Overall, my visit to Underwater World Langkawi was enjoyable, and it's a well-maintained attraction. If you have never been to a large aquarium before, you will likely be very impressed by the variety of marine animals and the fantastic underwater tunnel. Seeing sharks and giant stingrays swim over your head is a great experience. The penguin section was also a fun highlight.
However, the main issue is the price. The entrance fee of RM 60 for foreigners feels very high for what is offered. While the experience is good, it is not spectacular enough to justify this cost, especially when compared to other attractions in Langkawi or even larger aquariums in other parts of the world.
Verdict:
If you are new to this kind of attraction and don't mind the cost, you will have a good time. But for seasoned travellers or those on a budget, the RM 60 ticket price is not worth the money. You could likely spend that money on a more unique Langkawi experience.
