I’m giving this place a five because it is the closest to a grocery store around. I didn’t realize they have a section in the back that sells a large variety of staples such as cereal, pasta, and canned goods. It’s a clean place given all the people that come through. The best part is the owner who mans the cash register. He is very kind and accommodating. Only gas station for miles around if you are heading east.

Open long hours, competitive gas prices and surprising variety of grocery items on the back room in addition to the usual convenience store items up front. You pay for the convenience, but you can get a can of beans or bottle of salad dressing without going to Ocean View or Hilo. Very nice,friendly Aloha people. A great and appreciated resource.

Vernon is always very helpful. He filled my propane tank and helped me carry groceries and bags of ice to my car. This gas station and convenience store is a blessing to our little community.

Glad its in town. Convenient for gas. Hate the parking lot. Dislike that they let vehicles park for shopping in gas area.

We grabbed milk and some supplies we needed for our accommodation in Naalehu. The store is small but has the items that you would mostly find in any convenience stores. Prices are reasonable. This is also your last stop on the Hwy 11 for gas until Kea’au

We passed by and bought a couple of different kind of bottles of drinks! Great service at the counter, I asked the lady if I can take an empty cup and she simply said yes!Thanks.

Can get congested sometimes as the only gas station in the area. Patience is a virtue as locals also do some of their food shopping here as well. A larger and better supplied market addition is in the back with a lot more parking.

Basic gas station ... you can fill your vehicle with gas and buy a drink and snack. The counter clerk was very nice and helpful.

ive lived in Na'alehu for 20 years. This store is not a community friendly store . The owner is literally Pennie's under price gouging. Knowing we live in a rural area and it's the only store in our community they take advantage over it with skying prices . Not to mention the staff is rude and needs a lesson in customer service. They don't know how to count back change and lack professionalism and a lot of reverse discrimination . And hostile environment. My safety was compromised when I complained about the price of something turned into a threat where as the store clerk wanted to meet up after work @ 6!. It would be nice for someone from Naalehu to operate this store, someone thats more for the community and is positive. And value their customers!

Very convenient gas station and convenience store. It's a perfect little rest stop in Na'alehu. They provide many basic goods for the community and it's very convenient for tourists who need something to eat on the way to black sand beach or volcano.

This little mini mart was a life saver. Driving from Punalu'u to Kona in the evening there isn't much to see or eat. Stopped for some snacks and was surprised by the little store in the back. Grabbed some Costco type hot dogs and had to go back in 3 times because my kids were so hungry. Cashier was friendly. She was busy but still flashed a smile.

Somehow my reviews in this area got mixed up, but this little place is definitely worth a visit as well. It's a combination gas station/minimart/Costco products. They stay open until 11 PM, which is a huge thing around here. You can probably find just about everything you need in this market. The back room holds the Costco stuff, so you can save yourself the long trip to Costco. If you're looking for a sign that says mini mart, you might be out of luck. Just look for the gas station. The man who helped me at the counter was very friendly and thanked me for my small purchase. We only got a gallon of water and a popsicle, because I really just came to have a look. It was kind of busy, in the evening. The price of gas was reasonable and not gouging.

Driving from Pahoa to Ka'u this was the only gas station open on Christmas day (2022) so needless to say they were a lifesaver. Other reviews suggest that they have pre-made bentos for sale. However, when I was there the only thing left was chowder and it did not sound appetizing. I quickly got my gas and something sweet and made my way. The staff was great and they were clearly busy even for small town.

This is a fun market/gas station that is located just down the street from Punalu'u bakery. There honestly is not much food on this side of the island, so this is a convenient place to pick up some bentos if you're headed to the volcano for the day. We swung by here during the morning and they had breakfast style fried rice available and some musubis. We grabbed a few and this fueled us for our trip to the volcano that day. The food was flavorful and exactly what we needed after a long hike. From what I can tell from other reviews, it looks like their menu items change frequently so you may be in for a surprise when you swing by for a visit!

Good place to stop for snacks and a quick lunch if you are in the area as there aren't many options. There are hot foods available so I got fried rice and a spam musubi!

I really appreciate the store to "save" my life! There was one time, my car was stuck at Papakōlea Green Sand Beach at night time. Until late night, the car was pulled out from the sand. All the restaurants were closed that time. I was so hungry. Wiki Wiki Mart was the only one which was still opening. However, it took some time to drive to there. They close at 11:00PM. The GPS showed I would arrive there around 11:15PM. I called the store. The guy who was working there super kind. He waited for me and prepared bento boxes. The food gave me the energy to drive another 2.5 hours back to the hotel! If I have a chance to Hilo again, I will definitely to meet with the guy who helped me that time again! It's a very warm hearted store!

Found this place on Yelp and it really is like a mini grocery store and has a back part that has even more selections. Definitely recommend to pick up snacks and the Musubi was yummy too! They also have fresh fruit and it was so delicious! Plus if you want to try Hawaiian good they have a whole special area of authentic goods and eats. Staff wears masks as well.

Quick service food store/gas station with grab and go bento boxes. From talking to the lady that worked there, they make a different one each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are about $6.50/box, and we took them back to the hotel along with a few hotdogs for dinner. The short ribs box was very good as was the chili. I am picky about chili sometimes, but this was very tasty and filling. They do have a small grocery store in the back room for kitchen/household supplies too. A good stop on our way to Volcano National Park.

This gas station convenience store boasts a "bulk items" portion in the back that is straight up Costco items. The markup isn't that bad and it saves the residents of the area quite a drive to Kona. I went in to get breakfast provisions as my morning negotiations would start before the breakfast places in town opened and it was PACKED. The store was pretty hot with no AC and not much to look at decor and display wise, but the fridges were cold and shelves well stocked and its bare-bones look does carry with it a certain special charm. The manager told me it was packed because this time of the month is when EBTs get reloaded. He also told me that all the other Wiki Wiki's had shut down on the island but this one was going strong. I'm really cheering for this locally owned business and hope it and other mom and pops like it can survive. It seems to really fill a need in the community and I really appreciate that the bulk Kirkland items aren't marked up really high which certainly helps local families.

I had a low pressure warning for one of my tires. I didn't need any gas, so I was worried that if I asked them about getting some air they might be annoyed. No way! They loaned me a portable compressor, which I took out to the car and used to fix the problem. When I went back in, I offered to pay, but they said No, that it was a service they offered. I was impressed. A lot of places would either have made it hard, or asked for money.

This is the only gas station in Na'alehu. They have fresh coffee, slippers, liquor including Patron, local premade food and more.

Small gas station and market. Has many of the daily grocery items you may need without having to leave town. Could use more grocery items as they have the space.
