Dont question if you should come here or not. Itll be the best decision you make. Every meal is made to be absolutely delicious. Im not typically one for pork belly, but here at this place I am. For my entree, I had a fried avocado taco and its going to be hard to not order that again next time because it was so good. My husband ordered the fun guy burger which was yummy! (Im not one for mushrooms, but I liked them in this burger!) The staff was great. You want to feel like youre the center of attention, eat here. You will be so well taken care of. Uncle Chop may even greet you himself! We are now customers for life at this fine establishment. Excited for our next visit!

This place was built with passion, experience, and care. It’s more than food, it’s an experience. Uncle Chop’s Food Court is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the Valley. I had the opportunity to talk with the owner, a retired firefighter with a fine-dining background, and it shows immediately. His burger recipe is a custom, multi-generational family recipe, and he personally handles the food. Everything is homemade with intention. The only thing not made in-house are the buns, which are brought in from Houston and still feel fresh and locally sourced. The service model here is exceptional. The servers work as a team and share tables and tasks, which creates a very holistic experience. You are never waiting on one person. Our cups were never empty, not once, and service felt constant without being intrusive. The food was outstanding. No exaggeration, no hype. Every single bite delivered. The mac and cheese balls were perfect. The pork belly was extremely well executed, paired beautifully with jelly. The burger honestly looked like art, the kind of “ideal burger” you’d see in a food photo shoot, and it tasted even better than it looked. We sat inside because it was a bit chilly, but there is plenty of outdoor seating and they’ve thought ahead with heaters placed around the tables. The space is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We were here with our 2-year-old, and she was absolutely welcome. The positive environment made it easy for her to behave and enjoy being there too, which says a lot about the atmosphere.

My husband and I went for our first time here and the food was amazing! So good we forgot to get pictures before digging in lol We had the brussel sprouts appetizer which is a MUST HAVE, the salmon burger, and a pizza. The salmon burger was HUGE and my husband loved the Fresno chile peppers it came with as well as the sweet potato fries. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

The food was amazing and had great flavor! I got the panela cheese appetizer and the salmon keto bowl. The food came out quick and was delicious. Only "complaint" is that on the menu the keto bowl says $16 for the keto bowl and your choice of sea food but I was charged the $16 for the keto bowl and an extra $4 for the salmon. Other than that absolutely no complaints. The salmon was delicious and they serve large portions. Will definitely come back.

Every time I’ve been to Uncle Chops, the customer service has been amazing, and the food keeps me coming back for more. The Boss Hog Burger is absolutely next level.. stacked with a juicy beef patty, shredded brisket, bacon, and pork belly. It’s the kind of burger that makes you want to bring all your friends just so they can try it. I keep telling myself I’m going to order the keto bowl one of these days… but I always go back to the burger. Not once have I been disappointed. I’ve seen friends order everything from pizza to tacos, and everything that comes out of that kitchen looks incredible. What really stands out, though, is the staff. I feel like I’ve been helped by just about everyone there at some point, and they all work together as a team. There’s never an “that’s not my table” attitude, just great service all around. If there’s one must-order item besides the burger, it’s the mac and cheese balls. Don’t skip them!

Top notch food drink and service! We will be back! I had two hybiscus martinis and a keto bowl. My husband had a brick oven pizza Higo de su madre! Fantastic! Desert was home made! Yes!!! You will love this dining experience!! A must try for sure!!

Taco was pretty good. Hostess was not as attentive even though I was the only one there. But she did have good communication skills and answered my questions.

I’ve ate at this place three times since finding out about it two weeks ago. That should tell all you need to know about how amazing this restaurant is. The salmon keto bowl is worth all the hype and their burgers are just as fantastic. We loved everything about this place; the atmosphere, the music, the service, and especially the food. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive every time.

Great atmosphere, great food and service. Ample seating inside and additional seating outside. Bathrooms are clean too.

The service was great. There was ten of us and we were well taken care of. The food was pretty decent but the prices were too high for what you received. It's not a place that any of us will come back to.

A hidden gem for sure!! They have pizza, seafood, burgers. Service was amazing, the staff was always checking up on us. The food we ordered was all 10/10, sooo amazing. We will 100% be coming back. The restaurant is extremely well kept and clean.

