UNI Youth Hostel

Location is perfectly central, in a quiet area. The reception is super friendly and kind. The hostel rooms are pretty basic, there is no AC so it can get hot in the room which was the biggest downside. Definitely less of a social hostel but still good.

Apartment was very clean and roomy, but with minimum furniture even for a hostel - it would be useful to have bedside table and some additional light source (e.g. a night lamp). However my experience was good, staff was nice and helpful, location is great. The relaxation zone is a nice idea. Breakfasts (extra paid) were very good with a large selection of products including local meats and cheeses. I have never eaten fried cabbage for breakfast anywhere else and it was delicious :-)

Excellent location and surprisingly quiet for it, nice staff. Parking is given first come first serve (paid on arrival), so keep that in mind. Rooms have a fan but no AC, which isn't that big of a deal, but bathrooms don't even have a fan. Beds were not comfortable at all, the mattress is way too soft and pillows too flat to be pleasant. There's one common room that's not accessible from the outside even though it has a door to the parking lot. Reasonable for the price

Very good rooms: quite, comfortable beds. But please don't promote your hotel with parking as you can't provide it! First of all it is not possible to find how to go to the entrance by car and you never answered us neither in email neither in WhatsApp. We had to park 300 meters far and bring heavy suitcases and the baby to the hotel. But the location is perfect for city lovers.

I stayed one night in November and rented a single room. The location is excellent, the staff is friendly and the room would be fine if the cleanliness was not at such a low level. The toilet stank of urine, there was what looked like some sort of excrement on the edge of the bed. Fortunately, I had disinfecting wipes with me and cleaned up first. This really spoiled my stay there, because I didn't dare to touch anything anymore. Lower price should not mean dirty! Fortunately, only one night.. but the next time I'd rather go somewhere else.

Friendly staff, great location in the center of the town. The room is very basic. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is small, but the shower pressure is great. We got the room with private bathroom. Everything is in walking distance, lots to eat and drink. Will recommend this place.

The location is great - right in the heart of the old town. The staff are really nice and professional. The rooms are basic, but for a hostel they are very good quality - comfy beds, private bathroom, plenty of storage. This feels more like a 1-2 star hotel than a hostel and I think it's a great place if you are only staying in Maribor for a couple of days.

The location of the hostel is perfect and we got a place in the tiny parking lot because it was January. Breakfast was excellent, the staff was kind and helpful, the room is sufficiently comfortable. The only shortcoming was the strong smell coming from the falafel buffet in the street below. It was everywhere, even in our room. I assume they don't have any filtration equipment at all.
