Google
Scored some amazing vintage finds at this thrift store! The prices are unbeatable, and the selection changes often. It’s my favorite spot for budget-friendly treasures. Always leave with something cool!

Google
Great selection of women’s clothes that are reasonably priced. Take a look at the books there too! There are some fun reads.

Google
Great place. My sister's and I were looking for interview clothes and found some beautiful sleek black pants from guess and a button down white top. There clothes are affordable (some thrift shops are pricey). The lowest priced item I saw was $5 t shirts and highest was $50 pink coat I bought from DKNY.

Google
Good people, they are very helpful, I took lots of clothes and vintage accessories, for a very cheap price. They are the best

Google
I fell in love with this store at first sight. It is quaint and cozy. Lots of interesting things to buy. I found a cute touch lamp (5 bucks) and mustard seed necklace.

Google
The staff were nice, the selection is great, prices are great. You get a discount if you use cash. Spectacular place!

Matty in the front is always nice. The donations go to a church in Queens. The business has been here for 13 years.

Google
Unique Boutique has very fair prices on an assortment of second hand items. There are books, CDs, DVDs, clothes and housewares. I particularly like the selection of men's t-shirts. Also they have sneakers and dress shoes.

Yelp
Unique Boutique has a store in my block Upper East Side. When I'm in this West Side neighborhood I visit this location. I am sure I took lots of photos and did a review but they're not posted here. Bottom line is they have a wide variety of unusual items that people donate. I really enjoy looking and sometimes I find a nik knack for my daughter! There's always CD's and books too. I'm recommending you visit either location.

Yelp
called to see about furniture, I was told they do not do Furniture and the guy hung up the phone

Yelp
I dig this place! It's got that old school thrift store feel. Yeah, it's haphazardly organized; yeah, you've got to put in some time and effort to find gems. But gems there are, and for mostly cheap prices. The only article of clothing I've ever paid more than $9.99 for here has been a nice Anthropologie skirt for $20. I find this refreshing as the prices at more "curated" thrift stores like Buffalo Exchange have been steadily creeping upward, even for fast fashion brands. But what really makes Unique Boutique, well, unique to me is the assortment of non-clothing goods for sale like dish-ware, artwork, books, DVDs etc. You're bound to find an interesting random read, and it's only $1 for soft covers and $2 for hardcovers! On my last visit I walked away with a near mint copy of Epictetus' Discourses for only a buck. Which made me pretty happy lol.

Yelp
Love this place, I've lived in the area for a few years and this has always been my favourite thrift store. Great staff also!

Yelp
Went in not expecting much, especially considering all the cheap and tacky knickknacks decorating the store front, but found that you can score some cute and interesting items if you search. I recommend browsing the bk shelves (one near the front right of the store and another in the back right, by the sole fitting room). Paperbacks are $1 and hardcovers $2 each. Bought 2 hardcovers of Aesop's Fables in good condition with slightly yellowed pages and Robinson Crusoe in perfect condition. Women's dresses and shoe selections weren't impressive, but the real star is the store's selection of tops. You can find super cute and unique pieces. Tops range from $4-8 each. Bought 2! I would recommend giving yourself a good 20-30 mins to browse.

Yelp
Very arrogant Staff. Over the years we come here to donate our stuff but every single time we are treated badly. We're not expecting a thank you. But the attitude that they show makes me walk five blocks to the next shop.

Yelp
The best thrift store ever! Has high quality product at reasonable prices. I have seen several other thrift stores marketing themselves as vintage and marking up prices to more than the garment is worth. Not this place. It makes good clothing affordable to everyone. Great location great staff. Especially now that so many mass market budget retailers has went out of business. It's places like this that are a blessing to many.

Yelp
Shopped here for my friend's birthday because she is a huge boutique fan. Lots of cool stuff here. The person at the counter was not so nice, could have been a bit friendlier. Price range here is affordable (but not as cheap as a thrift store), not going to be very expensive. This place also has some neat jewelry. Got some earrings and bracelet for my friend here. Clothes are not arranged by size so if you do not mind this, it won't be an issue. Overall, good place to buy someone gifts if you run out of ideas.

Yelp
I'm not usually one to frequent boutiques centered around carefully curated women's apparel at the thriftiest of thrift store prices, hardback books for a buck covering everything from Paleo diets to mathematics for electrical engineers to Fabio dime store fire for good measure, and a sword with an bald eagle on the hilt. A fucking sword with a bald eagle on the hilt. For $150. This is the kind of treasure that comes after a commercial break on Storage Wars. The kind of goodie found spearing gigantic olives in a martini atop the beanstalk. The kind of artifact that belongs in your man cave, impaling the earth beside a slightly banged up suit of armor wearing plastic Viking horns, a tropical lei and a neon green YOLO Spring Break tank from some shitty beach in Florida. Can one genuine shard of ultimate camp deliver four beefy stars unto a lady-skewed dress barn? It just did.

