I sat there with an iced latte sweating gently in my hand, a bowl of pasta twirling its way into my afternoon, and a dessert that felt almost too decadent to touch. And I couldn't help but wonder... was indulgence really about satisfying hunger, or was it about filling that little void inside of us that craves sweetness? As I watched couples around me sharing bites and smiles, my mind wandered to Anthony and Giuseppe. How did a man so cynical about love suddenly stumble upon something so tender, so real? Maybe relationships, just like dessert, come when you least expect them, served with a little surprise, and melting before you can question if you deserve it.

Amazing experience at Union Cafe! The food was incredible—fresh, high-quality ingredients and full of flavor. The service was prompt and very friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and spacious. Great for families, friends, or a coffee break. Definitely worth every penny. Can't wait for my next visit!

Amazing burgers. Fried chicken sandwich was also quite amazing (just a little under seasoned but I could add Tabasco). Everything was perfect but the cakes were frankly quite bad. Chocolate pudding cake’s sauce was a bit too watery and bland and the pudding part was too much gelatine. Pistachio cake was quite mediocre considering the price (115k before tax).

Celebrate Mom’s birthday in Union with sweet treats and Mas Reza is super helpful. Really appreciate his effort for making the experience unforgettable

We came here looking for desserts after dinner and I personally think we found a good spot here. Food: Cakes we ordered were good, 'red velvet', 'ube velvet', and old fashioned chocolate paired it with local coffee. I must say I wasnt a fan of red velvet but this time i liked it. Ube was good, chocolate was good and i like the fact that it wasnt sweet. Service: it was great and they were friendly and fast to assist Atmosphere: was good, its like a hangout vibe when you are with friends to enjoy cake or doughnut and coffee in a fancier place.

The food are good especially the OG Red Velvet, also tried the Salt Bread Truffle Ham & Cheese and White Chocolate Macadamia Doughnut, they were fabulous! The service also great! (thank you for the help kak Gabrielle ☺️) Overall the experience are beyond expectation, will definitely come back to this branch of Grand Indonesia ✨

Okay now start with the bad one first which is the cheesy fries(?) Good fries though but well, those toppings are so odd. Artificial cheese, weird spicy palette. I mean it’s not a bad food but just not something on my cup of tea and i believe most of Indonesian too. Calamari is BOMB! One of the best fried calamari so far. Because of the limited spaces, i feel like you can’t really get the intimate feel you would’ve expected, it’s just mixed sound all over the places. Sound from the kitchen, customers, the music, and also people outside the Union area.

The service was superb. The price is a lil bit in the high end. I tried the bombolini. It tasted okay, the filling was full, and not to sweet. However, it was quite oily, maybe this can be improved.
