Umicoza Diving School

We just had two amazing diving days with Umicoza. Everything was very well organized and the equipment already perfectly prepared for us. The crew created a wonderful atmosphere for everyone. We felt very comfortable, safe and sound. We can highly recommend this diving school. Especially if your Japanese is lacking as ours, that’s not a problem as the dive instructors speaking English very well.

- I was amazed by how great the service was in Umicoza. - From preparing gear, transporting gear, changing oxygen cylinder and putting on the gear, staffs from Umicoza will assist you all along. - When we were resting on the boat, we were provided with drinks, towels and fresh water, it felt heart warming. - Although we paid for camera loan to take pictures our own, but Umicoza staff will also use their own camera to take picutures for us (including those who don't have camera) and sent back to us without extra payment. - We saw 3 Mantas at the cleaning staition, amazing. - It was a unique and worthwhile experience to us.

Chise and her colleagues made our diving trip a really memorable experience. Chise is a diving instructor who will actually want you to learn so Umicoza is not a school that will do everything for you (preparing gear etc) although they are very helpful and communicating. Chise also took us home as we didn’t have a car and stayed on a remote part if the island. Lunch in their garden was also very fun. Thanks Umicoza diving school!

Really good diving school ! English speaking instructors and well equipment. We had chance to see great sea life like turtle, squid, shark etc

It was a great experience! The hospitality was excellent, the staff were kind and helpful. We came as a group of 6, and they were kind enough to prepare veg lunch specially for the vegetarian people. Pickup and drop off also provided. I’d definitely choose Umicoza again!

I did 3 fun dives on 2 different days. Had an amazing experience. Very nice and experienced team and few divers! Great lunch. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing 3 dives experience with Umicoza, wonderful instructors who speak English well, no need to worry about language barrier at all, every detail of the dive from pick up to gear to boat to photography to lunch bento are all well organised, 100% recommend and we had a great day thank you! 😃
