"This incredibly well-stocked shop has all the makings of the perfect wardrobe for sartorially-conscious guys. The buy here is focused on craftsmanship and longevity, not trends, which translates to tidy stacks of Alex Mill shirting, Gant Rugger knits, Mackintosh raincoats, and shelves lined with heritage Wolverine work boots. This place does not stand behind the quality of the clothing they sell. We bought a pretty expensive (~$60) t-shirt from them a few weeks ago. After the first wear holes appeared by the seams where the chest pocket is. We went back and asked them what they could do about it and they said “nothing,” saying the rip is due to customer misuse. No objects were placed in the pocket and it was worn as a normal.. t-shirt? Not sure what kind of misuse could cause this to happen. Today, we saw the second rip on the other side since sewing the first one. We won’t be going back if they can’t provide follow up service for those who support their business!

I didn't end up buying anything, but I have known about them for awhile. Their selection is obviously smaller than online, but I appreciated being able to see some of their selection in person. They had a good mix of brands and styles from workwear to Japanese Americana. This isn't really a place to find cheap clothes, however it is a place to find nicely constructed and more fashion forward clothing.

This store is a great little find within the Castro in San Francisco. Great fashionable clothes that are made to last. Yes, hefty price tags, but you pay for what you get. Just make sure to bring your wallet once because you'll want to buy. Or don't bring your wallet, cause they've got new ones for you to buy.

A versatile selection of unique clothing and accessories. The brand list is one of the best in the bay: Levi's Vintage Clothing, Alden, Kapital, RRL, and much more. Their selection has something for everyone, from modern to heritage and everything in between. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in high quality clothing.

Beautifully laid-out men’s clothing store with unique brands and one-of-a-kind items. A range of designers and styles but all well made using the finest fabrics. Truly something for everyone. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly team who know how and when to help but are never pushy.

Great selection of clothing, well merchandized. The first room is some lower end brands (Alex Mill, Reyn Spooner, Far Afield etc.) and the back room is some of the hard to find jawnz (Kapital, A Kind of Guise, Alden etc). Very nice selection of Kapital where I was very pleased to find they had quite a few rare items yet to be uploaded on their website. As a first time visitor to the store, this made it worth going. Lastly, the store staff was very attentive and helpful. This was illustrated by how they provided me with a map of the city and other clothing stores and restaurants worth visiting. If you want some beautiful, well made, hard to find clothes this is a great spot.

I look for Japanese shirt makers like Haversack when I'm inn Zurich at VMC and they recommended Unionmade when the found I visited San Francisco often. Sure enough I've been able to find a couple shirts there too. My problem is I'm 6 ft and Japanese shirts run really small for obvious reasons. So to score a interesting denim shirt that actually fits is a score. Here's the place.

A beautiful store full of an amazing selection of very fine menswear and nice books. It's like the old Abercrombie and Fitch--rustic, informal and semiformal, well-made to last decades, of high quality fabrics and hence very comfortable that gets only more comfortable with wear. From happy ages past.