Yelp
I was searching for thrift stores in New York and found this one, which was a pleasant surprise. The prices are reasonable, maybe a little expensive for a thrift store but they are fine, they have a big selection, everything is well organized (would have been better by size but at least the hoodies were with the hoodies and the jeans with the jeans...). The store looks very small but they have a lot of clothing, which is great of course. If you are looking for famous brands, I did find some. I actually found Nike, Puma, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, the North Face, ... So I would really recommend this store for anyone who's looking for cheap clothing in New York.

Yelp
Always something new here! Clothes are in nice condition and the vibe is warm :) My favorite neighborhood thrifting stop.
google avatar

Concetta M.

Yelp
There is a serious scent of BO here. (Is that how you spell it? Or do I put periods in between like B.O. Yelp community, so share! I've already googled this) Definitely coming from an employee. Clothes are not size separated- a huge con for me as I'm XS and can spend all day in there to find one thing that fits. Too many forever 21 and h & m items. Lots of books, however. The China and glass/metal items are a tad over priced in my opinion. I doubt I will return due to the mixed sizes.

Mériem H.

Yelp
Great neighborhood thrift shop. Women clothes are $5-$10 and while you need to search for it (well that's the point of thrift shopping no?!), you can find a few nice things. Cheap glassware, plates and books too

Victoria C.

Yelp
Pretty good thrift shop! Got a used pair of Nikes here for $18. Would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Victoria Q.

Yelp
I probably wouldn't ever come here to look for clothing gems but if you're looking for used books at a steal ...this is the spot. There's something about finding a great book in an unorganized mess that gives me an odd sense of accomplishment. 1$ paperbacks and 2$ hardcovers. Walked out of here after treasure hunting for an hour with 3 books for 4$!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great thrift store with a great variety. People are generally nice and a neighborhood treasure!

Yelp
Wow! An actual thrift store here in New York, with thrift store prices!!! This place was the best so far that I have been to. Only had one small dressing room but it was clean and organized and was cheap. I would go here again.
google avatar

Daniela I.

Yelp
Small store but good quality pieces. I feel like the clothes cost a little more than they should at a thrift store but it's not outrageous.
google avatar

Yelp
i don't usually write reviews, but i had to give this one a good one; the selection is wonderful, the man at the desk was very sweet, and it's a beautiful setup. prices are good too!! i got a dress, three pairs of nice jeans, and a belt for $50! so glad i found this place.
google avatar

Yelp
If you take the time to pick through this store, chances are you'll find at least one special thing, maybe even an arm-full. Be warned, if you like true vintage, the pickings are slimmer... Many items are from inexpensive shops like H&M that you'll want to bypass. It takes time to peruse this shop but it's well worth the patience. My last visits there, I found what looked like a handmade 50's cotton dress, in beautiful fall colors of cranberry and cocoa, in perfect condition, and a Cynthia Rowley silk tunic in a fun pink and black print. The prices are VERY reasonable, in my opinion, always, and the staff courteous. An excellent shop on the UWS.

Yelp
Some sweet jewelry finds! $2 earrings and $5 rings as well as really adorable tableware, CDs, and $1 books. The clothing was underwhelming (most likely because I am so peculiar about finds) and I went in expecting 80s-90s clothes but the clothing held closest to the early 2000s styles. The prices are pretty spot on for a thrift store in the Upper West Side and the place is a little rough around the edges which holds the integrity of the thrift store!!!
google avatar

Kara L.

Yelp
This place is cool. It's clean and has a nice selection of clothes to choose from. The prices range from $5.99 - around $15.99 or somewhere like that. I mean, it's a thrift store - so shouldn't the prices be a little cheaper? Anyway, I got a pair of cargo pants for $2.99 (they do sales like all pants excluding jeans for 2.99 and like all pink tags half off) and an American apparel cropped sweater for 7.99. Their fitting room is really small. Again, their prices could be a little reduced... But otherwise... It's okay.
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
They have an awesome selection of women's clothing. As soon as I walked in I totally forgot I was at a thrift shop. A lot of their clothing still has tags and are basically new. Wish I lived closer to stop by - definitely worth a glimpse!

L.K. M.

Yelp
Go here. It is a sweet, small store with clothes, books, house goodies, jewelry and other such things. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the clothes are in good condition and prices for a NYC thrift shop are within reason. I was looking for a winter coat and found a DKNY wool 3/4 in great condition for 37.00. As the clothes are not arranged by size, I would leave extra time for browsing. Have fun!
google avatar

Claire B.

Yelp
Thrifting? Not so much. If I want to buy cheap junk from H&M, I'll just go and pay the price to buy it new. NO treasures here. And surly staff to boot!
google avatar

M. R.

Yelp
Ignore the title, this is a store, not a donation center. That said, this is one of the BEST thrift stores in manhattan. Great brands, probably because donations are from the upper west side. Pretty reasonable prices, although some good brands are a little bit more. Great jeans. Great jewelry. Clothing all in good condition. Comparable to East Village Thrift.

Kjersti K.

