Uncle Nam's

I had the Bún Bò Huế here and it was honestly so good. The broth was super flavourful and had that perfect little spicy kick. The beef was tender, the toppings were fresh, and the portion was actually really big. It tasted proper comforting, like a real homemade bowl. I’d definitely come back just for this.

Used to be ok before new owners took over. Serving for pho is now so much smaller - for £16 it was honestly a joke. There were easily half the amount of noodles and possibly less meat as well. Summer rolls were average - rice paper had not been soaked enough to soften meaning it was still quite tough in areas. Very disappointing as it was a decent local Vietnamese spot but will not be returning again 👎🏽👎🏽

Great custom, great food with fresh ingredients. My brother even had a lesson from the owner on how to use chopsticks. My mum had the mushroom in batter, it was amazing! Hot and sour fishcake soup was wonderful as well as vermicelli pork and summer rolls. Very nice experience. Waitress lovely too. We even had our tea topped up for free

Best Vietnamese in the area! Tonnes of veggie options, we ordered three plates of spring rolls cos we just couldn’t get enough. I loved my pho, the broth was awesome. We had to get an uber home after because we were just so full 😂

Welcoming service and warm atmosphere, yet pho was not the best I tried. Brisket was a bit too fat, also no garlic to add. Prices are quite high. Overall, a good place if caught hungry in the area.

Never had Vietnamese food before, but was well worth the try. Had a really nice experience. Even tried using the chopsticks which was fun. Loved how you are given a choice of chopsticks or knife and forks. The Chopsticks also have a small diagram and description on how to hold them on the back of the packaging. Food tasted fresh and the lady who served us was very accommodating.

I've only ever tried one thing on their menu, but it is one of my absolute favourite dishes and it keeps me and my loved ones coming back! The Chefs special Bun Bo Hue, if you’re a fan of flavourful rice noodle soups you’ll love this and the portion size is perfect. Great for when you're feeling under the weather or when it's cold and rainy (although admittedly I eat it all year round)

Delicious food, thoughtful decor, and overall great vibes. Owner made excellent recommendations. This gem was my daughter and my best dinner experience during our stay in the neighborhood. Highly recommend prawns in curry sauce with vermicelli and matcha tiramisu!

We had lunch. Nice atmosphere. The dishes were Prawn chow chow, Chicken pho and carmelised ribs.

This is surpringly good food and gthe portions are large. The bahn mi is delicious and the soring rolls crisp and tasty. If you like Vietnamese food,or want to try it, this is place to go to. Outside seating on a summer evening is a delight.

Love, love, love Uncle Nam's! Bright, clean attractive restaurant with authentic offerings. I love the chicken pho, while my husband prefers the rare beef pho. We both like the pork summer roll. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. We always eat at Uncle Nam's at least once on every trip to London.

We went to try this new viet in Stokey. Ordered the bahn mi (roast pork) and the pancakes (pork and prawn), both for sharing. It was delicious! We'll be back to try the papaya salad. I don't give them five stars because it's "cash only",and the prices are not really "cash only" friendly. The staff is amazing though!

I waited 45 minutes for a take away given to me free for the wait. The spring rolls well nearly cold but tasty, the chicken wings where heavily overspiced I will try iit again but on the opening I can 0nly give ! star. They have a lot to learn from the other end of Kingsland Road where really decent Vietnamese food is served

We went for the opening night last night, and we loved it! It's really nice to have a Vietnamese restaurant in Stokie finally. The food was lovely, especially the Pho, and we loved how friendly everyone was.