Food is most important to me when dining and Uncle Chops did not disappoint. Macaroni balls were super delis, burgers and onion rings were very tasty as well. Even the pizza was very good! Margs on point. Ambiance nice and conducive to table conversation. Service was good. Highly recommend!

Delicious salmon keto bowl. I ate the whole thing! Fried crispy Brussels sprouts, apple carrot slaw /side of greens. All the flavors marry well together and the salmon was crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside.

Really great food! Recently discovered this place and have visited twice. So far have been impressed with the food and ambiance. Have tried the burger, pizza and tacos and would recommend everything, but especially the burger and pizzas. The food here is great and on par with what you would get at a popular restaurant in Austin, Dallas, or any big city. This place should be packed considering how good the food is. Benito runs a nice bar with great craft beer and wine cocktails. Will definitely continue to support this business and spread the word.

This is my favorite restaurant in Weslaco. The keto bowl with salmon is amazing. The owner always stops by to check in. Great music and service. Wonderful ambiance.

Very debonair atmosphere, the burgers are quality as well as the tacos. Best gourmet burger you'll find on this side of the valley. Very attentive service, a go-to for date night if you're looking to impress your significant other. Love to see this place finally getting the traction it deserves. 10/10

Sour dough buns are a very nice touch to the spicy burger I got. The beer selection is good, not great. The fries were perfect.

Gourmet menu, gourmet tacos, and burgers... Rare to find vegetarian options in Weslaco, Texas, or RGValkey. The Carnival food desserts menu includes multiple flavored funnel cake, fried snickers, etc. They also have a 50 person event room. Chris is a gourmet chef, Benito is one of the friendliest people I have met. They are adding a pizza oven soon, I'll be back to see what menu they have for that...

Upon our first visit definitely Uncle Chops made our "Definitely Go Back" lists of restaurants in the RGV. The food was unique and prepared such that we will be working our way through the menu at future visits.

One of my favorite places in the entire valley. Fairly priced with a great selection of food. The flavor combinations are classics and always hit the spot. I try to eat and live like Anthony Bourdain in my every day life and this place has a whole lot of heart and I can TASTE that. The service is great. Tonight, without even having to ask, our server preemptively asked to turn on the heater and added a big repellent fan to our table since we were dining outside. Initiative is everything when it comes to service, and I've never been disappointed here. The ambiance outside is also great, especially in the fall/winter at nighttime. As a foodie who doesn't care for gimmicky instagrammable places with overly processed food, this is one of the few places in Weslaco that make me proud that this is my hometown.

Come here for a great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Come here for great service. We have been here several times and always have exceptional service. Most importantly come here for the food! We had the sprouts, panela de plancha, and the Boss Hogg burger. All were 10/10. Benito is always here...tell him we sent you.

Amazing atmosphere! Service was amazing good. Our server was quick to get our order in. Also, plenty of refills. The Mac and cheese was to die for. Sadly didn't get a chance to take a picture. The boss hog was tender and smoky. 4 different kinds of meat. Beef burger, pull pork, bacon, think cut of pork belly. 9 out of 10 would recommend!

This place is LEGIT! We had the pork belly taco, chicken taco, carne asada taco, fish taco and a burger. Everything was fresh and fantastic. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is in a converted farmhouse and has a great outdoor space perfect for kids. Just a really great lunch.

Restaurant has potential. Building looks modern yet inside decor can't decide what type of place it wants to be. It isn't a food court in a traditional sense. Decor is quasi Cracker Barrel meets coffee shop. Food was ok. Burgers are way to big making them hard to eat. Veggies on burger are a big miss. Spring lettuce was ok but cherry tomatoes (2 sliced in half) didn't make any sense. Pickles were more like cucumbers soaked in a vinegarette. French fries were the best part of the meal. Seasoned perfectly and served with dipping sauce. Person in group had onion rings, said rings were very greasy. Portions were plentiful for all foods. Server was good, only complaint was he didn't listen when asked what came with the burger and gave snappy retort about veggies on burger. Food was prepared in timely manner making group very happy.

The food is good. The brisket burger bowl is good. The boss pork one was a little dry. I love that they have keto options. The Brussels are good. The waitress had super long nails and you can't really get those clean every time you use the bathroom and she touched her nose a lot so that was kind of yuck.

