Union Station, one of the busiest stations in North America, is located on Front Street in downtown Toronto. It is a huge station and is a hub for a variety of transportation options -- buses, the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission), a rapid train to the airport (the UP Express), and VIA rail trains.
Due to my brief stay in Toronto, I didn't have a chance to explore the station and all the amenities, so I can't give a proper review of the station. However, one amenity that I did take advantage of on a couple of occasions was the washroom. I was fearful that it would be similar to the washrooms located in Vancouver's pathetic excuse of a train station, which is disgusting, but the washrooms were extremely clean, and in fact, there was an employee actively cleaning the washroom on one occasion. No complaints about the washrooms or the cleanliness.
Union Station is in a fantastic location -- near several attractions (the CN Tower and the aquarium, for example), sports stadiums, and several hotels (it was right across from our hotel, the Fairmont Royal York). It was also easy to connect to Toronto's subway system as the subway stops at Union Station. A great location for both locals and tourists.
