Union Hill Kitchen & Craft Bar is one of those neighborhood spots that feels both elevated and comfortable — perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or weekend brunch. It replaced a longtime local favorite and quickly made its mark with a menu that blends New American classics with creative, contemporary twists, plus a wide selection of craft cocktails, local beers, and wine.
I really enjoy the atmosphere here — it’s lively but not pretentious, with a spacious bar area, indoor-outdoor seating when weather’s good, and an upstairs lounge with a balcony that makes it great for groups or just relaxing with a drink. Small plates like crispy short rib bites, grilled halloumi and flatbreads are fun to share, and mains like honey gochujang salmon, braised beef pappardelle, or a juicy Union Hill burger hit the spot with thoughtful flavors and quality ingredients.
Service has generally felt friendly and attentive, and they’re good about accommodating dietary needs (including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options). It also feels like a community place — cozy but energetic without being too loud.
Overall: A tasteful, relaxed, and versatile restaurant with creative dishes and craft drinks — great for casual nights, brunch with friends, or celebrations in Brewers Hill.
