct. Kayla, who wasn’t even my stylist, went out of her way to be warm and professional. Honestly wish I would’ve chosen her to cut my hair instead. Unfortunately, the damage is done. Now I get to spend the next two months waiting for my bangs to grow out long enough to fix. Between the lack of hygiene, the poor technique, and the complete disregard for client experience, I won’t be returning for another haircut here- and if you’re planning on getting your haircut here, I recommend that you cancel.

Ulta is just pure fun and makeup addiction. I love browsing omo but there’s always staff to help if you need to get in and out fast. Huge selection of mall brand products but also inexpensive drug store lines. Maybelline to MAC and in between. Love the store experience over online purchases. Testers galore and if there isn’t one, they will make one. Lots of styling products if you can’t find what you’re looking for at Sally. This store is clean and staff really friendly and super helpful.

This has been my local Ulta for years and now with a recent change in management (to my knowledge) I’ll be taking my business to the further store from me. I went to take a mascara to exchange for a different shade - same product just black instead of brown - and the manager proceeds to tell me that it’s a completely different product and totally different price which was 100% false. I’ve purchased this product for many years and It was the exact same. He kept saying it was a different size when they were equal and basically refused my exchange which was within the 60 day limit and would not honor the discounted price I got the original one at. I left and went online to Ulta’s support and they shipped me the product with the exchange price as it should’ve been and will even let me get store credit on the one I’m returning in less time than it took me to explain to their manager that this was the same product. I’d recommend having management study up on their products and policies. Me, as a customer, shouldn’t be more knowledgable.

I had the worst experience with Ulta today. I have been going to stores all over the country for years and have never been so dismissed or spoken to so poorly. I was attempting to exchange items that were extremely bad quality and the wrong colors for different items under the same category. They would not offer my discount that I had received as I used my 20% ulta credit card first purchase coupon. The agent was named Natalia, I’m not sure whether she was the manager or the first employee I was working with. They were both incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have never been treated with such contempt in my life when returning makeup in which is clearly the wrong color, the quality is terrible or the description was blatantly wrong. I ended up spending more than I should have as the 20% should have been honored as the mistake was made by Ulta online and the lack of detail and inaccurate shades. Most of the reviews are from other websites and are not helpful to actually discerning products as I pointed out. They both gave me attitude for bringing up valid concerns and wanting products that actually live up to their description and shade. This is not difficult to comprehend. I will be contacting higher offices to complain and also my good friend who works in marketing to explain this awful experience.

I had such a great experience today at Ulta! Lisa was a great help and was so nice! She came up to us asking if we needed help (which I did, I just hate asking) and she showed me exactly where I needed to be and helped me with my exchange and coupon! Thank you Lisa!

If I could leave zero stars, I would, The manager called me at 10:30 AM to let me know that her employee has been sick for days and couldn’t help me, which I understand people become sick but if she was sick for “days” they should have handled her clients differently. I had my make up scheduled at 1:30 today for my wedding And they canceled and she started laughing ( like it was funny) that there is no one else and nothing she could do. She wasn’t professional. She did not handle it correctly, and I will no longer be coming to this location if anything i’m not sure I’ll even be ordering from this company anymore. I’ve never had my makeup done professionally, so this isn’t me just being a brat about things. The way the customer service was presented was absolutely ridiculous.

