What a little gem in Huanchaco. Amazing Peruvian food with an oriental twist or isn’t the other way around? I don’t know, I only know that if you’re around please do yourself a favor and try Umi sushi house. Fair prices, great service and chefs treating all dishes to detail.

really delicious and creative sushi rolls - i recommend the ceviche roll and the summer roll, both were superb and unique. you will have to knock on the door to enter but once inside, there’s a nice and friendly atmosphere. definitely a hidden gem!

Amazing sushi! We were blow away with the flavor and quality of the sushi. Please note that the closed door does not mean it's not open, simply knock and they will like you into this hidden jem! We are leaving tomorrow, but I would return if we had more time!

I only have good things to share about Umi! The service was exceptional and I was recommended 3 rolls that were delicious and featured different fresh seafood. For drink I had a pisco sour and a sierra nevada mama killa and it paired perfectly with what I ate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. would definitely recommend!

Fantastic sushi spot! We came back a second time to try a couple other dishes and were not disappointed. The spicy tuna and spicy Kari were both amazing. We have a lot of sushi restaurants in Vancouver and the flavours here are top notch in comparison.
