"This stunning area in Bali has been crying out for a stylish beach club for a while, and Ulu Cliffhouse has finally met the demand. Situated in its own spot, north of Uluwatu, the beach club has sweeping views out over the ocean and along the spectacular coast that hugs this part of south Bali. The design of the club is contemporary but at the same time almost retro, with blue and white striped sun loungers with matching umbrellas. As it’s situated on the cliff, it doesn’t have the easiest access to the beach, but there’s a stunning swimming pool for all to enjoy. Food-wise you’ve got a great choice, from shrimp and avocado ceviche to classic burgers and pizzas. Cool cocktails include ‘son of a beach’ with gin, pomello and rosemary or spiced mango daiquiri. It’s a great place to hang out at any time of the day, although sunset is when it really hits the spot. Day beds can be booked in advance online – sign me up!" - Anna Chittenden
Neighbourhood spotlight: Uluwatu, Bali - SilverKris
"A cliffside pool-and-deck venue with palm trees and stringed lights that delivers romantic sunset views of the Indian Ocean and a mid-century aesthetic nodding to Palm Beach. The cocktail program leans into local flavors — for example, a coconut-water riff on a classic topped with flamed coconut meringue and a roasted pineapple margarita finished with pineapple foam — and international DJs regularly turn the pool deck into an open-air nightlife spot." - Lane Nieset
Super relaxing, chill vibes, delicious food and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this place to chill our for a few hours enjoying the pool and relaxed atmosphere. Very reasonable prices for food and drink (when most pool clubs in Bali are now wanting $$$ with very high minimum spends). Would love to return.

Had the most wonderful experience at Ulu Cliffhouse. It was so good at dinner we decided to come back the next day at sunset. Our waitress, Novi, was AMAZING! She was attentive, kind and had many good suggestions on what to do in the area. The food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The view was beautiful overlooking the cliff and the water.

The food was lovely. It was extremely hard to get staff’s attention as a solo diner. They were extremely attentive to the group beside me but pretty much ignored me. I wanted to have dessert but couldn’t get anyone’s attention to order it after I specifically ask for the menu again to order dessert and decided to just call it a night and had to get up and walk up to staff to ask for the cheque.

Awesome view of the ocean. Paid $700k minimum for a day bed. We were there for about 3 hours. Pool was pretty murky and dirty unfortunately, but otherwise, I enjoyed it. Got the lobster roll and spicy tuna rolls which were really good!

The service here is top notch. We were a walk in for dinner and they treated us like staying guests, such a great view. Food was outstanding too.

Avoid this place like the plague. Prices are extraordinary high while portions are minute. The 3 small pork ribs cost 200,000, While the mashed potatoes on the side cost 75,0000 extra before 20% tax and service fee. A bottle of water costs 72,600. What a rip off.
