Uniqlo Tokyo

The best Uniqlo experience is here at this massive outlet which is far more impressive than their 12 storey flagship. Everything every brand Uniqlo has to offer is here. Ultra spacious and friendly polite staffs here than the ones at the flagship. Did lots of shopping here, so much to see and buy and spacious custom print department. Immediate tax free deductions at their tax free queue.

The store is massive, with multiple floors offering everything from basic essentials to special collections and limited-edition collaborations. What I really liked is how organized everything is, despite the size, it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. Staff are helpful, and tax-free service for tourists is quick and smooth. They also have a good range of sizes and self-checkout machines that make shopping super convenient. Perfect spot for stocking up on quality basics, stylish outerwear, or picking up something unique you won’t find in other branches. Highly recommend dropping by, especially if you’re already exploring the Ginza area.

They have a Uniqlo cafe in there with reasonably priced drinks. Refresh and shop more! Please remember to pay before going up to the other levels like Gu and Daiso. We triggered the alarm as we were distracted by shopping. The Uniqlo staff were so helpful. They held on to our Uniqlo items and when we came back down then make payment as tax refund can only be processed at ground level counter.

I respect cultural differences, but having to take my shoes off just to use the fitting room was a bit of a hassle. I also found it slightly annoying that I had to ask staff for permission to try things on, but I was willing to let that slide. ​However, the real issue was the staff's attitude. I tried on two different sizes of the same item and when I told them I wasn't going to buy it because it didn't look right on me, the employee’s face completely changed. She wouldn't even acknowledge me or return my "thank you" after that. The attitude was absolutely tr&sh. It was honestly so disrespectful. Plus, it’s really no different from the Uniqlo where i live in. You can totally skip it. Don’t even bother going.

A message to the management of Uniqlo. The trouble with Uniqlo Tokyo is that very little of the clothes they sell will fit me. I buy XXL in most clothes sizes in New Zealand. An occasional XL item such as a bulky cardigan or T-shirt might fit but the effort of sorting through all the nice but too small clothes is just frustrating and is to the dozens of large European men I talked to while waiting for my wife to add to her wardrobe. If I wanted to increase sales in this shop I would stock an XXL corner and staff it with English/European language speaking staff. It would need good English language signage to attract the customers. I know Uniqlo stock their Australian shops with XXL clothes, why don't you make it available in at least the main Ginza shop? I have spent 3-5 hours total in this shop over three visits and I would guess there was ALWAYS at least 10 to 20 large European men on the ground floor ALL THE TIME I WAS THERE! That is an amazing number of potential clients this shop is ignoring. Try this as a pop-up shop in the neighbourhood if you can't change your existing shop layout. Build it and we big people will come! I can't speak for women as my Asian wife loves the clothes she buys, but I am sure the same applies for larger European women.

The staff were so attentive and helpful. I fumbled a choice and they had to go through the whole process of finding the right fit for me but they never made any hint of annoyance. Much respect to their professionalism and help. Would come back again if' not for their quality clothes but for their staff resourcefulness

Huge unique store that has many animation collaboration items available for sale.

HUGE Uniqlo. This is their flagship store so if you care about visiting the flagship, then the selection here is definitely the largest. It is very crowded and the wait times for the trial rooms are more than 30 min at times. We spent almost 2 hours here and didn’t buy anything because it was so overwhelming. I would recommend going to any other location because they are all well stocked and Uniqlo exists in every major neighborhood in Tokyo. There’s a cafe which is cool but there’s also a wait and seats are usually taken.