Absolutely NO customer service today despite lots of employees. I wanted to get some eyebrow gel, and knew what brand, and color I wanted to get *Thank God* so my only obstacle was the location of the product. I rarely shop here because I like the variety and quality of the other name brand cosmetic store, but because it isn't close to me, today I decided to stop here instead. I looked online to see if they even carried it so I didn't waste my time. The website even said they had it in stock. When I finally found the section where the brand was, at first I was excited, then my heart sank as the color I came for was gone. None in stock. Gosh darn it. I didn't give up, I was going to ask a sales associate, but didn't want to track one down. I bent down looking at all the boxes (of course the self would have to be the bottom one) they didn't have the small size , but they had the larger size so I grabbed it and proceed to my next step which was to open the box. Why you ask, well... In reading a lot of the reviews for this brow gel quite a few said it was dried out when they bought it. I wanted to open it to make sure before I walked out the door that wasn't the case for me. I hate the trouble of returning items and this was a $20 purchase so opened it I did. No one was around or even looking my way (unlike when you go into a 7-11 where eyes are on you the whole time you are in the store) I had to brake the security seal, but thought, I'm going to buy this gel, or I won't if it's dried out, so I didn't feel bad opening it. It was just what I came for, and it wasn't dried out! I decided to walk around to see what else they had. I walked the whole store and no one asked if I needed help. Prices are expensive. For a little 1oz travel size shampoo it cost me $7.00. I bought it reluctantly only because I wanted to try it. I didn't have to wait in line very long so that was a plus. Next rime I run out of brow gel I'm going order it online, much better customer service.

Ulta had a lot of specials on and gifts with purchase. This special was for online orders only. I was so disappointed to get my order and there were no gift with purchase's in my delivery. Sometimes I'll buy just to get the gift with purchase. Such a rip off!! I feel like sending all my stuff back cuz they pissed me off ! ya know consumers have lots of choices and Ulta wont be one of them for me. Beware

Love Georgie! I was recommended to see her for eyebrow tint and lamination. I expected this to be a "one time" visit, but I'm hooked! She does phenomenal work that even caught the attention of other patrons walking by. I got several compliments on how great my brows looked before she was even done! I am very consistent with following post care instructions and the results last about 7 weeks. I'm due to go in at 8 weeks and they still look great with very minimal touch up needed. This saves me an easy 15-20 minutes a day on my brows.

After having a bad experience at a different location, this one fixed my problem the managers were so kind and understanding (I think one of their names was Lisa) did what they could to fix my problem. I was so grateful. The stylist (Brooke s) did an amazing job fixing my hair and getting it to the desired color! Thank you for giving me my dream hair color;) This location always has friendly staff and willing to help you find what you need also.

This is the best place for curly hair product! I love the curlsmith brand for days I feel like natural curls. Ulta definitely has a bunch of everything and it is a better price than Sephora. I don't come here often; but when I do... I spend $100 plus!

I love that Ulta stores have a plethora of products and that those products/brands stay consistent. My biggest complaint about their competitor is I get connected to an item and next time I go it is no longer in store and I must go online. Ulta brings in new products without losing the popular and trusted brands as well.

Wow! The best customer service ever! Jordan is a boss at helping customers in need. I had been used deva curl products and it totally ruined my curly hair in every way. Jordan stepped in to help me and make it all right again. I would encourage everyone to shop at Ulta!

When shopping for makeup and skincare I usually choose Sephora, but Ulta is closer to my house, so if I need something quickly, I'll stop by. They carry a mix of traditionally drugstore along with prestige brands, a decent selection of fragrance, and also have a salon, and some sort of skincare boutique through Dermalogica. Their best offerings are the large selection of Benefit products along with the Brow Bar, Essie nailpolish, cute Tonymoly K-beauty products, and Becca makeup. Oh, and they carry Lipstick Queen, which Sephora doesn't have, so they've got that going for 'em! Customer service is mixed. On my most recent visit there was one girl wandering around the store who asked me, and several other people, more than once if we needed assistance. She was not pushy, but made it clear she was available if needed. That's great. The two people at the cash registers, however, were both very curt, and not friendly at all. It was sort of busy, but only with a line of maybe 4 or 5 people, so there was no reason they should have been stressed or felt they needed to rush customers. I noticed the cashier who assisted me sign up a customer for their rewards program without actually telling her she was doing so until it was completed. When it came time for me to check out I was greeted with, "And what's your phone number?" in the most bored tone of all time. She never once smiled. I'm not a stickler for perfect customer service, but at least make an effort to be friendly and not let everyone know that you hate your job. I still think Ulta is worth checking out on occasion, but there are so many places to buy makeup, it's really too bad they don't make a little more of an effort to carry better products and have nicer employees.

