Une nuit au second

A beautiful apartment home. Two large guestrooms with a very large shared living room. Each bedroom is very large with a king bed and a separate bathroom. All beautifully decorated. The host also lives here in the very separate 3rd bedroom. She was kind and welcoming. Very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the stay. The accommodation is super clean and even the towels smell great! The host is super welcoming and warm. The decor is very cool. A great option if you want to experience the French apartment. The location is great too!

Lovely spacious room in a nineteenth century apartment building. The building had a lift and the room had full ensuite facilities. Agnes was very friendly and helpful. Whilst breakfast wasn't included, there was a fridge so we were able to buy supplies at the supermarket so it was not a problem. Agnes kindly provided crockery/cutlery for our use. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Lyon. We had a lovely stay and would recommend

What an absolute hidden gem. When my husband told me we are staying in a room in someone’s house, I wasn’t sure what to expect but there was nothing I could fault with this property. From Agnes changing her schedule to accommodate our arrival to the absolutely perfect location walking distance to pretty much anywhere you need to go. The room we had was a large ensuite – better decorated and furnished than most 5 star hotels we have been to. The lovely living room was there for us to use and a well-stocked tea/ coffee station. There are many nice places for breakfast within 2 minutes walk. The station is a few minutes walk away as well.||Agnes was also super helpful in orientating us and helping us plan our visit. We would visit Lyons again just to stay here – and eat in those amazing restaurants.

This Bed and Breakfast has an interior design that could make many a luxury-design-hotel go green with envy. The spacious rooms are just gorgeous and the location of the place is perfect to both reach the shopping area as well as the old town of Lyon.||Although there was a small mishap with allocation of rooms when we arrived, the hosts immediately did their best to accommodate us in our new room as quickly as possible. They did not only recommend us an amazing restaurant but even took it on themselves to make a reservation for us. All in all it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning when we are in Lyon again.

Very nice large room/private bath ( shared living room space with one other rental unit). Nicely furnished with very comfortable bed. Great central location- easy walking to sites/stores/transit. Very helpful and accommodating owner. ||We ate breakfast at one of the number of bakeries within a few minutes walk. ||Take the Lyon City bus tour- hop on/hop off which gives you great orientation to the city.

Just back from a lovely stay at this beautiful guesthouse. The rooms are very stylish and thoughtfully decorated. The location is perfect for sightseeing in Lyon and Sylvain and Agnes are the perfect hosts who made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful. Would have no hesitation in recommending une nuit au second as a place to stay in Lyon! Emily

A lovely room, great shower, convienent location near popular attractions. Add to that an ample breakfast (by European standards) that included wonderfully fresh bread, croissant, juice, milk, yoghurt, coffee, fresh fruit and cereal along with a selection of jams. The host was both welcoming and helpful in suggesting restaurants, the best place to park our car and in answering our questions. The common areas are nicely decorated and my 8 year-old daughter even fell asleep on one of what she called ' fainting sofas' ;). The price is perfectly commensurate with the accommodations and it's in a nice, quiet street so we slept well in the large and comfortable bed. Definitely recommended!
