Under Oaks Estate

This was a lovely place to stay and the weather made it all the more enjoyable with a pool and sun loungers accessible to us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was excellent with everything we could want including a very comfortable bed and pillows. One slight downside was that we needed the car to go to the main building for breakfast and dinner. However, the meals were delicious. The breakfast was different each day and most enjoyable. We had pizzas both nights as they were so good and were washed down with their excellent wine. A wine tasting on site was a bonus and we left with a purchase of a few bottles. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful setting but much left to be desired.|Set in vineyards, one would have expected a welcoming complimentary Under Oaks wine . |The rooms are spacious and lovely- clean and well kept, the beds are comfortable|Very friendly and helpful staff|Breakfast- sparse menu - in this type of establishment and at these prices I expected much more variety! The breakfast is very limited and Under Oaks should really have a serious look at the breakfast offerings!|Overall, a worthwhile trip BUT there is definite room for improvements.

Beautiful winery guesthouse just outside Paarl. The rooms are very nice and spacious and they have a cozy porch where the guests can sit and enjoy the view over the little pond and the delicious wine from the winery. The staff is super friendly and this place highly recommended for a romantic weekend.|

Had a lovely stay at Under Oaks Suites. Lovely comfortable rooms, great views overlooking the lake, friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely freshly prepared breakfast, and food in the restaurant in the evening was great too. Pizzas a speciality. Will definitely stay again.

A perfect venue for a stay in winelands. Easy to access the main connecting roads into the surrounding areas. Beautiful property and very quiet and peaceful.

Brilliant location, stunning view, very peaceful. Superb menu offering a wide selection of salads, pasta and pizza (including Banting bases).

From the moment we arrived my husband and I were made to feel very welcome. |We upgraded to a beautiful room with a terrace but the original room would have been great too!|A lovely place to stay that we’re keen to return to on our next visit to South Africa

Nice environment, but food is overpriced. My wife ordered the ribs for R265 and for the first time ever she finished her meal, more bone than meat, apparently a common complaint, according to the waitress. Definitely not worth it, it was my first time visiting and the last, not impressed
