Google
Been here multiples times now, This place is heaven for plant-based eaters that’s actually healthy for you! Don’t have to worry about it all being fake meats! We love that they create recipes mainly based on local, organic and actual WHOLE foods. We loved everything we tried! Everything tasted homemade and not from packages. Also great customer service, Thank you!!

Google
If I could give Umeke Market a higher rating I would! I came across them when searching for vegan food on vacation and was blown away by how flavorful and creative each dish was! It was so good I made sure to come back again before my flight home. Definitely would recommend stopping here for breakfast or lunch, you will not be disappointed!

Google
I love this place. Rather breakfast or lunch.. there’s always something good at Umeke Market. It’s a healthy choice with great tasting food. Along side their great menu option, they serve daily specials weekly. Their cinnamon roll is HUGE !! Definitely, my go to place now.

I typically don't seek out Vegetarian restaurants but I heard good things and wanted to check them out. I ordered the soup and salad and was very surprised how much I enjoyed it. The detox soup was excellent and would definitely recommend eating here if you're looking for something healthier during lunchtime downtown.

The staff were super cool; and once my friend disclosed his gluten allergy, he made sure to reiterate what items were cleared. I don’t have a gluten allergy and ordered nachos topped with chili and mock chicken. The “chicken” had a bit of sweetness to the batter, the chili was delicious, and the other sauces and toppings brought together a unique flavor for nachos. These were some of the best nachos I’ve had! The portion was huge; enough for two to share! I’ll definitely stop by Umeke on a future trip to the city.

Just across the street of my hotel, I found this little jewel of plant based deliciousness. I had the spinach dhal, a salad and a handful falafels. All that for only $13.50. Friendly staff and great music. Lots of choices and all plant based. The majority of dishes were Gluten Free. Will be back, for sure.

After discovering this place my first day in town on a work trip, I came back every day during my stay. Couldn't get enough of this place and I crave it still back in Oregon. The dal and curry combo with rice..... the smoothies (literally all top tier)..... the friendly and joyous and patient staff!!! Truly I would live at this place if I could. Thank you for feeding me everyday while in town!

Google
Definitely recommend Umeke! Not pictured is the cinammon roll that we ate too quickly to take a picture of - must order!

Yelp
I am so grateful this place exists. I feel the aloha just as much in the meal I enjoyed today as I did when I first tried Umeke Market years ago. Aloha is in the service and the ambiance. This place is a gem that is worth making the trip to downtown earlier in the day. Mahalo for being here! My only recommendation would be to get spill-proof containers for the liquid foods. My plate lunch was leaking all over on the way home

Yelp
Great place, great food and super friendly staff. The special today (Tues) was the Tamale Bake. Oh my!!! If you ever come when it's available, you should try it- now that's if you love cornbread. It comes with a side of salad or rice or half of both. The prices are reasonable for vegan restaurant. We will come again. Tip: as a visitor, I didn't know where to park. They suggested ALI'I PLACE. See my picture for parking address.

Yelp
I haven't been Umeke for a while and just thinking about it yesterday; I decided to try today's special when I woke up this morning. I rarely eat out alone because foods just taste better at home. But I have a few places that I would go and enjoy dishes that I don't usually eat or new dishes that I don't even know it exists. This place has everything I care about. They use local organic fresh produce supports local, sustainable lifestyle; and yes, most importantly anything I had so far, very tasty. I haven't try any breakfasts so that's my next list of things to explore. It's very reasonably priced for the quality you get. Plenty of seating spaces inside and outside of the shop. It's usually busy when I go there, but as the line gets longer, someone comes out and take your order before you reach the cashier. You can order online and request the time of pickup as well. Highly recommend to try if you haven't yet.

Yelp
Nice, friendly workers. Didn't realize it was a vegan place until I looked at the menu. The ambience was super chill and there was AC and a decent sized dining area. The plates were huge! I shared two entrees with a friend, the falafel gyro came with cashew queso and chips and then the nachos with chili and veggies and mock chicken. It was really interesting, if you're a vegan you're gonna love this place! If you've never had vegan food, I think you'll like it but you might not LOVE it. The mock chicken was good, my friend didn't care for the texture, I thought it was delish. I also really like the cashew queso. I thought the falafel gyro was kinda dry and would've been bomb with that cashew queso inside. All in all, I thought this place was great and I'd visit again to try other things from the menu. If you're looking for a healthy, cool (AC) place to sit down for lunch in downtown this is it. I also wanna try their smoothies next time!

