I went for the the LeBron James Mattel pre-sale Kenambassador. The wait wasn't to bad, &I got 1! Cool store, cool employees!

Google
UNDFTD is the upscale ultra rare authentic athletic brand. It's my favorite sporty go out anywhere gear; that cannot be unnoticed by those who admire classy attire.

detrick lowman

Google
Definitely dont hit like they use to... not too great of a selection like they use to have... becoming more of a regular sneakers store with a lot of their merch

Alex Alex

Google
Why does it say on Google Maps that you’re open until 7 PM? I spent a couple of hours checking both LA locations, and they were already closed by 5 PM….

Diego

Google
Horrible customer service Will act inconvenience if asking questions about products or if they have other sizes

Google
I’m under the impression that the people employed there either don't care or don’t like their jobs. They are very rude and to put it simply, they’re not that special.

Google
Popped in here after eating nearby and saw that they had an Adidas style I’ve been looking for that’s been sold out online for a while. The workers were really chill and helpful in getting me diff sizes to try. I’ll be back!

Misanthrope

Google
Rude employees. I asked for help and they looked at me and ignored me. Don't recommend

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. Took forever to get a size checked and I can't even exchange or return because of their awesome policy. Matt Kemp was there. Service was horrible. Someone who was supposed to help me decided to help this other girl then when she asked for a men's size 10.5 he got quite fast. Now im stuck with a shoe a half size too small. They're undefeated for sure..for lacking customer service and having horrible guest experience

Yelp
I placed an order online over Black Friday weekend which was cancelled shortly afterwards. After attempting to contact the company through their online portal numerous times they refuse to resolve the problem and continue to reply with what seems to be an automated response rather than an actual person. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced and I suggest everyone refrain from making an online purchase or any purchase from them at all. I have supported Undefeated for over two decades, but now I feel like I no longer should. I previously disregard the negative reviews I have read about this company from Yelp and Trustpilot, but now from my experience it seems as if they are true. If this company was truly Undefeated, as the moniker states, I would think they should have 5 stars and satisfied customers but clearly they do not.

Yelp
The store had a decent selection. The white guy with long hair was extremely rude, had an attitude and lazy! Sucks to see poor staff run down a nice business. Won't be coming back ever again. Btw, I ended up buying a few items too. Got in my car and ended up having a bad day because of the experience.

Yelp
After reading the comments below I laugh to myself because it is true. The employees weren't helpful or welcoming at all. I've been to the Glendale location located on brand. Complete opposite. I only went here because they had what I needed.

Denys T.

Yelp
Absolute worst service imaginable. If you scroll past paid actors that give this place 5 star, you will find so many people getting scammed through the website. Scam return policy. Non existant customer service. Stay away from this website or you will lose money and not get what you want.

Alisha V.

Yelp
Came in today at 11:40 and walked right out. The worst customer service I've ever encountered. The staff acts like they are the ones spending the money. The gentleman stood at the counter and watched me the entire time instead of asking me if I needed help. I finally had to wave him over only for him to give me attitude that he had to take the walk across the 300 square-foot store to help me. be careful how you treat people. Especially people that spend money here. Definitely will not be coming back.

Yelp
Went in ready to buy some stuff after having sushi next door. I walk in and only a supermodel type woman is trying on shoes. Receiving lapdog attention from the mouth-breathing employee. I walk around looking, making eye contact with employees, head nodding. I was waiting to see if anybody would just say the word "Hi." Nope. Just awkward and uninviting stares. Straight up ignored. Shop online, avoid this location, actually just avoid this whole overhyped brand. The people that work here are delusional weirdos with no basic sense of hospitality, because they sure as hell don't know salesmanship. The loser/snob atmosphere is thick in the air. Way to fail miserably as a business. The other reviews on yelp are spot on with how poor their experience was at this prime location.

Yelp
Came here to get my Kobe's on release date! Very small store but very quick way to get in and get out. Would come to this location for the drops if your a sneaker head like me they also have good clothes and good shoes for retail if you want to buy

Danny R.

