I always have an amazing experience when I visit the Undefeated store. Frank and the staff there have a positive attitude and alwayz good vibez , which makes shopping there a pleasure every time. We've been going there the past year. There customer service is top-notch — they go above and beyond to make sure we’re taken care of and always get us right.

Google
Excellent hospitality when visiting this location. Attentive smiling staff and ready to help as soon as I walked in the door. Showed me the aesthetics of the place and how the sizing wall ranged from. Had a variety of dunks to choose from which made it hard for me but loved how they hyped me up on which look better on me . Will be doing all my sneaker shopping at this location from here on out. Recommending all my friends and family to visit this location . Keep doing what y'all doing !!! Appreciate y’all. See you soon Santa Monica !

Was open when I passed to park and closed by the time I got to the store. This is the second time that I’ve driven quite a distance just for them to be closed early! The employees just waved us off as they’re inside and customers are outside.

Google
Undefeated is top notch when it comes to streetwear & sneakers. The store was well organized and the staff was super friendly and engaging!

Google
The selection of sneakers are amazing! They always have the exclusive. Even though, I don’t get greeted when I walk in and they greet other folks, eventually I’m the one that breaks the ice lol and I always show support and buy from them. ☺️

Google
Came to shop and had some impulsive buys that I regretted the next day (very overpriced for what it is) and came back to return but their return policy only allows for store credit or exchanges. Horrible practice for a business that sells clothing and shoes that might not fit right especially since they don’t have a fitting room.

Google
Fun fact: Chris Brown did a music video in this joint and down the street. This place is a cool spot to check out if you're killing some time before going back to the airport. The main street is also nice with a lot of shopping and you're one street away from the beach.

Yelp
I placed an order online over Black Friday weekend which was cancelled shortly afterwards. After attempting to contact the company through their online portal numerous times they refuse to resolve the problem and continue to reply with what seems to be an automated response rather than an actual person. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced and I suggest everyone refrain from making an online purchase or any purchase from them at all. I have supported Undefeated for over two decades, but now I feel like I no longer should. I previously disregard the negative reviews I have read about this company from Yelp and Trustpilot, but now from my experience it seems as if they are true. If this company was truly Undefeated, as the moniker states, I would think they should have 5 stars and satisfied customers but clearly they do not.

Yelp
Tried returning a brand new pair of air force 1s within their 7 day return policy. Was accused of wearing the shoes out due to unaligned bottom of the shoe which likely happened while I was trying them on. Denied a return of a brand new pair of shoes. Will just order directly from Nike / Adidas I guess since that's all they carry anyway.

Yelp
Went to Undefeated SM after many years of not having visited this location or area. So glad I did because they had the 1st colorway of the Nike Air Max 270 I have been looking all over for. The light bone/hot punch/black colorway. They are sold out in my size everywhere. Undefeated was clutch. Got to meet and talk with Alex the manager and he is super cool. Young guy and just a pleasure to speak with regarding all things shoe culture. Really appreciated his time and I will for sure be coming back to the SM store more often... I'm an old customer of Undefeated going back to its inception of their first store on La Brea and I've been loyal ever since. I know the owners, the managers and have made so many good friends with the crew over the years. All good people. Located on Main St between a nail salon and what used to be Gap back in the day then became American Apparel. I didnt check what it is now. I definitely recommend going to Undftd when in the Westside and looking for footwear. They have a great selection of shoes. Some are limited to Tier Zero sneaker stores like Undefeated, some are their own collaborations and others can be found more readily. Their clothing line of cut & sew apparel is very well made. The quality is evident. You will see. The tees are always fresh and the hats have become a staple for folks that know. Metered parking out front and around the way.

Yelp
The manager Frank was more than helpful. He made sure I was selecting the exact color way I wanted from their website. Shoes were listed one way, color way was slightly different online. Thank you for your help Frank !