Yelp
Wow! Rarely can you combine healthy and delicious in the same sentence but this store is amazingly delicious and incredibly healthy! The staff are full Of Aloha and their prices are in line with reality! Not to mention, they're perfectly located for everyone downtown to be here to pick up or eat in the café style restaurant this class enclosed. Hope to see you here someday.!

Yelp
Been going to this amazing `Āina based , vegan food, plant based restaurant shop for a while now whenever I'm in Honolulu Hawaii I make it a point to grab some lunch . Ambiance is simple and easy to order and get your food quick which I love . Made fresh in the back or order from the amazing buffet. Always fast friendly service . Love how they serve a lot of tradition Hawaiian food . Kalo stew and anything with Ulu i definitely go for . Can't wait to go back . Parking can be a little tricky I need to find out where the garage parking is .

Yelp
Folks, these owners are 20 years ahead. God bless them for advocating for our health and having the strength to run a restaurant. Amazing. I think they are motiavted by "doing the right thing". Jen and Rob not only feed you food that is organic and/or local, but they feed you digestable food, food that actually assimilates in the body. This comes from careful preparation. For example, there is more easily available Calcium and Magnesium in greens and beans than you can imagine Everytime my wife and I stop in Honolulu, we eat both breakfast and lunch here. AND WE FEEL GREAT afterwards. Keep it up and may your business flourish! Excited to see what you all do in the future

Yelp
Don't just enjoy the rainbow you can fill your health with it as well... Located in Bishop Square 'Umeke Market is 100% Vegan offering Breakfast (8am-10am) Lunch (1030am-2pm) with everything from Salads, Sandwiches, Nachos & Tacos, even Build Your Own Plate Lunch all which is quite overwhelming my indecisive noggin so I did go for the Portabella Sandwich. This yummy sandwich is loaded with diced portabella mushrooms which was marinated in balsamic sauce and topped with tomato lettuce, vegenaise and dairy-free provolone all on your choice of ciabatta roll, multi-grain bread or pita bread. All sandwiches comes with choice of organic greens or organic tortilla chips & queso (which is made from cashews) I got mine on a multigrain with chips & queso. I tell you what a delightful bite so light yet full of flavor I savored each and every bite...though whenever it didn't fall apart lol! It's not the large portabella cap but baby Bella mushrooms so the choice of pita may be the way to keep it all contained as if it didn't keep falling out the leaf lettuce was a difficult bit which I though since the mushrooms are in bits wished the lettuce was shredded to make it an easier bite. Though I'm not vegan I do fully enjoy the freshness it all brings and I wasn't used to the cashew queso and after a few bites was craving some fresh salsa that I know would've paired best with the mushroom sandwich. Certainly parking is a challenge in this neighborhood and parking at Ali'i Place is recommended. There's so much going on here including art decor on the wall is for sale as well. The staff here is so enthusiastic and friendly, please follow them on Instagram at @umekemarket and if pictures are worth a thousand words it would leave you breathless... Thank you!

Yelp
Downtown lunch options are essential to "loving your job." Right?! Bored with lunch and the workday may not be so wonderful. Tried this spot for the first time. I am not vegan. I appreciate the vegan lifestyle. This place is delicious!!! I was with two friends for lunch, hours are open until 2pm. Great menu options, and we peeked online before visiting, so we had an idea of what to order. They gave great recommendations! Pictures don't tell the yummy story, so go try this spot. Salty, so I did feel thirsty later, but it's worth it. The forks broke. They said it was an issue with the batch received.

Yelp
This was our first stop after landing at the airport. It took us a second to find the place, google maps confused the location. We were greeted by friendly smiles and were give. an explanation of the foods featured that day. Some of the items were prepared behind the counter and others were made to order. My daughter enjoyed the Super Taco. The grilled burrito was very nice. The nachos were good and a very large serving. We enjoyed the falafel and brown rice as well. The cinnamon bun was nice. The place is better suited for take out. The dining area didn't have water, access to utensils and wasn't as inviting as the front of the restaurant. Overall a nice place for a quick lunch bite.

Yelp
This little restaurant is 100% vegan. I'm love me some meat and some rice. But when I tell you the smell of the food when you walk in smells so delicious it's no lie LOL The ambiance is open, brightly lit, with ample seating and lots of good local music and the service is always great and full of aloha! My go-to is always the super tacos. Crispy, deep fried taco shells with lentil beans, cilantro cream, cashew queso and cubed veggies on top. Noooo regrets what so ever and it always tastes so delicious that I don't even miss the meat :P Great place to eat for lunch with an awesome variety that won't disappoint and I always am full at the end. Give a shot, definitely.