Yelp
Considering that this is a very popular store in LA I would think that the service would be great but I was terribly mistaken. I walked into this store around noon on a Friday, their were only a couple customers in the store with 3 employees around and none are helping anyone. All three employees were behind the desk talking among themselves completely ignoring us guests. I finally asked for help and it was as if I did something wrong. Employees were rude and not much help. I had asked if they had bigger sizes in particular hats and they said "no the smallest size we have is out" and when I checked it was completely wrong from what he said. I told him the sizes that were out on display and they said "of then yeah thats what i got". Then I asked if they had bigger sizes on a particular pair of shoes and they said "idk maybe" but never went to actually check. At this point I left. Completely disappointed in the service. Please correct your employees.

Yelp
Since this is a fashion brand reviews likely don't matter; but their online customer service is horrible. emails not responded to. No way to call. My hope is that this brand gets defeated.
google avatar

Gabrielle B.

Yelp
I called to ensure the shoes I wanted were in stock. When I arrived I noticed one customer and three salespeople behind the counter all of them sitting down staring at their phones. I found the shoe I called about walked towards the counter with my selection and the young lady asks what size, and she goes back to find it. During this time the other two salespeople did not move or look up from their phones. I get the shoes she does ask if I want to try them on, I say "no" I am paying for them and she is back on her phone so quickly. I was in and out less than ten minutes. I was not impressed with the service. Would I go back again ? Probably not. I have I expectations for service it's not there.

Yelp
Undefeated has been a staple in LA for sneaker heads for a while now. I've always liked Undefeated, and I remember the high school days when my brother would get me out of class and take me to places like Undefeated to shop for clothes and sneakers. They have brands like Adidas, Nike, Converse, Jordan, Vans, Bape, etc. They also carry a lot of limited release shoes and clothing that are popular too. A lot of people complain about not being able to get what they want, but that's the reality of the streetwear game now, and Undefeated tries their best to give their customers a fair chance at getting what they want. I was lucky enough to win a couple raffles by them, and I've had the best chances at getting the things I want from them. On top of that, Undefeated is always doing something cool. For example, for Air Max Day last year they held an event for the winners of the Nike AM 1/97 SW raffle at their old location across the street. They had free Air Max Day shirts, games, free popcorn, and refreshments in the back where you can talk and get to know your fellow sneaker heads. I always appreciate when places go above and beyond to give their customers a valuable experience. Overall, I'd recommend shopping at Undefeated if you're into streetwear and sneakers!

Yelp
I walked in at 4:20pm 6/26/23 and was not greeted my first 60 seconds inside the store. I walked in really excited because I assumed the customer service would be outstanding but after 5ue first minute went by and know proper customer introductions from the undefeated staff I felt as if I wasn't accepted there. The workers were speaking and interacting with the other customers but did not make eye contact with or my cousin. Maybe because we weren't celebrities or professional athletes.maybe it was because we were black.
google avatar

Daniel S.

Yelp
Employees would rather stand there and act like wannabe models than actually do their job and go fetch sizes for customers. Dudes be rolling their eyes when u ask for a size. Crap customer service bottom line.

Maki V.

Yelp
I got a pair of Nike shoes. Less than two months later and me wearing them 10 times (at best) right shoe got a hole at the seam. Got to the store to return them. Apparently it is a "wear and tear" per them and they do not do this sort of "thing". They sent me to Nike. Nike has a bad return policy on 3rd parties shopping. Do not see the point of this store, I would be much better off getting my shoes at the source (NIKE) where they would give me money back or replace the shoe. And I will do that from now on. Rude customer service. With all the choice of shoes I can get online do not see the point of this store.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is trash. Came in over the weekend to buy shoes and nobody offered to help. I got tired of waiting and walked the shoes over to the Asian guy behind the counter who was just staring at me blankly. The workers here are clueless af. I pay for my shoes and the Asian guy (still hasn't said anything to me) just hands me my bag and stares. What a weirdo. I've been a long time shopper around La Brea but this is the last time I go to Undefeated. Sad but this place has turned into a joke, mainly because of their employees.

Julian F.

