Undredal Fjord Apartments & Camping

We are a Norwegian couple on cartrip and stayed one night in august 2025. The price vas appr. EUR 300 for one small room, which is very expensive. |It is really a camping place.||We had booked and prepaid the full amount several days in advance. It is only possible to book though booking app Agoda. |We arrived at around 13.00 and were asked to come back one hour later due to cleaning. We came back after 2 hours, hoping that the cleaning would be finished. And after still another hour, a man appeared in the camping reception. ||Since we are experienced travellers, we had brought copies of all documentation from the booking process. I had even pictures of the confirmation that was given after the booking. So - in all other hotels, it would have been easy to just give us the roomkey.|But noo.. |I presented all the documentation to the man in the reception - but he told me to go away and wait for an e-mail. |When I told him I had not received any e-mail, he exploded and called me an idiot. I must go home and learn myself to use the phone.|(I am working as a head of accouting in a multinational industry consern - and are very updated in todays technology).||The reception guy continues to harraze me - and finally he called the big Boss for the campingplace.||After talking to the big Boss - it came clear that all information was availible in the reception all the time - and I got the roomnumber and the code from the big Boss.||So, if you can find another place, go there. Everything is better that this.||PS - the mail that he talked about, came at 21:15 that same night.

The scenery is fantastic, and the toilets are clean. We stayed with a tent for one night, with electricity included, for 400 NOK. The shower is paid. The price might be a bit too high. The biggest downside is that they tried to fit in as many guests as possible – tents are placed right next to each other.

Very rude staff. I do not recommend the camping. He put everyone too close. We heard our neighbors snore. Shared toilets and showers was not clean. Shower drain was clogged.

The owner was unbelievably rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. His attitude was aggressive and unpleasant from the start. we arrived and the pitch site was terrible — cramped, barely any space, and surrounded by noise. Definitely not a relaxing or enjoyable place to camp. Would never return. do not come

The owner was incredibly rude and unwelcoming from the start. He wouldn’t let us keep our car, and the way he spoke to us was downright repulsive. The camping space was tiny, crammed between cars, and nothing like what we expected. Avoid this place — the owner's attitude completely ruined the stay.

Nice staff, good service, clean toilets, shared bookshelf, shower (10nok/4min). Beautiful place, small camping spaces, river sounds puts you to sleep. Goat cheese shop nearby - Best brunost I've had!

Expensive campsite with stunning views but poor pitch allocation. For 1 tent with electricity, 3 nights €117. Online booked and paid via Campcation. When we arrived the owner wanted us to place the tent in the far right corner between 2 big caravans. With a view on the back of the caravans and the outside of a house. The electricity we paid for was more then 15m away. With the amount of money we paid for 3 nights, we did not concent. With some convincing we managed to get our tent on a normal "pitch". It is more like someones back garden. Showers are 50NOK but not always warm water. View is stunning though. Restaurant and a tiny shop are nearby. Maybe ok for one night or passing trough it is an ok camping.

Stayed in my campervan for the night. The campsite is a little bit small, but definetely worth visiting for the scenery!
