I sat there with an iced latte sweating gently in my hand, a bowl of pasta twirling its way into my afternoon, and a dessert that felt almost too decadent to touch.
And I couldn't help but wonder... was indulgence really about satisfying hunger, or was it about filling that little void inside of us that craves sweetness?
As I watched couples around me sharing bites and smiles, my mind wandered to Anthony and Giuseppe. How did a man so cynical about love suddenly stumble upon something so tender, so real? Maybe relationships, just like dessert, come when you least expect them, served with a little surprise, and melting before you can question if you deserve it.