Yelp
Extremely disappointing experience every time and I've been multiple times. Customer service doesn't exist, nobody cares, everybody on their phones or eating rather than helping. Manager verbatim told me "if you feel like our other stores (locations) treat you better than you should probably just go there". This place is terrible, don't go. Save the headache cause their other stores are great. Whoever owns/operates this location, you need a new staff ASAP.
google avatar

Jacob S.

Yelp
What can I say? Are you looking for 5 grown men behind a counter to begrudgingly cast glazed stares at you while you look around? Maybe you'd prefer approaching said group of 5 men, all leaning and or sitting on chairs, just to be looked at like you are sooo very rudely interrupting, by asking a question or trying to receive any service? If so, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! In all seriousness..... there any several of these type of stores in and around LA. I've been to most of them, several times. Just pick any of those. Every other sneaker resale/ bodega/ street brand, kicks store, I receive amazing service from super cool dudes. It was my first time here, maybe it was a one off? But honestly the experience was terrible.

Rhussel M.

Yelp
Guess what, I recieved a ripped/broken box. Whoever packed it forced the shoe box to fit in a small square box or somebody on your team sent me a broken one. It took almost a month before I received it and this is what I'm getting. I contacted cust service. ---- Cust service reply: I sincerely apologize your box arrived to you in that condition. Our shipping team makes every effort to ensure that the items are packaged carefully. Unfortunately, however, boxes are subject to damage during transit and is essentially out of our control. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. ----- Maybe this is my 1st time to get a pair from you but this not my 1st time to purchase a shoe. I disagree with you that the items were packaged carefully. I think the damage would be avoided if your team did a better a job. The shoe box was placed in a square box which was much smaller than the dimension of the shoe box. No other wrap or extra paper to protect the items inside. I know UNDEFEATED can do better. I've purchased sneakers from STADIUM GOODS, FLIGHT CLUB, GOAT, STOCK X, NIKE & ADIDAS. And this the 1st time I had this experience. Your team are not considering the value of the package they're sending. I know the best thing you can do is apologize. That's the usual answer you can give me. This would be my last time to purchase from you. Im really disappointed. Not a great experience for me as a new customer.

Yelp
Stoked to order exclusive shoes from them but very disappointed in their service! When delivered, you could tell they were worn already, box messed with just by opening it up and seeing the tissue paper. Shoes laces were messed up which definitely not right for purchasing an exclusive shoe. Examining the shoes one side was noticeable scuffed in multiple areas! Customer service was very poor stating they could not do anything because it's an exclusive shoe and there were none available. So, could just return it. Really poor and unprofessional! Especially making a purchase for something you think is exclusive (should not really be messed with much) and paying good money for! Unfortunate, because never really had an issue like this buying shoes. Anyone else?
google avatar

Collin C.

Yelp
Don't buy from this company. Terrible service. They will never get back to you. If you want to return anything forget about it. Impossible to support this company anymore because they treat you like trash. The pandemic sucks for retailers, but they're not even trying to communicate with their customers.
google avatar

Yelp
PLEASE DON'T SHOP HERE Their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. I've been in there 3 times and all 3 times the store employees gave me so much attitude it got to the point where there was confrontation and if I didn't back down we would've had a problem and a fight. They try to alpha you when you enter the store. I waited in line for an hour for a sneaker release in the rain. People were cutting and not only did the employees do anything but when I told them, they yelled at my face and said "FIGURE IT OUT!!" I later noticed that the people cutting in line were FRIENDS OF THE EMPLOYEES! They bought up all the stock. I watched as one by one people walked right in, bought the gear and left in front of us. they of course sold out with their limited stock before I got to the front and didn't tell us so that we could go to another shop instead. I got to the front and asked them how a hoodie and a sneaker fit. They shrugged, looked away and said "you want it or not?? No trying on! Hurry!" I shop all around the area. Cool Kicks, Bait etc.. and I understand hype releases come with attitude but Undefeated takes all the fun out of it. I had purchased a pair of ultra boosts and a bape hoodie with undefeated branding on them but will be selling it all because I can't rep such a horrible shop. I'm not sure if the employees are trained to act like complete confrontational assholes but it seems like it. Maybe people like it and it works for their business model but if you're somewhat normal, PLEASE give Bait, Cool Kicks and/or any other shop on Melrose your money instead.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. Ended up having to contact the BBB because no one from the company would answer my question or help me in anyway. They actually ignored several of my emails asking if I could cancel or return my product. All I wanted was a yes or no. Instead, they ignored me. Such a shame.
google avatar