Yelp
I wish this location had even more open hours, but every time I'm able to stop by, it's a tasty experience! The vegan nachos are my favorite & I recommend them with the lentils topping ^_~* There are many great options to try here & the staff is always so nice. I feel lucky there's a great vegan place like this in the downtown area!

Yelp
I fly to Kona once a week for work and I found my spot to eat everyyyyyy single time I'm there. I only got to try the Hawaiian style poke and boneless kalbi and holy guacamole it was so ono! The parking lot is free and tons of free parking, the seating is nice and they offer both inside and outside seating. The service was excellent. I think they were training today because a girl was just following the guy that took my order. That's really good for training purposes instead of throwing them to the wolves lol. I'm trying the fish tacos next time and I'll keep updating my meal pictures lol. Def would recommend for all locals and tourist alike!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great vegan food! They have an excellent mix of dishes like spinach daal and mock Korean chicken (fake chicken). You order at the counter, and the portions are huge. I got 2 choices (2 mains) plus a side and I honestly should've stuck with 1. Granted if you want leftovers, order more and go wild. I highly recommend the spinach daal and the kalo coconut curry. It's quick and easy to get your food, only takes a few minutes and you won't regret it!

Yelp
We walked in and was greeted with the Aloha Spirit and beautiful smiles. We were first timers and tried the nachos, burrito, Tofu Poke and mixed grinds.. It was so good I didn't get to take a picture of the burrito. We felt full and satisfied. The sitting area is nice they have local music playing. When you leave they greet you on your way out too. They have trash and recycling bins which is awesome.

Yelp
If you're in search of tasty, healthy plant-based food, go to Umeke Market Natural Foods & Deli. It's located in downtown Honolulu (entrance is closer to Hotel & Alakea Street corner of Tamarind Square). There were a few customers ahead of me, allowing time to view the menu and entrees. As part of this year's Restaurant Week food-a-gogo, there were 3 offerings. Picked the kalo coconut curry which came with one side. They are so nice to allow half brown rice and half salad; balsamic dressing was sooooo good! What a great lunch: good tasting and good for you! Planning return visit to try kalo stew, portobello sandwich, and baked falafel.

Yelp
Such friendly owners and the food is always amazing! I love the nachos and tofu scramble! Gf options.

Yelp
It has been a while since I decided to pay a visit to this place and now I am rethinking my decisions on my selections for lunch. `Umeke Market provides one of the healthiest meals your can have while you power through the work day. Offering meatless options that not only fulfills the healthy nutrition you body needs but comes with a good amount of flavors that you wouldn't think the plants would provide! The meals that they offer are always fresh, delicious and doesn't make me feel so groggy after eating, which is a good thing because we all know about those afternoon crashes (yikes)! My usual go-to meals are the falafel gyro and kalo coconut curry. Both provides the right amount of food filled with savory, sweet, umami flavor. Did I mention that all of these are fresh?! The service here is always great. The staff here are always friendly and helpful when making your selections. As of right now, they are not open for dine in so it's all take-out. Overall, this place is great. A perfect alternative option than meats that will blow your mind and taste buds.

Yelp
Need to stay in the area long enough to try everything on the menu! Food is 'ono (delicious)! Staff are friendly and embody aloha! Clean and bright atmosphere!

Yelp
A hidden gem in downtown Honolulu, this plant-based restaurant has a great variety dishes for fair pricing! The staff is also very kind and helpful, and the inside is well-kept and clean. I have been twice, and enjoyed everything I bought!

Yelp
I had a chance on two separate occasions to order the tofu scramble with brown rice and roasted potatoes with all cashew queso and their hot sauce. I have to say it was the best breakfast I had in a long time. I have always been a fan for health eating and this place manages to do that and more. To provide a healthy vegan breakfast that is also delicious and satisfying. The service was also amazing. They're great conversationalists and very polite. I totally recommend at least going there for breakfast. You will not be disappointed. Their curry is also great but I have to say their tofu scramble is by far their best entree.