Yelp
Staff was very rude. Did not help at all and I actually left because they were so rude. Get better staff I will spend my money elsewhere

Yelp
I like the shoes they have here. they fit my feet and keep my toes dry. I only wear the shoes once or twice tops so the fact that they have new shoes and colorways all the time is great. sometimes I run out of shoes so I have to order online but I prefer going into the store. i'm a size 9 or as they say in europe 42.5. my ig is brucehatoo check it out it's full of carefully curated pic of my shoes before during and after I wear them. most of the shoes I bought are from undefeated sm, labrea, silver lake or on line. I don't like buying from footaction because they suck as a store see my footaction review establish on 9/11/2002, undft has locations in Ca, LV, AZ, and Japan.

Yelp
Trash they have no selection of shoes I'm just kidding swoop by very nice people and great shoes I recommend you go there.

C. J.

Yelp
I went in looking for some AF1's that had came out the same day. I took an L in the SNKRS app that morning and really, really wanted the shoes for sentimental value. On a whim I decided to try this Undefeated since I was close by. Low and behold there at the counter were the shoes on display and in my exact size. I was thrilled!! The guys at the counter were super nice and helpful. They have a great selection of shoes some hard to find/get. I am sure I'll be back. BTW...I loved the music during the time I was in there.

Yelp
After two weeks of waiting for these AirMax 270's to "drop" I finally saw them posted on the Undefeated IG and called the store to ask them to hold for me for 1 hour while I drove from the other side of town. The gentleman on the phone said "I'm sorry but we don't hold" so I left work and bought the shoes that I now regret buying. When I arrive to the store everyone is either leaning on a counter or on the phone. I myself have worked for high end brands (in sales) and I have never seen anything like it. It's like they're the only store to buy shoes from and they could careless. I buy the shoes because I'm so elated to have this specific style with the Camo design in the back and I've been waiting and calling every store. 5 days later, I look down at the shoes and the Camo has started peeling off the shoe. I immediately take it back (in the box with receipt) and explain to them that I think it's wild that the Camo is peeling off and in a month they're going to look even worse. They basically told me that I must wearing them a certain way "like riding bike or something" and send me on my way - WITH AN ATTITUDE. Let me tell you. You don't go to Undefeated for the service. You don't even go for the quality. You go to buy a shoe that only they carry. But they are as unhelpful as HUMANLY possible. Never again.

Saul L.

Yelp
The store may not be huge but it is clean and the staff is excellent. Park early for it won't give you a hard time. The stock is neat, and usually not to busy at noon. Just have a streetwear look

Yelp
This is a really great local option, and the foot traffic shows it is a local favorite. I don't know that if I just happened to come at a bad time, but I was appalled at the choice of music 15 minutes into my visit. I watched a couple parents (with young ones present), walk in and out as soon as the vulgarities were heard. If my kids weren't already into trying shoes on, I would have cut the shopping short after hearing the the word "Nigga" in the music repetitively. While the music has nothing to do with the selection and quality of shoes, it reflects poorly on the ownership and management. As a middle aged shopper, prepared to buy 4 pairs of shoes at a time, I expect the staff to understand that the music is offensive, without my teaching them on the spot! What I can appreciate about this place, are the guys' immediate response to get rid of the offensive music. I just wish they could've made another selection, rather than just have dead silence.

Yelp
I stopped by Undefeated to make some last-minute gift purchases before a trip out of the country. Overall, I was pretty impressed with what this little store had to offer. A lot of people seem to have some gripes about the quality of service offered here, but I found my quick stop at Undefeated to be a positive, memorable experience. _____________ - There's a small parking lot located right behind the Undefeated store; in addition to being within immediate walking distance of the shop, these two-dozen or so parking spaces are priced very affordably (which, let's face it, isn't always the case in Santa Monica). You'll be paying prices similar to those of a parking meter - around $1 an hour I believe. - In spite of how small Undefeated is, there's a surprisingly decent selection of shoes and apparel to work with. I happened to be visiting during the shop's end-of-season sale, and I was impressed by how much stock was available at a discounted price. I snagged a T-shirt for around $20-25, along with a discounted gray beanie, as well. To finish off my gift-shopping spree, I also purchased a keychain and two premium shoe-cleaning kits. I also made an impulse buy and bought some sweatpants for the long flight to Asia; I wasn't sure if these pants were priced on-sale, but they came out to about $65. These pants were thick & cozy, yet still flexible - perfect airplane wear! All in all, my total bill came out to about $115, which wasn't too shabby considering how many items I scooped up. _____________ - I appreciated the understanding of the staff members here. After I mentioned that I was interested in trying on the sweatpants, the employees informed me that no fitting rooms were available - but that I was welcome to try the pants on in the shop's back office. My makeshift changing room experience was made that much more hilarious given that the electricity at Undefeated was fading in and out - so I was basically trying on the pants in total darkness. Thanks to some careful usage of my phone flashlight, however, I was able to try on the pants with minimal difficulty - and again, they were worth the effort. While this may not have been the ideal means through which I would've liked to try my sweatpants on, I still give kudos to the employees at Undefeated for so willingly catering to me as their customer.