Yelp
I love this place. I love the fact that I can use this place to swap out old stuff with other new "old" stuff. I feel good about this type of recycling. Also, they always have my size with the clothing that I like. I guess there's a lot of smaller sizes that gets donated because people gain weight. So, to all my fellow vegan friends: go to thrift stores! Most of it is your size! ;D ahaha.. I'm mostly kidding people. Don't be too sensitive now.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is the best thrift store I've ever been to. I make it a point to go to a thrift store in every new city I visit. There's something I buy everytime I go in. I used to come here right before every shift I had as a bartender. The only problem is the amount of cloths I have now. I have so many! Seriously...Right now I'm trying to pack it all in a bad to move it to my girlfriend's and it's not working. I guess I'm a packrat but every article of clothing I have from here I still hold in high regard. The sales staff are all awesome. We make friendly conversation whenever I go in. And they always give me a discount. A discount worth while too. I shop there all the time. I recently moved more uptown and it sucks because this store used to be on my block. I save a lot of money I'm sure but I still miss it. This place is the bomb and I suggest you go there to shop. I'm a cheap bastard so this store is the greatest for me. I can look suave and not spend a lot of money. I have probably 50 ties that I've purchased from there.

Yelp
I am a thrifter! Been so since my teens, really enjoy the hunt and find of designer classics and new at low cost. Plus, it's recycling, who needs new clothes when there are clearly SOOO many people in NYC with disposable, designer wardrobes to donate our way? Unique Boutique is a great store, always changing items, GREAT prices, that aren't jacked up due to designer labels. The owners are pleasant, welcome dogs inside, and the place is organized and clean. Also, TERRIFIC selection of designer jeans for petites like me (o:

Yelp
This place is wonderful! I definitely suggest stopping by. Great prices for what you are getting. Also great to get costumes and props. Clean place and lots of items to choose from! They take cards which is good.
google avatar

Veronica B.

Yelp
after seeing all these great reviews on yelp, I stopped by here whilst visiting New York for a few days. I highly doubt this is the 'best thrift store in new York' considering it was one of the most mediocre thrift stores I've ever been in. The only thing I found that I even considered was a men's suede jacket, but as it was meant for a man, it was too oversized. Everything else was ugly and/or boring. The furniture looked ok.

Siwon N.

Yelp
It doesn't big than I expected but I can get some cool stuff. I bought earrings and those are 2 dollars each!
google avatar

Debbi H.

Yelp
One of my favorite consignment shops in the city. As a costume designer this is one of my go to places when I am working on a modern show. Always clean, always well lit, and a good variety of men's and women's clothing and accessories.
google avatar

Juliana W.

Yelp
I adore this place! super cheap, clean and no nonsense- found a beautiful blue velvet American apparel dress for $10!!!
google avatar

Ariel B.

Yelp
This is possibly my favorite thrift store in the city. The prices are incredible and the staff is lovely. Coming here is always a treat! You never know what you'll find.
google avatar

PJ M.

Yelp
Clean and orderly. Prices were outstanding. We found several items (jeans and tops) for our hard to dress Tween.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Great find! I just bought three pair of shoes here. Really excellent brands. I would have found clothes too but my friends were ready to leave. Love this place.

Jodie R.

Yelp
I stumbled across this store while visiting the City with my mum. We popped in out of curiosity... we were in there nearly 2 hours! We met a lovely guy who works there called Ahmed who I promised to keep in touch with once I got back to London.. If you are reading this I haven't forgotten and hello! The items we got out of here were amazing, Michael Kors, DKNY.. we were given 50% off most items, I came out of there with Michael Kors jumpers for $2.99..... If only we lived in NY I would make this a regular trip, I wish you had an online store!!

Candice L.

Yelp
If you spend enough time in here, you'll end up finding the most wonderful things. One of kind items and you just never know! The pricing ranges and beware, it is a bit messy in here so have Patience!

Yankee D.

Yelp
Awful, awful employees working here. It's one thing not to be dealing with customers and you don't know English enough to understand thumbtacks or Kleenex. But this is working with all kinds of, well, unique things. They are unable to help or even seem to want to help with questions. They DO NOT want to work and get things down to look at, they are incredibly rude as if that is what the service industry is about. Worst of all, they make up prices on the spot, they tell one person $5 and another $10. I have seen this . Finally, and most unfair, considering most of these items are donated, they give discounts to people that come in and talk to them in their language ( I've heard Spanish and French). They may know these people or maybe not, but I do know this is fraud. Donate to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. They actually help people and have rules about slipping the expensive items to their 'friends' . They are not a charity yet they take charity.

Julia N.

Yelp
Today I went to this shop for the second time and picked up 3 great pieces. The clothing there can be a bit boring, but rummaging through all of them is totally worth it. They have a pretty sizable women's section and decent sized but good men's section. The shoe handbag/jewelry selection is not too impressive. Also have a rather large collection of books and CDS. Nice environment nonetheless; clean!

Maria Y.

Yelp
Great friendly workers, clean and organized and actual thrift store prices. I love going here both to donate and to pick up some finds for crafting. The sales people are genuinely nice and they seem to restock quite often.

Mari S.

Yelp
Sometimes the finds are good, other times things are a bit worn. Price-wise most items are pretty good, although it depends on the day.