This location is in a busy area, but there is usually lots of close parking. Sometimes I do t feel like braving crowds at a mall. Kayan recommended items, helped me find products, got me sale prices and showed me how to sign up for future deals. She was helpful and friendly but not pushy. I like their products plus they carry other brands. They have great specials in store and online. I bought sample kits for me, my four daughters and one daughter-in-law. We all loved them. If I worked here, I probably wouldn't bring home a paycheck--just makeup.

In just wanted to give the stylist at this Ulta a shout out! Justin has been doing my hair for the past 3 years now and everytime he does an amazing job. I always get so many compliments on his work. I've had service done by Mesh as well. Always happy with my results!

This Ulta is always clean, organized and the staff is helpful. I have started getting my hair done in the salon as well and they have some super fun and talented hair dressers. They listen to what I want and are great at giving suggestions within the boundaries of what I'm thinking.

I love Ulta products and I love that they offer a lot! Although I don't shop there often I usually like to use my points when I can, and I know I have them. When I was rung up by the employee Leslie my total came to 30 dollars, I asked if I had points and she said she didn't look. Turns out I had some point which brought my total to 17 dollars! All I'm saying is you guys are lucky the products sell themselves because with the nasty attitude this employee gave me. She rolled her eyes as if going back to look was an inconvenience for her. I felt really uncomfortable that she didn't asked me if I wanted to use my points. And I get a lot of times it's quick, and you try to hurry thru the process but it was like if I inconvenienced her

Good prices! A tad cheaper than sephora, and with less "intimidating" staff, more approachable and friendly. They have a huge store with big variety of products. I have also purchased stuff online and shipping is pretty speedy! Definitely sign up for online coupons. You get lots of good discounts and also accumulate points towards... Another discount or gift certificate? Not sure, more shopping for sure! ;) I give it a solid 4, not quite five just because they don't sell Mac products, but that may not be quite fair with them. I'll definitely keep coming here!

Every time I have shopped here their products are shelved incorrectly so the pricing is always wrong to the point of reconciling every UPC of what I want to purchase. I'm beginning to think it's on purpose or maybe the employees are illiterate.

The girls at the brow bar here are AWESOME! They were great about listening to what I wanted--nicely arched THICK brows. It's hard to get some people to understand that, even at other Ulta locations. My only recommendation would be for management to maybe ease up on getting the girls to upsell other products. I understand the intention, and it probably is helpful for lots of clients, but I really don't wear much makeup beyond the occasional blush and mascara. I have no desire to darken or outline my brows. I think the girls at the brow bar understand this, but it seems to be common theme at various Ulta locations that there is always an upsell at the end of a wax.

I came here for my first time getting a facial done. I didn't know what I was in for so I got the 90 minute session done. The lady I got my facial done by was awesome! Her name's Adelaide and she's the only person at this location that does facial. She was very informative on Dermalogica products. I felt like my skin was well taken care of in her hands. I have hormonal acne along my jaw and had her do whatever she could with extractions. She also massaged my arms while I had a mask on. I almost fell asleep in relaxation LOL. THANK YOU AGAIN ADELAIDE! 100/10 will come back for my next session with her!

I want to thank the workers at Ulta for being so kind, courteous, and considerate for my visit today. They have always been very helpful at this store and accommodating. I am sorry that they had to encounter the woman who did not want to wear a mask and wanted to take up their time to argue their case. We are in a really crappy situation right now and coming for workers who are following the store rules is very sad. I get that masks are uncomfortable, hot and can cause claustrophobia but until we can get past this, would it be possible to just do curbside or online ordering if you cannot wear a mask? Please be kind to your customer services representatives.

