Small but pretty gallery, very nice lady at the cashier, definitely worth a visit if you have time (it's one floor so you can walk through it in 30 minutes)

UGM is a little art museum that you can walk through in under one hour. The entry fee is very cheap, and if you're looking for souvenirs in Maribor: there is a museum shop with artsy postcards, tote bags and other things.

This is a remarkable gallery with bold presentation of a good mix of work, all of really high quality. There are paintings, sculptures and other more modern works. None of the work on display is lazy or predictable. It has a slightly surreal, theatrical feel to the rooms (some of which work better than others), but overall I would highly recommend this place.

Maribor Gallery offers a truly pleasant and visually engaging experience, showcasing the work of local artists in a beautifully curated exhibition. The arrangement is superb! Dozens of artworks (mostly paintings) are thoughtfully displayed in a way that allows them to interact with each other and the space that is not your average white walls (finally!). It’s clear that a skilled curator was behind it all; without that kind of vision and expertise, it simply wouldn’t have come together so seamlessly. Well worth a visit!

Quite a small gallery. €3 to enter. When we visited there was an exhibition up stairs and a smaller one on the main floor. A gallery staff member followed us around to each room which made it awkward and less enjoyable to appreciate the art. For this reason I give it 3 stars

Beautiful collection of Slovenian illustrations. Wondered here randomly because it was the Museum night, and I wish I could have stayed here the entire night.

It's small galery exposing local artist. Would be nice to have more desciption of individual pictures and sculptures thou. Recommend for short visit, not expensive. Does not seem to have air condition. But it wasn't too warm.
