Unglert's Bakery, Health Shop

Really authentic bakery, shop and service, it really matters that places of character and people of excellent ability continue to trade in Ireland. Thank you for your lovely bread , croissants and apple turner over.

One of the best bakeries we have ever visited. We are from Spain and stopped by after being drawn to it. Upon entering, we were welcomed by a charming German couple. They were delightful, and the place had a warm, family atmosphere that made conversation enjoyable. They were wonderful and even prepared coffee for us to take away. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the pastries and coffee. We highly recommend it for anyone passing through the town, and we will definitely return one day.

We came across this bakery by chance during our trip to Ireland while searching in vain for bakeries in this country. The owner was very friendly and the baked goods were fantastic! We bought scones, a loaf of bread and apple strudel. After trying the first apple strudel in the car outside the bakery, we went straight back into the shop and bought more pastries. The puff pastry of the apple strudel tastes heavenly and you can tell that the nice gentleman knows his trade with the other baked goods too. Warmest recommendation!

We have been there two days ago, we bought a great amount of patisserie and i can’t explain how good is everything. Very kind person and an incredible spot. Highly recomended.

This bakery is a hidden gem. It's not that difficult to find if you are visiting Ennistymon but my God is it worth your while !....... We've sampled the soda bread BUT y'all need to eat the pastries and you'll find that you are all hooked on great tastes and flavors and dodging the traffic to go back and eat some more.

Have visited this Bakery twice now and it's a real gem. The owner is a lovely guy and obviously passionate about his cakes and breads. The scones are the best I've had in ages and the apple strudel is divine.

Small bakery with items baked at the location. We stopped in for a quick pastry. Very tasty.

Chances are you drove past this small charming bakery on your way to the Cliffs of Moher, and chances are you didn't even bother to stop in this charming tiny town of Ennisytmon. Real locals were coming in and out of Unglert's, taking with them some tasty homemade pastries. We got some too! There's a nice selection of goods under 1 euro, some under 2 euro. Good stuff! Unglert, a friendly fellow, saw us taking a photo of his shop outside, so he decided to get into the photo with me, and even gave me a free postcard so that we would remember his charming, tasty bakery. As for the pants Unglert was wearing that day? Spectacular! :)

If you do anything, stop here! The apple turnovers are to die for! Apple strudel is divine, not to mention the lemon and chocolate cake we took to go. My only regret was not taking several more apple turnovers! Delicious!