I went into Ulta a couple of weeks ago to find some make up for my wedding. No one proactively approached me, although it was pretty obvious I was a little lost. That is the only negative about this experience. I approached a woman and asked her for assistance and she was all over it! Between this woman and the one I was directed to to help do something about my eyebrows, I had a great experience. These women are lovely. Helpful. Engaging. Knowledgeable. Also, I felt like I was shopping with girlfriends. They educated me, sold me (without pushing or demanding). Their brow bar is terrific. I paid 21 dollars for a waxing, which I can't believe I did, but it was worth it. The make up I bought is perfect for my needs. I can't believe I spent 30-something bucks on foundation, but it is perfect. You get what you pay for? Um, yessssss! I wish I could remember the names of the women who assisted me. I recommend them and Ulta in Midvale to all women. I can't wait to go back to #1 buy products that are quality and #2 have some fun with the people who work there. If you not only want to feel pretty but to actually look pretty, go to Ulta. Thanks, Ulta!

I came to Linda at Ulta with hair that had been fried and completely destroyed by a previous stylist. I honestly didn't want anyone to touch my hair at this point, but due to the damage I could not even brush it without huge amounts falling out. Linda was able to bring my hair back to life in ONE treatment. I left with hair that was far more manageable and not breaking nearly as much. She gave me products to continue to help strengthen my hair and it has only improved in the last month. She has also checked in with me to make sure my hair is holding up well and I am very excited for our follow up appointment! I cannot wait to see the condition of my hair a year from now. Thanks Linda! Life long customer for sure.

Today I got my hair done by Charlotte! She is the manager of the salon in the back. She has helped me finally get back to an amazing color and has made me feel good about my hair. She also gave me many tips and had so much to talk about. Every one else in the front were really sweet and cheerful. They actually care about the customers unlike most salons or beauty places. I had a scheduled hair appointment tonight for a color( root touch up ) but I was just called by Justin informing that the stylist that was scheduled to see me this evening did not show up today and he has had tried all day to get a hold of her. I was very upset bc I was needing my color done before tomorrow bc I was getting hair extensions installed. He told me that he will call Ulta salons in the surrounding area to see if any other salon could see me before tomorrow. About an hour later he called me saying that there was no salon that could squeeze me in last minute. I could tell in his voice how apologetic he was and how badly he wanted to help me. At first I was very upset about my appointment being canceled bc of a no show but because of Justin being so determined to help solve the issue it calmed me down a lot. I don't normally leave reviews dedicating to an individual at the establishment but I truly appreciated Justin being so attentive and determined.

After waiting in line to purchase a bottle of shampoo, I was informed that a liter bottle was cheaper than the smaller bottle I wanted to purchase. I declined the liter bottle. She insisted, "Are you sure you don't want the larger bottle"? I have been making major decisions my entire life, and I thought I had made myself very clear. Annoyed! She proceeded to ask for my phone number, zip code, name, and date of birth. I refused all this information and said I only wanted to pay for the shampoo and leave. I told her she did not need any of that information to sell me shampoo. When she insisted she needed that information for my profile, I told her I did not want emails, texts, mail, or other communication, handed her the shampoo and walked. Much more than annoyed! Time for everyone to take their business to a local company and not fund a faceless corporation where you are a just a profile. Definitely will not return

Gone here twice and not been disappointed. I told them what I was looking for and they helped me find reasonably priced, and great products. Check online before you go for double point days so you can rake those in. I also found that when I decided to double check prices on places like amazon, mostly it was the same or gery close at ulta. Plus, I love my new exclusive color product that only they carried....and it was on sale for less than everyone else.

I love the idea of Ulta. I didn't want to pass judgement until I went there a couple of times, after going there at least 5 times my review hasn't changed. Every time I go here they follow me around, they don't say anything I hate it there like watching me even all the way to check out line. I wish they would stop doing this and maybe help me pick out a lip stick, I must admit I take about 15min to decide which lipstick to get and I would't mind be helped. I'm latina and there will be other people in there of other nationalities and It really bothers me that they don't watch them too, I never play the race card, but I never felt so insulted in my life. I took my mother here to get her new foundation and she felt, so insulted as well, they follow and never offer to help. Ulta if your reading this up your customer service. I rather drive 20 extra min to sephora for better service.