Yelp
I haven't been to Umeke for sometime and wanted no meet. I ordered a combo of Curry (carrots, taro, potatoes, onions, coconut milk) and taro with taro leaves with rice...salad. The curry was awesome with tender taro and carrots which can take long to tenderize? But, it was perfect and delicious. This is my favorite in this combination. However, the luau (taro leaves) with taro was seasoned much. If they added coconut milk, it would be killer. Taro doesn't have a distinct flavor like stew meat which can flavor those leaves. That's why Hawaiians add coconut milk which I will be adding. Luau is healthy...even with coconut milk. The salad and brown rice goes very well with curry. All in all, I will return for that curry and will do two curries in that combo order. Much aloha and be safe!!!
google avatar

Carolina F.

Yelp
Amazing flavors and great setup with the build-your-own plate. Definitely a must try! The only inconvenience was the hours as we tried to visit a few times before but never made it before 2 pm.
google avatar

Kiana C.

Yelp
The food at Umeke Market exceeded all my expectations! Sometimes, vege/vegan restaurants are pretty good but not quite as good as the real thing. Some of their entree options tasted better than their regular meat counterparts IMO. The plate lunches give a good portion. I got a three choice with half salad half rice (I love that they do that as well, because sometimes you want rice to soak up your meal but also want some veggies). The star was the kalo stew (also known as taro luau, or squid luau without the squid). The stewed kalo leaves were delicious and it had a great coconut flavor. The pono chili tasted as good as regular chili, except occasionally there would be a big "soy meat" chunk in there which was really my only issue with the meal I purchased. The red lentils were also 10/10 from a flavor standpoint. Also, their kalo cinnamon bun was one of the best buns I've had. It tasted better than a regular cinnamon bun w/ cream cheese frosting, and it's all vegan! I would eat 10 of these! They also sell these day old buns for a discount price at the cashier area. Would highly recommend this place for vegans and meat eaters alike :)

Yelp
I'm from Maui, where vegan dining options are very limited -- mostly food trucks and tiny cafes. Umeke is a godsend. Good food, reasonable prices and generous portions. A variety dishes to choose from in a pleasant downtown environment.
google avatar

Aloha A.

Yelp
If your looking for a good vegan spot I highly recommend Umeke market! There food is amazing and so Ono! The best thing about it is it's healthy! I had there tofu poke and let me tell you it tasted just like ahi poke just a different in texture from the fish and tofu. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The seating area is nice and clean and the vibe is great! Good job umeke market!
google avatar

Yvette L.

Yelp
Want that umami mouthful of food for a happy and full meal experience? How about having your meal leaving you feeling light and replenished, rather than heavy and stuffed? You will find that at Umeke Market! Let me tell you about their taco salad! The taco schmeat is really tasty! I have no idea how they turn nuts and spices into something that goes with greens and chips, but they do a darn good job. I get it with hot sauce on the side. If you want tacos, OMG their fried taco shell stuffed with greens and taco schmeat is a win, too. I love love love the luau leaves in coconut milk. It's awesome on the brown (or white) rice. My friend ordered the veggie chili and although I've not had it yet, it sure looked good. They have a lot of items on their menu including several kick-butt artisanal smoothies. Those are on the pricey side but one taste and you'll know why. I recommend a smoothie for lunch if you're trying to go the easy digestible food route or avoid bulky foods. It fills you up!

Pamela L.

Yelp
Food is delicious, highly recommend the nacho you will not be disappointed. Everything is tasty and portions are massive.

Yelp
Delicious, healthy food prepared and served by a friendly family run business. The ulu stew is my favorite

Zaneta O.

Yelp
So, I normally eat here, when I wanna feel like eating "healthier". Today they had on special, baked flautas. It was a bit pricey, but it did come with 3 nice sized flautas with beans and rice. It also came with guacamole, some sauces, I think a cashew sour cream, pickled onion and jalapeño. I was hungry and frankly I thought it would taste like cardboard. It did not taste like cardboard, of course there's the difference between fried and baked but it was a tasty plate. The heartiness of the beans and rice, creaminess of the guacamole and sour cream, with a little punch of vinegar of the picked onions and jalapeños made for several good bites. I almost always get a kalo cinnamon bun for snack or breakfast for the next day. Nice and cinnamon-ny.
google avatar

Jenna B.