Yelp
Placed an order through the website and it was shipped out. It was allegedly delivered to me by UPS who then confirmed they delivered it to a UPS access point. Then they just completely said they lost it. Within this process of all of this I filed the claim with UPS. They acted swiftly to resolve it and their policy is to pay the claim to the shipper. - undefeated. When you order online they don't have a customer service number. All communication is by email. I initially received an email from Natalie saying she would look into it. Then when I forwarded her the resolution from UPS she informed me that she would not accept that and would wait until ups got in contact with her. I also told her as a second option you can reach out to ups claims dept to confirm the information I sent over so that I am able to be refunded. My response was no. I also reached out to UPS who confirmed again that the claims info was sent electronically and undefeated c/o Natalie would have received it INSTANTLY. I provided her with that information as well. After that the email chain has dried up. No response. I called the store and was told that online was separate and they can't help me. From a customer service standpoint if someone brings revenue to your business and the product they ordered did not make it to them I would think that the business would see to it that the client was refunded or received a replacement. Not with undefeated. Not with Natalie. Should we blame Covid like everyone else does with everything else? I dunno. I just would like my money back and To never give this business a slight view. And I also would tell my friend and family to not support them. They're trash!l and I'm forced to give them 1 star when it's truly 0!

Yelp
Hands down the best sneaker store in the land. UNDFTD has more clout than any other place in the country. Their sneaker collaborations are legendary and are some of the most coveted by people that know the deal. They're a Nike Tier Zero account holder so they're gonna get those really limited edition releases that a handful of stores will get in the whole country... Prices aren't cheap. This store ain't for everybody... But if you know what you want and they have it... You better buy it cause it's not gonna be there when you come back. The one on La Brea is the original. Staff has always been super friendly and helpful. That's what keeps me coming back. Their clothing line is real good as well. The fitted baseball hats are really popular with the 5 Strikes logo.... UNDEFEATED. The name says it all.
google avatar

Yelp
Rude af customer service at this location! Just called to inquire on a drop that was said to be released today.. Took awhile for someone to pickup, and as soon as I asked they just said "no we don't, they sold out" with a rude quick ass hang up. SMH.. ‍

Brett G.

Yelp
I won a pair of shoes in a drop and I wish I never did. The fat guy at the front door checking entries were very rude. He asked to see my ID so I showed them and because I took my picture when I was 18 and now I have a beard he proceeded to tell me that that does look like me in my ID. He then decided it was necessary to look me and my friends up and down fit checking us and just staring at us. This guys is a sneaker store bouncer and acts like he something special lol. This guys stood there with fake jewelry on and had the audacity to mad dog us because he decided to think that I was using someone else ID to win the shows on my app. The guys at the register were super cool and everyone working inside.
google avatar

Brian Y.

Yelp
Most impressively the laziest employees at this local store. Their sneaker selection is not the best. I will use their online store from this day on.
google avatar

Danny V.

Yelp
Both this location and the Glendale location have the worst customer service I have experienced. The employee's do not know how to interact with the customers and treat every moment like its an annoyance to have to speak to any person. Not only are they unwilling to interact but god forbid you win a raffle and have to go through that experience. The raffle system is unorganized and the employees are not helpful at all. They just want to get you out of the store as quickly as possible and are upset you are even purchasing the product.
google avatar

Brenda Z.

Yelp
Came to pick up my Yeezys, so I'm glad I won the raffle. Lines are annoying but once you're in there AC is on full blast. May go back to check out some sneakers.

Harry S.

Yelp
Backdoor for any hyped shoes 700 + retail if you wanted to buy travis 1s when they dropped. Their worker chooses who wins through the email to confirm who wins. Been rigged ever since.
google avatar

Toby I.

