AVOID THIS UNIQLO!!! Giving 1 star cause it’s the lowest I can give. I’ve been shopping at UNIQLO around the world for more than a decade and this is the worst experience I ever had.
Waited at least 10 minutes in the tax free line, and I was not greeted by the cashier. He then passed on his work midway to his colleague and she helped me for the rest of the payment procedure. However when I leave the building the safety alarm rang and I was refrained from leaving. Without a clue one of the staffs at the entrance who does not speak english start pulling all my items from the bag, counting then scanning it without trying to explain the situation. It was like I attempted to steal something. It was when she nearly finish counting and scanning and double checking all items when I finally had to ask her if she can explain the situation to me when a staff who speaks english finally came. Turns out both of your staffs at the cashier did not double check the items. The number of items is correct, but one of the items was mis-scanned (a pair of socks was replaced by a heattech that I didn’t even purchase). Took me at least 20 minutes to go through the whole ‘proofing I’m not a thief’ procedure, the refund procedure, then the tax free procedure again. Only your english speaking staff was apologetic, but the same male staff at the cashier and the other lady staff didn’t even appeared to be sorry. This is a very disappointing experience in Uniqlo. If you are using the new-built auto scanning machine I would expect your hired staffs to double check with hand. Besides, the english-speaking staff who was not involved in the whole procedure was the only one apologising for the mistakes she didn’t even make. Didn’t expect an international business to push their english-speaking staff in the frontline in such dirty manner. Overall just a super disappointing experience.