Yelp
The management at Undefeated is laughable. I showed with an old credit to this store . It is old but there is nothing that gives an expiration date . The amount is $140. The reason I was given for not honoring my credit(receipt) was , "we have a new system that we can't look up older receipts" . That's a great policy ? Undefeated in not honoring store credit? . If you are looking for overpriced shoes you can find a place that has a better attitude and takes care of its customers.

Yelp
This location doesn't have a lot of selection on clothes and whatever size they have out is what they have. I have to say, they do have a lot of good selection of shoes. Lots of cute sneakers for kids. I rather go to the La Brea location since that location is bigger and has more seating. Oh yeah, the Undftd bag is so dope!
google avatar

Yelp
Solid establishment. Products always on point. Great end of season sales. Keep up the good work!

Yelp
I started shopping at Undefeated by chance (my nail salon was right next door), and instantly felt the good vibes. Music was on point, everyone was well put together, and Alex helped me step my sneaker game up. Alex has been my go-to for over 2 years now, in which I can say, my sneaker collection has never looked better. He's always so helpful and I can tell he really loves his job! Sometimes I go in just to see what color beanie he's wearing and regardless if I buy anything he is just as welcoming and appreciative. I absolutely love this place!!! Side note: I just got the UNDFT camo skate deck and it's probably one of my top 3 purchases from Undefeated :) Thanks Alex and the SM team!
google avatar

Yelp
The greatest store in LA. Hands down. Humble service, and cool employees. I always end up making a purchase here. thanks for everything guys!
google avatar

Vasine G.

Yelp
Definitely 1 of the elite shoe stores in LA! Always have exclusive kicks. . .Never to be sold again. Mailing list keeps me updated so I don't always have to stop in. Pre-order is great. My favorite is Nike SB Dunks Lows. They're always good for a new pair. Their own brand of shirts and hoodies are worth cop'n too.

Norma O.

Yelp
Top notch employees that take cars of VIP customers. The employees are all lovely people who are friendly and well mannered. The two women that are also cashiers are super polite and always so friendly to my little one. Yes they look like sisters (even twins) but apparently they are not. Each if the 3 gentlemen I usually see there are very knowledgeable and helpful with questions. The store gets a line on special releases but usually goes quickly and with good efficiency. Overall the stock of GR shoes is always good and I often win raffles. So overall this store is an A++

Yelp
Best shop to score some sneakers. Everyone is down to earth never had an issue been going to them for a while now. By far my go to spot.
google avatar

Peter R.

Yelp
great shoes ...but, the main problem is the snobbery is beginning to pour out the door. I understand cool factor must be upheld, but they are bordering on a "screw it, never go back" feeling for me. They used to be a lot more helpful and mellow over there, but not lately. The girl who works there is one of the most frumpy humans ever. Remember, YOU SELL SHOES punk.
google avatar

Jonathan W.

Yelp
This is by far the best sneaker store I have been to. The sales people really know their sneakers. I collect Stan Smiths and they are always giving me the heads up, even if they don't carry the sneaker. It is worth the trip down to the beach. It blows all other sneaker stores out of the water !! JAW
google avatar

Brian A.

