This is a beautiful park on the New Bern waterfront. The pavilion is a great place to just pull out a chair and watch the gorgeous view. The waterfront with beautiful views of the bridge is so relaxing and makes for great photography moments. The paved walkway malkes it's way around the whole waterfront. We really enjoyed watching sailboats dock for a day trip. Free parking is just a short walk before the bridge near the hotel.

Nice views at this park. They really do like their flower decorations here - it is clear about that. Also saw a duck standing on water. The water looked amazing

Beautiful place to sit and watch the river 😊 lots of open spaces for kids to play as well as a few playground spaces. My only negative was I didn't see a public restroom although that might be my error.

I love coming out to Union Point at sunrise. All the ducks and birds on the water, I’ve seen dolphins too. Such a lovely walk.

We walked along here in the evening and found it to be clean and offered plenty of benches. There was a duck/fish food dispenser with MANY ducks that know the drill. There were also a lot of fish that came up to be fed.

We drove by this park several times during the day, but we passed by one night after dark and the holiday light display drew us in. What fun it was to walk around the different lights, a bear, an alligator, penguins ice fishing, a snowman and Santa. And a huge (25 foot or more) lighted tree. The decorations all through the historic downtown area were beautiful. What a wonderful surprise for children and adults alike.

My favorite place in New Bern to just sit and enjoy the views. There’s plenty of free parking and public restrooms are available. A cute park for kiddos and lots of seating options along the Riverwalk. This park alone is a great starting point for a nice walk through New Bern. So many cute shops and attractions all around the area! Dogs are allowed (leashed), there’s a picnic area and a small free library to browse.

Omg I love this place Union Point Park in New Bern, NC, is a scenic six-acre park located at the confluence of the Neuse and Trent rivers. Historically, it was a site for commercial sawmills, seafood processing, and a government dock, but by the 1920s, it had become a city dump. In 1931, the New Bern Woman's Club spearheaded a project to transform the area into a park, with the help of city labor and later, W.P.A. funds. Today, it's a popular spot for recreation, events, and enjoying waterfront views. You can even go there just to relax and take a nap while feeling the breeze and sun it’s my favorite place all year round. I Love the decorations in fall and winter you can take great pictures and enjoy the good vibes, I have seen many people doing a photo session there it’s a great place for it too. And yo take your telescope 🔭 and see the moon 🌕 in front of the sea 🌊 it’s a great experience, it’s a perfect place for a picnic as well, and you can fish 🎣 in there, with a great view and it’s sooo soo soo soooo cool when the bridge opens up and the big boat 🚤 goes through it. It’s the perfect place to enjoy with your loved ones. . . . . . Great restaurant around, nice people everywhere.
