My favorite place in New Bern to just sit and enjoy the views. There’s plenty of free parking and public restrooms are available. A cute park for kiddos and lots of seating options along the Riverwalk. This park alone is a great starting point for a nice walk through New Bern. So many cute shops and attractions all around the area! Dogs are allowed (leashed), there’s a picnic area and a small free library to browse.

We drove by this park several times during the day, but we passed by one night after dark and the holiday light display drew us in. What fun it was to walk around the different lights, a bear, an alligator, penguins ice fishing, a snowman and Santa. And a huge (25 foot or more) lighted tree. The decorations all through the historic downtown area were beautiful. What a wonderful surprise for children and adults alike.

Beautiful view of the bay. It has an area where birds and ducks come to eat. Nice to walk and for children to play. It has clean bathrooms, parking. You can take photos with the some bears nearby.

Beautiful holiday light display, great small aircraft airshow/drone show for the holidays. Feeding the ducks, sunrises, sunsets, hurricanes, city transient docks, small boat launch, walking distance to everything downtown, and you’ll never meet a miserable person there. Really great spot all around

Took my first morning walk to this park today. It winds along the river with great picturesque scenery.

Even though it was a very hot day, we still had a great time. There was lots of entertainment, food and cold drinks. First time seeing the Raft Race, and we will definitely go back next year.

This little nice riverfront park welcomes you as soon as you enter New Bern. Located on the shore of Neuse River. When I visited it was a bit windy and chilly but I still enjoyed my time there. Good facilities like Picnic Area, benches all over the park, restrooms. Kids really enjoy feeding food to ducks around. Walking trail passes by this park which covers this nice town. Couple of swings for kids. Visited park Sunday Morning around 10 AM so did not have any parking issues.