Yelp
I have never had the experiences here as other people say they have. Whether I call and pair for pair over the phone, visit the store or email Alex a question I've never had nothing but top notch service. Alex shoots out email blast for new drops and takes time after hours to answer any questions. That is customer service!
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
This place fuels my Vans and Chuck addictions. Who needs a pair of Manolo Blahnik when I can get my hands on the limited Marc Jacob designed Vans with pink soles??? Not this girl. Worth checking out the store just to see the simple design of the store and the layout.

Yelp
I got a pair of Nike Free Run 2 tennis shoes at the Silverlake store. The price was the same as other places. I needed to exchange them for a larger size and ended up visiting both the La Brea and Santa Monica store where I exchanged them. The employees in all the stores were nice and helpful. The employee in the SM store told me all the Nike running shoes run small, which is good to know. I wish they had more selection for women, but I realize they are a boutique-style store (each store had only two colors each of the Women's Nike Free Run). The stores do have different merchandise so it's definitely worth calling another store if you can't find what you need in the first. FYI, there are no returns and you have to exchange or get store credit within 7 days.
google avatar

Danielle F.

Yelp
What a bunch of stuck up sneaker snots! Being the sneaker queen, I wish I could love this store but they have a terrible selection in women's wear and an attitude to match their crappy inventory. And if there does happen to be a cute shoe in sight they only have it in a size 4 or 10. No offer to order you a pair either. I think guys would have a lot more fun here, given that the almost bare walls carry mostly men's shoes. As for me, I gave up coming here a long time ago when the women's shoes they had on display looked like someone had thrown up on them and called it "fashion".
google avatar

Maria V.

Yelp
I've shopped here twice, once buying their grey with black undefeated logo men's sweatshirt and most recently for myself buying a pair of Vans ASPCA edition cat print sneaks. Meow. Shop boys (never seen a gal working there in the two times I've been) are a mix of Marshall Mathers in 8 mile and hipster. I haven't really spent that much time in there to experience either good or bad service but for the most part it's been a quick and problem free shopping visit. They have a lot of great sneakers, unique styles, and their apparel is high quality too. I will go back only next time I will try and buy the kids size sneaks to save some money. Little people amirite?
google avatar

Elly S.

Yelp
Not the friendliest retail store that's for sure. Also I'm so thankful I asked what the return policy is as there isn't one. Exchanges only and within 7 days. So I just bought a Christmas gift that won't be opened till the 26th for my daughter who lives out of town so I'll make sure they fit while I'm standing there and if not I'll have to go back and take another guess as they don't special order if they don't have the correct size. My mistake in not looking at the shoe then ordering it online. I hope they fit!!!!
google avatar

Pepe A.

Yelp
4 stars as they def get the rare goods ahead of everybody else in the world. And how are they kept rare?, because the sales peeps don't have a clue as to what is on the floor, heh heh. Case in point, the Nike x Junya Watanabe Vintage series. The blogosphere's drop date was mid-July for this one ( even in Tokyo). Well, as I was walking past UDFTD yesterday, I saw a pile of NIKE catalogs by the door ; which means, new shipment, right? Sure enough, when I walked in , I spotted 4 colorways of the Junya X Nike in the locked case. So I ask the sales dude, "Do you have the black & orange Junyas?" ( really sick ) , and he goes - Who's Junya ?, but those ( he points to the case ), just arrived, - Ignorance is bliss. Go cop some before the Japanese kids buy them out.

Chris O.

Yelp
I won a raffle for off white presto's and I got there a little bit late but these liars(all the employees) told me that I was too late to pick up the shoes and the office picked them up for re raffle. Everybody knows that is a bs. I bet the employees including the manager took the shoes backdoor and keep them for themselves.
google avatar

Aryan O.

Yelp
It's a nice spot if your looking for sneakers. I was somewhat disappointed that they didn't have too many of the Undefeated New Era Hats. But they did have some sneakers, and they weren't that bad of pricing. If your around the Santa Monica Pier or down 3rd street, don't forget to stop by and check the place out, you'll probably find a shoe that you weren't looking for and ending up buying it when you leave.
google avatar

George B.

