Under Milkwood Chalets

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the staff and relaxed by the tranquil setting of the resort. It's nestled within metres of the Knysna Heads, right on the beach of Bollard Bay with perfect views of the lagoon. The resort is lush and maintained to perfection. At low tide, we could walk for miles on what was once water an hour or so before. Sunsets are magnificent. ||Under Milkwood is managed to perfection. We’ve visited Knysna few times in recent years but never stayed, and I’m so glad we stayed at Under the Milkwoods. We were travelling in a large group so booked most of the lodges which meant we pretty much had our own private beach too! The lagoon and beachfront are stunning and the views and sounds of the water are amazing! Definitely a favourite and we will be back! ||Definitely worth paying extra for the waterfront lodges too! We were in the Manchester Lodge and it was exceptional! Loved every minute!

What an incredible stay. Situated in the most Idyllic part of Knysna. The staff, especially Donné was super friendly and helpful. You can use the kayaks any time. The units was clean and had everything we needed. It felt like an amazing holiday. And I love the smell of the log chalets. A definite must stay if you are in Knysna. What a treat!

We loved our time at Under Milkwood Chalets. The chalet was in excellent condition. Beach on our doorstep, kayaks and paddle boards set out, ready to use. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you plan to visit Knysna.

We stayed at Number 11 at Under Milkwood, it was absolutely stunning. Such a beautiful house, incredibly clean, very spacious rooms with a fully stocked kitchen. The pool was amazing, and the easy access to the beach was so wonderful. |The kayaks and paddleboards were such a lovely addition. |The staff were so friendly, and it was a very safe area and easy access to a few restaurants and Knysna town. We would recommend it to anyone, and would love to go back.

We had the most incredible stay at Under Milkwood chalets. We have 2 small boys and they loved playing in the lagoon. The location is amazing, the chalet beautiful and cosy and it was a memorable holiday for all of us. The service and house keeping was impeccable and we can't wait to visit again! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit.

We enjoyed Christmas at Under Milkwood with our young adult children. We chose it for a few reasons:|As a self-catering option, it is a pleasure to cook in the well-respurced kitchens, having our accomodation serviced each day is a great holiday treat, being able to access beach, lagoon, our boat and nearby restaurants without driving creates a wonderful change of pace and the beautiful treed setting with lagoon views made it a wonderful Christmas break.|We appreciated the friendly service and will definitely return again and again.|Thank you for the attention to detail.

Curlew Cabin at Under Milkwood had everything we could ask for from a romantic Knysna holiday <3 Clean, cosy, welcoming, great location right at the Heads and amazing lagoon views. I wish we could have stayed longer. Hoping to visit again soon!