Yelp
Nice store but as everyone said. Worst customer service. 3 dudes in front talking about god knows what, but finally some dude in the back comes out to ring up my order. I literally walked in picked up a hat and waited 15 minutes before they rung me up. Im the only one in the store btw. Wont be back and will drive to the sunset store, and that says a lot.
google avatar

Yelp
This store is what's wrong about the sneaker buying experience in 2017. Staff and management simply don't care and belittle their customers. They look down on them for what? Trying to buy their product... I don't understand why Nike gives these jerks a right to sell shoes. I first had a problem when the line started to get rowdy and chaotic an hour before the release. I was wondering why someone from the store doesn't help by giving out tickets or letting people know what was going on. Several fights almost broke out due to the lack of care by the staff. The manager came out and started laughing at us saying "I don't know why some of y'all here. Y'all not getting shit." ... that's rude and unnecessary... why treat customers like this? Line control is still terrible even after the manager comes out. He smokes a cigarette and starts to record us with his phone. There's children in line and he still exhales cigarette smoke onto us. Douche move. Once the clock strikes 11 I thought they'd let us in, NOPE... more smoke breaks for the manager. We wait without any announcement for 20 minutes past the opening time. Finally they let us in one at a time. They never let people know when they sell out of product... so hundreds of people wait a couple hours for no reason... Sneaker buying doesn't have to be this way. Undefeated simply likes to act too "cool". I pin it to a lack of respect for customers. Either way, Nike really should do something... maybe I'll make a petition explaining the situation.

Mark L.

Yelp
Wanted to buy 3 pairs of shoes. Sat there for 15 minutes... one guy engaged in conversation with somebody (who wasn't buying anything and assume they were friends), the other on the phone on a personal call. Nobody came over to help me and I tried courteously to get their attention to help me ... left and went over to KITH and ended up buying 5 pairs and was treated royally. Undefeated and Kith have similar selections...difference is KITH treats you with kindness and courtesy as opposed to being treated like a pariah.

Yelp
So I drag my family here after a day at Universal Studios, because I had been to one of their other locations in the past and picked up a beanie that I had lost and wanted to get a replacement. Seeing that it was still winter I thought I might be able to find one but when I got there all they had was their upcoming spring collection, which was cool so I had every intention of walking out of there with some stuff, there were three dudes behind the counter Having their conversations and when I asked for help they all looked at each other, Once I finally got one of them to help me about half the stuff that I wanted was out of stock, no socks no hat and the shirt that I really wanted was not in my size either, I did end up getting out of there with the shirt that was OK and a Pair of socks But I would've bought much more. Never been some place I had to try so hard to spend my money.
google avatar

Brittani R.

Yelp
I've read lots of bad reviews for the staff here so I just wanted to share my experience. When I walked in I was greeted at the door. I picked up a couple shoes and waited for assistance. As soon as someone was available (a young guy with blonde hair and clear rimmed glasses) I was helped with a size and with a phone call to the silver lake location to ask if they had a shoe in stock. While I waited for the phone call, yet another staff member came to make sure I was being helped. I'm not sure if they've suddenly cleaned up their act, but there was no trace of pretentiousness from the staff members I interacted with. And in case anyone thinks it's because I'm a woman, id like to add that I looked just super rough and half way thrown together and made it clear that I was shopping for my boyfriend. They were happy I found what I wanted and said "I hope he loves his gift!"

Yelp
Undefeated is one of the mainstays on La Brea, along with Union, Stussy, and American Rag. A lot of sneakerheads go there for exclusive drops, usually for Nikes. The design of the store is really distinct, but the store itself is small. The selection of kicks, like the store space, quite small. You will find the more popular releases here: Nike Air Maxes, Puma Hi-tops, Alife, etc. If it is in fashion or mentioned in Complex magazine, it is probably on sale here. Limited stuff gets sold out quick, so check the website to know what is dropping. They have their own line of products too, tees, accessories, and sweaters. Just to let you know, the kicks tend to be more pricey here, as they mark up higher than suggested retail. But the service is good and the staff is knowledgeable.

Alexander K.

Yelp
Ordered shoes two weeks ago and they have not shipped yet. 10 business days to be exact. When I emailed about shipping they essentially told me "we'll ship them when we ship them". I then asked to cancel the order because it is taking so long and they said no. I told them if they wont ship the shoes or cancel the order I will dispute the charge with my bank. The person I was dealing with, Natalie, then threatened me with "legal action" if I disputed the charge.

