Ultima Hotel Gstaad

This was an amazing stay! The interior is beautiful, and together with its spa and surroundings, it's the perfect spot if you come to Gstaad to relax. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the delicious dinner served by F&B Manager Gennaro (who clearly knows that dessert is a must!). Equally delightful were the friendly conversations at breakfast with Lisa and Bart, who made us feel completely at home. A huge thank you to all the Ultima staff, who exemplify perfect hospitality! The only suggestion: I think that it would be helpful to have the price list of the snacks in the room.

Unbelievable stay at Ultima Gstaad. From the moment we arrived, the staff was impeccable—always warm, smiling, and genuinely eager to help. We stayed in the Signature Suite, which was beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast spread was top-tier, and the Italian restaurant exceeded expectations. The spa deserves a special mention—not only was it serene and luxurious, but I also had quite possibly the best massage I’ve ever experienced (and I’ve had many around the world). The team even went above and beyond when a phone call didn’t go through—they simply came up in person to assist. That level of attention and care truly sets Ultima apart. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Hotel, with a beautiful Spa. The Massages are excellent with superb therapists Caroline Charlotte and Melanie. Quiet rooms luxurious beds and therapist with excellent knowledge.

Very quiet, no atmosphere, food is at best average & over priced. There are lots of good places to eat and stay in Gstaad, Ultima is not one of them. Staff are pleasant but this place is struggling to get the crowds in. If you like atmosphere and other guests I’d consider elsewhere.

We stayed for a friend’s wedding. Everything was exceptional. Nothing is too much for the staff and they really go the extra mile. Incredible service. The hotel and spa are beautiful. Food was brilliant too. Thank you very Ultima Gstaad - we will be back!

Absolutely loved the room and interiors. We had a suite in the main hotel building. Loved the fireplace and the walk in closet. Big comfortable bed and great views with motorized blinds. The breakfast was 5 stars every day. They also have a theatre room with very comfortable seats which you can book for a private movie. But the best thing was hands down the spa and pool and their two hot tubs. I think I spent half my time in gstaad in their spa, it was that good!

This hotel is a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend it in the winter. From my arrival at the hotel the reception was great and check-in smooth. The suite is very wonderful, I liked the very comfortable furniture and the bed, which faces a mobile TV that can be hidden, and I also liked the fireplace, which gives the impression of the beautiful Swiss winter. The bathroom is also wonderful and no less beautiful than the room. The views of the Alps are indescribable from the balcony, which has a comfortable chair. The service is very professional and takes care of everything the guest wants. Hotel services, including delivery to the village center in a luxury car, BMW X7 or Mercedes Viano. Indoor cinema in the hotel. Hall games. Smooth entry and exit from the parking garage where the ski lockers are located all it’s free for the guests. The concierge is amazing and has all the information you need and provides you with all the services and events that suit your needs. I will never forget the Baccarat crystal chandelier and accessories, which add a sense of luxury combined with the character of a wooden Swiss cottage. It's really a great combination. The price is very reasonable and fair due to the level of services, comfortable accommodation, and the hotel’s very distinguished location. I can say that the downside of this stay is leaving the hotel.

This hotel is phenomenal. There are only 17 rooms/suites, so nothing is ever over crowded and the care and attention of the staff are unparalleled. They provide car service to everything, dinner, ski rentals, drop off and pick up at the various gondolas. Made it the easiest ski experience of our lives. The ski room also warms/dries your boots and gear, with a very nice area to put on boots, etc. Lise’s recommendations for dinner reservations were top notch. And the various pools, sauna, hot tubs and steam room were amazing. Will absolutely return. What a wonderful trip.
