The best coffee that I have had in Dublin. If you are in the area, it is a must visit. All the equipment and knowledge to make the perfect cup. Simple place with a great brew!

Is there a Michelin star system for coffee? I’m not sure, but if there is one - Unfiltered should be on it. We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon, and spent about an hour in the shop. It was a bit of a pilgrimage for us to come here, and it made me sad to read other reviews that said service is slow. Yes it’s slow but for a reason - it’s attentive. Our server was juggling several things at a time: multiple sit in customers and loads of takeaway customers. I noticed that most of them he knew on either first name or even fist-bump terms. Unfiltered seems like the type of community spot where people naturally congregate, and in that hour we happily people-watched (and dog watched) between sips, chatted with our server and planned the day ahead. The filter coffee was phenomenal, - the best I’ve ever had. It makes sense that our server had a chemistry background because it felt like every molecule of coffee in the cup was optimised for taste. We stumbled out of Unfiltered giddy and buzzing from not just the caffeine but from our whole experience <3

Best coffee experience but I have been waiting for the to open on time twice. At least 20min after the opening hours. If they are not punctual I’m not sure if it’s actually “the best experience”. This time I waited 30min and left.

Awesome! The best, expert specialty coffee shop. True depth of knowledge, excellent beans, great service. Science applied to the brewing process. Cannot recommend enough. Worth the trip.

Unfiltered is easily the best coffee shop I have gone to for pour over coffee. The love for the art and science of coffee is undeniably on display and I saw nothing but joy in wanting to share that. I always try to go to any coffee shop that offers pour overs wherever I'm visiting because most don't and from just trying a lot of different pour overs all the time, I had come to notice myself how much temperature can affect the taste, but I had never put the extra step into it to really think about what those specific temperatures are. Getting a pour over here was an awesome science lesson in getting to have those specific values with an explanation provided to go along with it. And I absolutely loved the taste testing with adding different minerals and how that has its own impact. Just from start to finish, loved the whole visit. They also offer plenty of quick, coffee-to-go options if that's what you're looking for/need, but if you want to really dig into what coffee has to offer then I cannot think of a better place to start.

What a great experience! My partner and I had the best pour-over coffee. We were so immersed in the flavors that we didn’t even want to drink water, wanting to let the aftertaste linger a little longer. We were recommended to try our coffees at different temperatures and it was a game changer. Definitely planning to come back soon!

The best coffee in Dublin. Period. Juljano truly knows his craft—his passion for coffee shows in every cup. Unfiltered isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a proud institution of Inchicore, carrying the same character and charm as the neighborhood itself. The vibe is always welcoming, and the filtered coffees blow my mind every single time, no matter how often I go. It’s my go-to spot to bring anyone visiting me in Ireland. One thing to know: come with no rush. As a true coffee expert, Juljano takes his time with each customer, giving everyone his full attention. You might have to wait a bit, but once it’s your turn, you feel it’s worth every second. That care and dedication are part of what makes this place so special.

Wanted to hate this place, the idea of an elitist coffee experience made me take pause. However the coffee is simply delicious and well worth the trip. Easily the best coffee I have had in Dublin and while the thermometer might seem like theatrics, the ceremony it brings actually adds to the taste. Don’t bother with the pastries (stale), they don’t do any food and while dogs are welcome, not somewhere I would bring kids. Will most certainly make a pilgrimage back, worth every penny.