Yelp
boring boring boring nothing new is here mainly old sneakers that looked questionable no customer service no-one is friendly its very stuck up better off saving your money and going to nike

Yelp
Usually never write reviews but this is sitting in the back of my head for days now. I used to love this store. My sister lives in LA and would always pick me up a fresh pair of kicks that you could only get from them. Recently i purchased a pair of shoes from their website (ozweego tech clear granite) In the picture on the website, they looked amazing. Very crisp, white and black, looked leather. I get the shoes and the colour was waay different, they were a shiny fabric material, greyish brown tone, didn't look anything like the picture advertised. Then i remember i saw these shoes already at adidas.com and decided to look up how much they were there... $70! in comparison to the $215 i paid at undefeated. When i showed them i could have bought these shoes for less than half the price at adidas, and that the shoes look completely different than what was advertised on their website, their response was "we don't give refunds on launch products"....meanwhile didn't even ask for one, maybe give a customer that feels robbed a discount on their next order?? nope, they just stopped responding to my discontent.. I feel ripped off and scammed. Always recommended this company to everyone i knew who wanted cool kicks. Now i wouldn't spend another dime there.

Sergio V.

Yelp
Worst service ever, you feel as if you can't get any help even when they're the ones who messed up my order some how they still can't take a return ? Honestly disappointed expected more from them but I guess I was wrong .
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
I came in today for the first time. I was one of those excited to purchase ivy park clothing. 2 employees on the floor were super nice and very helpful. When I was ready to check out, the young man at the counter stared at me and said absolutely nothing!! I greeted him and continued to speak to him as if I were the employee. It was very awkward! I don't think I will return!
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Undefeated is one of my favorite stores. The employees are super chill and it never feels like you have to buy something although you totally should. I like to go there for Nikes. Although this location is street parking only, I always luck out and find good parking without having to park in the meters. Another cool thing about Undefeated is that it is right next door to Stussy so it's perfect for going shopping for fresh new kicks then heading over to Stussy to find an outfit to match! Oh! Ladies, be careful with sitting on the bench to try on shoes. Although it's a super cute bench with a classy fountain, it's no fun if you accidentally knock your Michael Kors bag into the water. That happened to me. It was really cool that the employee asked me if my bag was ok and checked on it for me. Luckily, my bag was ok! Be aware of where you place your bag ladies! I hope this review helps you decide on where to pick up your next pair of kicks! :)
google avatar

Rogue B.

Yelp
Best shoe selection in Los Angeles. You can't beat Undefeated. Staff was dope, gear was cool and they carry bape! I don't know any other store in LA that carry's bape at retail price.

Colin D.

Yelp
NEVER SHOP HERE! Took 4 months to finally get them to agree to refund me for sending me defective shoes. I shipped them back a month ago and have emailed them many times and still no refund. Complete SCAMMERS and now I am out my money and my shoes.
google avatar

Dan R.

Yelp
These guys act like they're ready to fight you lol, zero understanding of customer service and how not to be a@#holes. Not sure why there team was soo useless in helping with shoes to try on. My GF and I were ready to spend close to $500 but this team truly blew it on multiple levels. I was hoping this was just an off day for them but looks like it's pretty consistent behavior with there other potential clients. I hope the owners read these reviews and can make some change. Just because you guys carry a decent selection of kicks doesn't mean you have to be soo arrogant.
google avatar

Mark J.

Yelp
Really good selection of sneakers here! What's not great are the unattentive staff. The store is overhyped and that spills over to the staff's attitude. However as I mentioned the product is really good. Lots of unusual Nike and Adidas that I have not seen in other stores.
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
The store is the worst store you could buy sneakers from or anything for that matter. Unless your as cool as the staff who somehow think they are better than their hourly wage .....lol......Store is corny and they have trash kicks. Hit the Santa Monica store at least the people can talk. D BAG central.

Yelp
Came in here with high expectations & hoping to see dozens of pairs of shoes... barely had any. Very limited styles & brands. It's a hype. Definitely better off going to Fairfax & finding a couple of sneaker shops with numerous options.
