Undredal Stave Church

The village is nice it's niched right on the fjord and it's quite isolated. However I'm not sure it's worth the detour. And the church you can't see from the inside. You'll spend 30 min max in the village and leave. The road is long and beware of sheeps there.

It was quite nice to be allowed inside this historical church full of stories and memories since early ages. It's brining a lot of memories about changing culture and culture in surrounding areas. Though it's an important historical monument it's not really flabbergasing and it doesn't have a "wow factor" that you can expect- just a church.

They are all just so beautiful, aren’t they? Some require fee, some are free. This one you pay. Just take the walk to it for a quiet experience in this quaint town of Undredal.

Small, sweet, naive, yet full of meaning, stave church. Built in 1170, resonates of all the stories, lives, prayers of all the people who were there throughout centuries. It truly emotioned me.

An old church located in a picture perfect place worth a solid check and some time contemplating the astounding area.

I didn’t enter the church because it seemed that no entry was. The church looks really good and the view was absolutely stunning.
