Ultima Hotel Gstaad

Simply excellent. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is truly beautiful and modern, with large and spacious rooms. It feels very intimate and peaceful, giving you a real sense of being at home. The service is next level – the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. The food was outstanding, and they took great care to provide gluten-free options for me, which I really appreciated. My partner was celebrating his birthday, and they surprised us with a cake and balloons – such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. We will definitely be coming back.

Ultima initially messed up my reservation by contacting me and telling me that actually they're closing for the season at the halfway point of my 4-day stay. It was frustrating but they made up for the inconvenience with a high level of hospitality. The food and drinks were good, and I loved having a cigar with my dinner. The hotel itself is superb, and the spa is incredible. Service was top notch, and everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for skiing and to celebrate New Year's Eve. It was a truly impressive experience. Starting with the delicious and healthy breakfast, including the Zuma restaurant where my family and I had New Year's Eve dinner – the decor was beautiful and the food was excellent. The accommodation was cozy with two bedrooms, perfect for my family to relax together. Each room had a balcony with stunning mountain and chalet views. There was an electric fireplace with a remote control, so there was no smoke smell. It was close to the ski slopes, and had warm, convenient storage for our equipment. The staff were very attentive, and there was a shuttle service for skiing, shopping, and dining. After skiing, we enjoyed the spa with its relaxing massages. There was an indoor heated jacuzzi and a hot tub to soak in the cool outdoor air – it was incredibly relaxing. The staff, especially Ludmila, were all very attentive. In short, I loved this place and would definitely return next year.

Went for ski holiday. Has two ski lifts very close to the hotel - Eggli and Wispile. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating, got there a little early and they offered to set up a room service table as our room wasn’t ready, and gave us a tour of the hotel. Little bit of a small hotel but made it feel all the more homely. Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment type chalet that was simply stunning. Our room also had a caviar fridge which I thought was a little weird but made it stand out. Good location about 15 minutes walk away from the main centre of Gstaad, but hotel offers complimentary taxi service to pretty much anywhere in Gstaad. Would definitely return. Zuma pop up also had some delicious food, unfortunately the staff did forget about a birthday request but it didn’t bother me at all, as they made it up with some delightful chocolates from EarlyBeck, which again just goes to show how thoughtful everyone there is. Would also like to give some props to one of the staff, I’ve unfortunately forgotten his name but he was brunette and quite tall. Helped accommodate me and my family with everything we needed, thank you very much

Outstanding experience. Great ambience. Service is amazing. Rooms and facilities were above expectations. The staff was the highlight of our stay. Superb! Recommend it. 100% 👏🏽

This is the best hotel by far in Gstaad. ‏ ‏service and stuff are top notch. ‏definitely will come back this is a top 5 star. ‏zuma restaurant in the hotel is a great option to spend great evenings. ‏this is a winner!!

My stay at the Hotel Ultima in Gstaad was perfect in every way. The rooms are spacious, modern, and at the same time very comfortably furnished—a place where you immediately feel at home.|The staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always eager to fulfill your every wish. |I would particularly like to highlight the beautiful spa area, which is absolutely impressive in terms of both its facilities and atmosphere. Everything was of the highest standard—a stay that leaves nothing to be desired. Truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