The first impression is very good. Parking lot and building looks clean. The ambiance is nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We had a reservation so we were seated right away. They have 5 different menus not sure why. We were given three right away. We asked for the dessert menu at this time. Did not receive it until after the meal when we asked for it again. They offer a wine menu also a daily drink special menu. They have a section listed as "Cocktails ". Under this section are a few different drinks to choose from; one being a Mojito. This is the drink I ordered. It was delivered expediently and looked appetizing. Too bad it was made with wine and not liquor; which would have been nice to know when I ordered it. As I do not like wine. We ordered our food without incident. It was delivered in an expedited amount of time. It all looked very appetizing and tasted excellent. Things are served on the spicy side. Pay attention when you order. They way they charge for things is different. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with the cheese not melted on the burger, just on the side. They were charged extra for the cheese. She asked for condiments. Ketchup,mustard and mayo and was charged extra for those. Overall it was a good experience. Would not be my first pick to go back. If someone invited us for a special occasion we would not hesitate to go back.

Loved the atmosphere and the helpful and friendly staff. We had the bowls and the burgers with the potato wedges with the sciracha sauce. Just great!

The restaurant is very nice and service is excellent. The carne asada taco was very flavorful and had tremendous amount of meat. Considering there were 12 of us we were served our food prominently and the orders were correct. I understand the 5 star ratings an agree 100 per.

Visited Uncle Chops on a whim the other day for lunch. Service was great and the Boss Hog is definitely in my top three sandwiches/burgers of all time.

We were in town visiting family and been meaning to try this out. We were not disappointed. Great food, great pizza!! Loved the pork belly!!

The food was great. Our order was well portioned and good prices. The "to the point" burger was a good size. The carne asada taco was tender. Loved the dipping sauce with the papas. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent food. Not a big menu but food was excellent food. We had the Fun Guy Burger with mushrooms and Swiss and the Friday special Fish and Chips. Both were really tasty made hot and fresh. They don't serve French fries but have quartered medium potatoes fried with a sauce on the side or on top, really good. Really quiet at 11:30 but by 12 was filled completely with mountains of orders going out the door. Did not hold up our lunch. We will be returning.

What a find! Excellent food. Friendly and efficient staff. Location is great. Atmosphere is fun. Good drink selection. Menu is different and fun. All around RGV favorite.

I don't live in the valley anymore, but anytime I am here, I try to hit this place. The food is gourmet quality and the atmosphere is awesome. I just got a PB&J Taco - the Pb stands for pork belly. Omg it was melt in your mouth good. I can't say enough good things about this place. Do yourself a favor and come try this place and I can guarantee you'll come back again and again.

Uncle Chops is a must stop if you want to experience amazing food with a neighborhood vibe. We came to visit family from LA and we were brought here and we're pleasantly surprised. Everything was top notch- the food, the service, the ambiance. I had the fun guy burger with a cold El Chingon IPA. Holy sh*t was that good! Shout out to our waiter and manager- BENITO who gave us the story of Uncle Chops and was incredibly warm and welcoming. I love seeing local spots like this thrive. I'm rooting for y'all. I'll be back in my next visit!

If you have not had a chance to make your way over and have one of the most delicious burgers...the you need to find this place ASAP. They soon will be opening up a cool venue. Also have to add their fish taco was fantastic during Lent.

Perfect place for delicious burgers if you like them perfectly cooked and seasoned. Im going back soon for tacos. Contemporary flavorful ingredients so some new things for people to try. Beer selection looks excellent!! I was just there yesterday for first time and I already want to go back. Service is top notch!

Great food and service. I have never had a chef and owner come out and ask how if our meal was satisfactory. They seem to be short handed last night but everyone was running to the tables to make sure everyone's dining experience was great. Had the fun guy burger with Brussels sprouts appetizers. They were fantastic!

First time just an hour ago. LOVE this place. Fantastic staff!! Friendly and efficient. Wonderful people. The burger was my favorite all time burger!! The potatoes are perfection! Don't forget the roasted Brussels sprouts! I could fill up on just these. Unbelievably good. Ambience? Who needs ambience in a place as good as this!! I became a new regular today.

This place is a awesome. The people are into their restaurant and take pride in what they are doing. The ground brisket burgers are top shelf and the tacos (I had the pork belly with pineapple habanero slaw) are super tasty. We also had onion rings, sweet potato fries and the potato wedges with sriracha aioli and all were yummy. This place will be one of your favorites guaranteed.