Yelp
This spot has everything you would cook at home in your very own vegan kitchen. Home cook dishes such as red beans and chili with vegan sour cream, delicious how cook cinnamon rolls and so much more. This is a great spot with indoor and outdoor dinning. I enjoyed the food so much that I will return before ending my trip. Sorry my pics don't look great, it's bc I started eating and realized I needed to take pics for my review. Food was so good I couldn't wait to dig in and start eating

Yelp
In the midst of this pandemic, I'm very happy this restaurant is open! I'm always looking for healthier alternatives and this place provided. I honestly searched 'healthy lunch' on yelp, which is how I found this lovely restaurant. I ordered through their online website to avoid the waiting time and had no issues with the process. The location was easy to locate and if you're working in downtown, it's best to walk! I ordered the 3 choice combo: * Mock Korean Fried Chicken - Crispy, tasty, and definitely does mock the fried chicken! I was surprised at how much I liked this because I normally don't like korean fried chicken because I feel it's either too saucy or too heavy. But this was great! * Pono Chili - This was a little on the sweet side so I wished I had brought my small hot sauce! But it was still good with the bits of groundless beef. * Kalo Stew - A great take on the squid luau! I loved this but I didn't like the texture of the Kalo cubes, but the flavors were all there. I also bought the cinnamon roll as well as the chocolate chip cookies! These were so good, I wish I bought more for later. Will I be back? Most definitely!

Yelp
With no where to park, but the parking structure next door. You kind of have a lot of trouble to go with to eat here if you're not working in the area. To top it off, they don't even validate your parking. 10.50$ for an hour of parking. Ouch! So we basically spend 50$ to eat here overall. Too pricy! The food is organic, which is awesome. The variety is so-so, everything is vegan and the sauces taste great. The best thing here is probably the smoothies. The Korean"chicken" is way too hard to even consume. We were seriously contemplating if our teeth were going to break. Exchanged for the curry~ The curry is good, but watery with mild flavor. It's good with the brown rice, but it doesn't just come with it. The side salad is pretty simple, but again the dressings are good. The place seemed pretty busy, but the food was bland tasting. Overall, wouldn't go here too hard to get there, blan flakey dried up cinnamon roll, chicken, and falafels. If you're vegan and you can't find something else to eat then probably a good spot, but as a last resort.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was delicious. Prices are great, portions are big. Cinnamon rolls is sooo good I'll be back fo sho

Yelp
Umeke market is my favorite place to eat near my office. They offer food that not only tastes good, but it makes you feel good too. Lots of vegan options. There's something for everyone her. I usually get the detox soup or the nachos (I love the bowls they serve when you eat in instead of take out). Today I received an email with the coupon for veggie pancit plate lunch. I had to get that! It was so flavorful and light. They offer side options too as part of the meal. I opted for steamed veggies. They let you choose the amount of sauce too, you can add more, but it's good on its own as well. I get hot sauce and jalapeños on top - my rule is whenever the person making your order offers extras like that just say yes as it's gonna make the fish that much better. The to go containers are compost able and made from recyclable materials. Love it here, I come back at least once a week.

Yelp
By far one of the most filling and refreshing meals I've ever had! I enjoyed the mini set with the day's special, Mama T's Black Bean Enchiladas with a side of rice while my boyfriend's had the mixed plate set, which was stop filling he could even finish! I can say they have something for everyone, in vegetarian form, so you can't go wrong here! What I love best is that it's full of flavor and not at all bland like some places that are for the vegetarians nor full of mushrooms so I can have as much as I want! Definitely going to be coming back in my lunch break, hopefully I will be able to get a smoothie next time..and that they'll make it without the banana
google avatar

Kaycee O.

Yelp
I have three words, "korean fried chicken." So good. So so good. I got a 4 choice bowl and shared it. It was more than enough food and I enjoyed everything I had. Unfortunately I don't remember exactly what I had, it was lunch time and I was rushing to get back. I'll definitely be going there more often as it's across the street from my office. It's more than I'd normally spend for lunch but it's worth it and shows you that being vegan is more than just salads!
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
Why didn't I try this place years ago??? Don't be like me by waiting so long to try this place, Umeke is definitely a must for that local "plate lunch" experience...vegan style. I ordered the 4 options 1 side vegan plate and I sure didn't know what I was in for. This was a HUGE value for the price. I probably could have ordered a smaller plate but it was nice to try a variety of things. Everything was delicious except the thing I've added "-" to below: + Pono Chilli + Kalo Coconut Curry + Jackfruit and Cabbage - Ulu Spinach Dal
google avatar

Yelp
Great service Great food And the best cinnamon rolls Rolls are not available until 10:30am M-f U HAVE to try one

Yelp
Ohhh maaah gawd! I loved the food here! I took EVERY suggestion the employees had to offer. Such amazing aloha hospitality! I wish there was another place out here. I tried the Korean chicken which was complimented with the sauce it came with. Superb is the word! And then the curry, my mouth watered just now as I think about it. It all goes great with brown rice! A special on the menu was this chowder soup and bread, my FAVORITE! I dunno what they put in it but they should keep doing what they're doing! I suggest vegans and non-vegans give this place a try! It's super filling too! I almost forgot about the lau lau! I didn't expect it to be so delicious! Don't wait, get going and try it!

