Ulu Winery

One of the best balanced wines I have had so far in israel. Mellow tannins and very palatable especially there rose and there reserve. The owners of the winery were wonderful. Sat down with them and spoke about the wine. Great atmosphere and easy to get to especially on a scooter. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place. But that’s where it ends. The service was chaotic and messy. Prices are quite high, so you would expect a classy experience, but that just wasn’t the case. We got dirty cups, we had to beg the staff to take our order l, that they kept forgetting…. and on top of that the environment was extremely noisy due to loud music. The manager was lovely and apologized for the bad service we received. We got chocolate cake on the house. And yet, the waitress THREW the spoons on our table in a spiteful manner, not making any eye contact. It was so uncomfortable, made us feel like very unwelcome.

Koren is wonderful, suggesting the best taste that we can taste. The place was fantastic. We’re looking forward to come early in the morning next time 🍷

A charming place open with a very special view. Buy wine and cheese from the store and sit outside. Prices for wine and cheese are very high, about 155 shekels per bottle.
