Uncle Larry’s

The gentleman who served us was very pleasant and welcoming. Anything we asked for, he was eager to answer and was very helpful. However the lady that delivered our food had a bad attitude and when we asked for something, she yelled for someone else to get it. The food: Fried Pork chops were extremely greasy, unseasoned and the coating was falling off. The baked beans tasted like can baked beans, hot sauce was very watery. The fish was fried perfectly, however, unseasoned. The okra was ok, just tasted like frozen okra that was fried. The fountain tea and lemonade had a weird after taste. We were excited to try this establishment but was very disappointed.

Great place for a quick meal. I had the whiting plate. The fish was perfectly cooked. The slaw was a little unique. No off flavor just a little different. It was a good value for good fried fish

Larry’s has good catfish sandwiches, but unfortunately the customer service (from one woman) makes the experience unpleasant. The woman who works at the front (and answers the phone) has a terrible attitude and comes across very rude and unhelpful. It really takes away from the quality of the food. As much as I enjoyed the catfish, I wouldn’t return unless the customer service improves or they bring in someone new at the front.

We heard a lot about Uncle Larry restaurant from watching Samantha Brown travel show and some online travel sites. We stopped by Uncle Larry s and we had fish sandwichs and one pork chop sandwich. The universal option was the food is good but not great. I myself have had better tasting catfish in Mississippi. We did enjoy our fried fish with cornmeal because it is light. I also had peach cobbler which was good. The service was good with great interactions with staff and customers.

Our first time here and let me say…from start to finish, of our experience, was top notch! Treated with a warm and friendly welcome. Uncle Larry’s food speaks for itself! The Catfish took me back. A must have. Portion sizes were plentiful! A must try when in the area! And the Banana pudding cake along with the key lime are to die for! Thank you Uncle Larry and family!

I actually went to Uncle Larry's for my birthday. It was incredible. The waitress was very friendly and she came back to the table several times during our visit to make sure that we were taken care of and that we had our needs met. She also gave us an extra sauce to try out. It was their smacking sauce. Let me tell you, it was really good!!! I encourage you to check this place out. The food was wonderful and the price was just right too.

First time here, and it was an amazing experience! Had the chicken tenders but got to try some fish with the signature smack sauce. Omg I don't like fish but from here I'll eat as much as I can get. Love our waitress and got to even meet Larry himself. A must stop by spot! Will be back asap

Tuesday night was kind of slow. Service was great, food was fresh and flavorful! Our server put out just the right amount of sarcasm fun! Everything looked clean & organized. Light Christmas music played in the background. We enjoyed our dinner & will be back!