Yelp
if you're tired of going to your local footlocker and continue to buy the same shoes everyone else has... then go to Undftd in Santa Monica or L.A. I swing by here once in a while after having lunch at Urth Cafe w/ my fiancee. But anyways, here they always have fresh kicks for everyone. I haven't stayed in line for the limited edition shoes like my friends have. Still, if you're into today's streetwear, this is a definite MUST visit.
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
Undefeated is all HYPE... I don't call myself a sneakerhead but I do have more kicks then most. But each time I stop by to check out the selection, nothing really "wow" me. The usual are always there; AF1s, Js, Dunks, NBs, Vans, etc but nothing really stands out that I can't get somewhere else with better service. Since I am on the topic of the service, the staffs there are a bit of a tool when you try to ask more questions about the shoes. (I am dropping mad $$$ that I worked hard for, be a bit nice and answer my questions) Overall, ok experience, I'll continue to go there to scoop out any hidden gems but I have better experience at other sneakers shops.

Josh C.

Yelp
Worst, and I mean worst experience EVER!! They not only have ZERO management, but they totally have no clue how to run a store. HIRE ADULTS THAT HAVE A BRAIN. You had 50+ people waiting in line for a shoe release and it was perfect and peaceful till about 6-8 people rolled up 10mins till open and stood at the front of the line. EVERYONE told the staff and they sh*t themselves from being SO clueless on what to do. Long story short, they sold out extremely fast AND the people who cut, and didn't wait all night, got the shoes while the rest of us were left to stare at YOUR CLUELESS, DUMB, INCAPABLE STAFF that had no idea what just happened and looked WAAAAY out of their league. The young female was a deer in headlights... has she worked retail before? You lost a 8+ year customer today... I will NEVER go to any location EVER again... not that you care, cause it's obvious how you treat people YOU DON'T! HIRE STAFF WITH BRAINS AND THAT CAN SHOW UP 15 MINS EARLY TO GET THE LINE IN CHECK.... HELLLLLOOOOO... WAKE UP!! **Adding to review after reading some others** REPLACE YOUR STAFF!!! Half the reviews are horrible and ALL say it's the STAFF. The two guys are complete A holes and the young female barks a lot but has zero bite and thinks shes something special cause she works at Undefeated... wow, way to go... does that mean you have to treat others poorly? Ever hear of manners? And for the dark hair gentleman... TAKE A SHOWER... it will help with people rushing to move away from you. GET NEW STAFF - YOU'RE LOSING LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!!
google avatar

Charlotte C.

Yelp
I walked in the store, wanted to buy some shoes but I turn around and all the employees had gone to the back as if they didn't want to deal with me as a customer. Very bad service. But the store layout is cool.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
selection isn't as great as the La Brea location, but the employees are helpful and quick. worth a quick stop if you're in the area.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
Horrible return policy..Bought a protective shoe cleaner that ended up leaving hard to remove spots all over my sneakers. Receipt clearly states "no refunds, credit only." Which I was cool with in hopes to exchange it for a different cleanser. I bring in the product that I had used (once) and asked to return it for credit. The employee says "Well, did you use it? Because if you did, there's nothing I can do for you." Uh yeah bro...I used it, did not like the product, hence my return. After I read back to him the return policy (that's clearly stated on the receipt) he still could have cared less and failed to compromise on a solution. Hey Undeafted, maybe look into rewording your return policy so I don't have to skate half way across town to deal with shitty customer service. In conclusion, fuck this place.

Yelp
Being from the east coast I made the assumption that all sneaker shops are created equal, well we all know what happens when you assume.. The staff all 2 of them were actually friendly ,maybe it's a west coast thing. I found a pair of high tops I had been searching for maybe a year. Not only did i find them but I was shocked they were under 150 bucks ,even better. I spent about an hour in total in the shop just talking to the guy/girl working there. If I'm ever on the west coast again I'd definately shop here. if only shops on my side of the country would get the memo about getting off that high horse.
google avatar

Tony S.

Yelp
The best customer service. Frank, Aaron, and Amanda were extremely helpful. Will be shopping again soon.

Steph S.

