Ultimate Jerk Centre

Ultimate Jerk was up and running on generator power in the aftermath of hurricane Melissa. There were a number of loyal as well as new patrons, and we had opportunity to chose from most of our favorite meals. The bar was opened for cocktails, wine and other liquors. The location sign that was at the entrance of the facility was taken during the passage of the weather system that ravaged the parish of St. Ann.

I visited Ultimate Jerk Center and the environment was definitely a highlight—clean, laid-back, and inviting. I ordered the jerk chicken, which was just okay. It had a bit of spice, but lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The sides didn’t really stand out either. Overall, not a bad spot if you're in the area, but I wouldn't rush back just for the food.

The fried rice was really good! The jerk chicken is hot, hot! It was hot enough to make your head sweat and your nose run! So be prepared! 😆

The cuisine at this restaurant is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. There is ample seating, and parking is available right outside. The establishment features dancers, and the ambience is delightful. However, the staff's demeanour towards customers could be improved. Perhaps some customer service training would be beneficial.

A great quick stop on the north coast. Customer service is really good and food is just as delicious.

So so, some persons had to go back to the cashier so she could get their order right. I ordered the jerk pork and roti. Portion sizes were small and the roti wasn't cooked properly. The jerk pork was ok. Members of my group said their food ok just ok. Nothing spectacular. The ladies at the bar were very friendly and helpful. However, the janitor was very dismissive. I realized she was just walking out of the bathroom so I asked if I could go in, wanting make sure that I did not step on the floor if it was still wet, simply because I did not want to mess up the floor if she had just wiped and it was still wet. Well, when I asked if I could go in, her response was, " if yuh waah" so at that point, I did not care anymore if I messed it up or not. Very much like I was bothering her. Not like, it's wet, but be careful. Nope. Would not recommend. I'd rather go to KFC than back there. And I'm not a KFC fan. Except for their BBQ famous bowl. Great location, but that lady left a bad taste in my mouth with her attitude.

My husband and I stopped there 10/1/2026 for lunch. He ordered Jerked Pork and I kid you not, it couldn't be chewed and we don't have in false teeth.. We couldn't afforded to throw away our $2100.00 so we took it home to both season and cook it. The thing took us nearly an hour to cook. It is not our first visit but definitely our last. The sauce has no jerked flavour. The corn was just blah.

The soup was yummy but the wait was too long. The service was meh... the cashier was awesome but the server wasn't so much. I think it's because she may have been overwhelmed by the number of people waiting to be served.