Yelp
Typically, office tendencies would encompass a ton of snacking am I right, or am I right? So a dose of Umeke would leverage the unhealthy snacking consumption that happens during the weekdays. Honestly, this place is an absolute gem with the friendliest people you'll ever meet! For those who haven't had vegan food, Umeke is that good that you might be converted to become a vegan or vegetarian! On the other hand, their servings are so generous, but you won't be left feeling overstuffed after which is a plus! Here are my top three favorite picks: Korean Mock Chicken: I know this might sound questionable to my meat eater foodies, but trust me on this. The mock chicken greatly resembles like actual chicken and the texture when you bite into it, it's just like the actual thing! What really makes this one of my top favorite picks would be the Korean sauce. The chicken is dressed in a sweet glaze that is so crispy and sticky; and it left me dumbfounded knowing that this is not actual meat! This was the beginning of my obsession with Umeke Market. Mama T's Enchilada: Features Local taro and organic black beans rolled in organic tortillas with a savory organic enchilada sauce. Don't forget to ask for the organic cashew queso. Yes you heard me, a vegan queso. There's a spicy kick in every bite, but the enchilada literally melts in your mouth. Also, you can only get this on Fridays! Kalo Cookies: These are so addicting. Once upon a time, I went to Umeke, every-single-weekday for these babies that are gluten free! Here are some tips: They have an array of options to choose from, and if you go before 11:45, you can get the mini (1 Option and a side of greens or rice) or regular lunch plate (2 Options and a side of greens and rice) at early bird prices! Sign up for their email newsletters to see the daily specials: Whether it be their kalua jack and cabbage or their delicious kalo musubis. They're located on Bishop, on the complete opposite end of the American Savings Bank building (the old one). For those unfamiliar of the area, the best place to park would be the Ali'I Place.

Yelp
I got the breakfast burrito and the mama smoothie. It was so good! I'm not vegan but I might be now. Right when I walked in I was greeted with a smile, and you can tell that they make their food with love and care. Everything was perfect! I will be a regular now. Thank you umeke market!

Yelp
You won't find a place in Honolulu with more affordable and delicious food then here. The staff is wonderful and as friendly as any place I've been in Hawaii. I found myself coming back every single morning for the breakfast sandwiches. Top notch service and amazing food. Thank you Umeke Market!

Yelp
This is a great lunch place on the weekdays during work! My all time favorite is the taco salad! They're nachos are also amazing! Sometimes I'll do half half. Service- they're very friendly and always very fast! Food- delicious!!! I am not vegan or vegetarian but this food is just so tasty! Their chili and taco meat is to die for! I'm pretty sure I could feed it to my boyfriend and he would never know it didn't have meat. Instagram worthy- they normally use bright colors on the sale. It's a great tasting plate lunch and that's all that matters! Would I add it to my go to list? It already is on my list! I look forward to Tuesday's for taco salad and the last time I was there I had the kalua jack and cabbage, not disappointed!

Yelp
This review is for Umeke Market: Kalo Stew, Pono Chili, Korean Mock Chikn, Oahu Colada: all excellent + would order again! Too bad they're closed on weekends, would visit more often.

Yelp
Perfect spot to grab a quick lunch during a workday! Service is always fast with tons of options to choose from. Neither vegan nor vegetarian, I come here often because the food is just so yummy! My favorites are the curries and mock Korean chicken. Their breakfast oatmeal is made with coconut milk and is very tasty too! If you go before 11:45, you can get the mini or regular lunch plate at early bird prices--which are about a dollar or so cheaper than the regular prices!

Yelp
Today I had their breakfast sandwich and it was so good! I am not vegan, this sandwich tricked me into thinking I was eating a breakfast sandwich with meat. It filled me up and I also felt good knowing what I ate was good food for my body. I've had lunch items there, too. They're always good, but this breakfast sandwich was divine.