Yelp
Alright... Alright... I use to come here a lot but the times have changed and so has the sneaker game. 1. Still quite on top of the sneakers game 2. They have a decent sale (when they even do have sales... I got two pair of women premiums here for $110.. not bad) 3. The guys that use to work here were nice and helpful but it's hit or miss, like I've said in another review about a similar style place most boutique people will give you a snob impression. Yet I'm gonna be honest I've experienced better service here than their LA location. I may like my sneakers but don't treat me like a jerk because I'm sure I can find those elsewhere. Most of their stuff are for men, limited amount of women sneakers. Decent location if you see American Apparel... you found it, it's next door.
google avatar

George M.

Yelp
After a fight with my girlfriend at the time I discovered this place. The name says it all. UNDEFEATED. We broke up a week later but I finally found that pair of 1977 Red Suede Gazelles. I have been looking for them for 5 years. Walking out of the place I felt UNDEAFTED and had a new pair of kicks too. Retail Therapy rocks.
google avatar

Ravadee S.

Yelp
The two times Ive walked in there, it was the same stand off-ish vibe. The workers act like they're to good to help you because they work at a hype ass store. I understand that most street wear boutiques aren't like your typical malls/stores where associates are always on your back trying to get you to buy something BUT a simple greet or acknowledgment is always nice. I also asked if they had a pair of sneakers in stock and how the sizes ran for women, the asian chick said the shoes ran true to size but didn't give much input on the sneakers/fit or took an approach to help me find what I was looking for. Im sure great people work there but I have yet to experience that.

Greg J.

Yelp
Yes, I get it. You guys were featured on an episode of "Entourage". Yes, I get it. Most of the shoes in here double what most college students make in a week. But the attitude kills me. You work surrounded by Nikes and cross trainers, not Cartier jewelry. That being said, I have to give it up to the selection of footwear here. I came in and copped some Nike AF1's with an amazing "woodgrain" detail. Since then, I've been a fan. Sneakerheads, this spot will not disappoint. I have a sickness and weakness for shoes.
google avatar

Benjamin P.

Yelp
I rate this one higher than the one on La Brea, has more stuff, better weather that way. ahah. Nice spot and no longer a secrect since it was on Entourage. Alex (one of the owners) was talking to me about a pair of Nike ID 90s inspired by their Dunk NLs, I think he agreed the AM90s are fire. www.xanga.com/benjaminpower to check out the pair I ID, I give them the props though, it was inspired by their colorway. UNDFTD is the sneaker spot. Guys there are kick back and cool, they deserve the fame and recognition they are getting now.
google avatar

Phil E.

Yelp
After visiting Undefeated for the first time and seeing its vast collection of footwear treasures, its a massive frkn miracle that I didn't discover this place until after I had gotten over my obsession with sneakers. Imagine my life if things were different: I'd be a ragged, tweaking mess outside their door every morning, waiting for them to open, then rushing inside and throwing down loose change and crumpled bills, yelling "Gimme some limited edition Kicks! I neeeeeeeeeeeeed them! Please!" like some wretched alcoholic getting the detox shakes outside a liquor store in the bad part of town at 10 a.m. It would be highly degrading.
google avatar

Josh K.

Yelp
The in-store tag line says it all: Rare Footage. Three stores (newest in Silverlake on Sunset), all serving nothing but hottness. Mr. Cartoon brownies, dope new era logo wear hats, non-stop hip hop and nag champa in store make it a destination worth a visit.
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
i love this place its right next to an amazing restaurant shout out to the staff the tall white guy is cool and the girl is beautiful the manager is cool too he wears cav empt i waited outside for about an hour before they opened and when they finally opened i was able to cop the 5 strike hat that i always wanted

Yelp
Interesting kicks, but I'd only wear 1-2 pairs in the store. Poor service too - very unhelpful. I thought their Adidas collection was cool, and picked up a pair. The shoes doesn't seem to be exclusive to Undefeated though - you can find a lot of the same pairs at Barneys and Bloomingdale's.

Yelp
Over the years Undtd has gotten a lot better with their customer service . They've always had a huge selection of shoes and clothing and I'm glad they started carrying more BAPE again . This location is nice because it's near the beach and the staff are great .
