Long lines, slow service, self-service kiosks are often out (which are mandatory), employees generally have a “Why are you bothering me?” demeanor. Perhaps I’ve just had somebody having a bad day 5 times in the past year, perhaps it’s always our fault. Perhaps not.

United possibly not cleaning their floor between each trip. My friend forgot my phone on the plane and found out immediately after walk out the gate, so I intended to go back which the attendant not allowed. I explained the situation and she don’t willing to help just told me to wait, she is the only person outside the gate which I understand she might be busy, but at least you can page someone inside the plane to check it for me. Until a captain comes out telling her the fight are ready for return to Newark, she mentioned it to the captain and he only help me to check on 3 row between my seats and told me couldn’t found it. My phone has no power and I couldn’t even use find my iPhone, plane are going to board with new crew and I almost going to ask the people who going to board to help me found the phone. Luckily the same captain come back and saw us still waiting on the gate willing to go back and check for us again. Finally he found it on 5 row in front of us. The phone fly away possibly cause by the taxing. 5 stars is for the captain, that’s I don’t think is his job. But the gate attendant’s attitude just rude and not helpful. So I had to cut 3 star out. I wish United has better policy on the lost and found. At least give us some sympathy

Threatening to leave passengers in 7 minutes and will not open the door. Then after all passengers came on board, they delayed the flight for about 30 minutes. No apology to the customers. United should be accommodating as they need accommodation too sometimes. There should be an understanding that no one can perfectly hit time on the dot at all time. United is a great airline. Hope to see more collaboration in the near future.

Went to get our bags from United after a very very long travel day after multiple cancellations from Houston and decided to drive 9 hrs overnight to make it back to Memphis in time for work. Around 7pm we asked one of the ladies on the baggage claim deck did they have a key & she said no and proceeded to walk off & continue her phone conversation. Then we went to the ticket counter & a second young lady who was also on her phone looked us in the face and didn’t even ask if we needed help. Both ladies were extremely rude and very unprofessional. Both stars for this review belongs to JABREN S. AHMED who took the time to help us get our bags when it WASN'T EVEN HIS RESPONSIBILITY. He deserves all the stars & A RAISE. Thank you young man.

A joke, leave you hanging any chance they get. Only one worker at the check in every time I've been there and better not lose your bags. The woman was extremely rude, didn't give any empathy.

I have flown on United Airlines several times this year and while I'm thankful that the pilots got us to and from safely, I feel like United leaves a lot to be desired compared to the other Airlines. Not allowing a full size carry on, serving water out of a cup, which is breathed over and handled, instead of a small individual bottle, especially during the present times we are in. You can see a lot of the wear and tear on the inside of their planes. They are not all out bad, but definitely not my first choice.

I am a cancer patient who booked a first class ticket on United to MD Anderson in Houston. After a good report and no further treatment needed I tried to change my First class return flight from Friday to Wednesday. Since no First class was available I booked economy. In addition to no consideration for the fare difference, they charged an additional $145. I will never use this airline again based on their record of customer treatment.

Horrible experience, unprofessional and arrogant staff. I am a MileagePlus card holder, yet I was treated very unprofessionally. They literally got into an argument with me about baggage policy for MileagePlus card holders instead of checking their policy online. United, you need train your staff. Do you want your customers to educate your staff??!!

To celebrate our 2025 birthdays, my wife planned a Virgin Voyages Mediterranean cruise. We booked our flights with United because they had a very good package for signing up for their Explorer Visa credit card ($300 discount, Priority Boarding, and 2 Airport Lounge Passes). Everything went very smoothly and the Flight Attendants on our international legs: Chicago - Barcelona (8 hours) and Athens - Chicago (10 hours) were EXCEPTIONAL!

I have been sitting and nobody knows what's going on like a bunch of kids running in the shower. They did not have a wheelchair ready for me and when I went and finally ordered some food I was called back to the gate to sit here to figure out what they're doing in the crew has no clue what they're doing and if so insane I would not recommend this airline to anybody not my worst enemy

Lately with travel being so disappointing, hectic, delayed and miserable United has managed to be on time, a comfortable flight and not ridiculous flight times. They have good snacks as well!

2 stars 1 for the unbelievable flight crews 1 for those that attempted to do their job in a very impossible situation. This was one of the most nerve wracking situations that I have ever experienced in my travels. I arrived at the airport 2hrs early and taking note of the movement of the line with approximately 100 or so people in line to get to the counter. However the main issue was only having 3 attendants to serve them all and 1 of the 3 was for Premier and First Class passengers. This was unfair to passengers and the amount of pressure placed on the agents as well. My saving grace was upgrading to premier and making the flight just as the last of passengers were boarding. Had I attempted to wait in the regular line I would not have made it. Although the flight was delayed for nearly half and hour as well. I do not believe all passengers made it. 2 things I will note that definitely require immediate attention would be: 1st there should be more than 2 kiosks and not directly at the check-in desk with the agents. 2nd the agents upon checking the bags should not have to walk them down to the Spirit side where bags are placed, this was a gross waste of time and poor planning or managing especially for after a major holiday travel. United basic economy fare rules: 1. Pay to choose your seat 2. No refund 24 hours after booking 3. Carry-on bag not allowed 4. Bring a personal item This was my fault, I didn't pay attention to the details. However, paying $115 for 3 pieces of luggage which were 1 normal and 2 (what should have been) carry-ons seems excessive when other airlines don't charge for carry-on. This charge was for only one direction of my flight. PS. Small drink and no snack

I used United Airlines Pet Safe to ship a pet to Boise Idaho from Memphis TN. My first time using United for this service. And I didn't even give it a second thought about things that happened in the past with United. This was a new day, new rules and new guidelines. I felt good about the choice to use them. So I entered through the downstairs baggage area and accidentally went upstairs to ticketing, a very nice ticket counter lady directed me to baggage office back downstairs. It was straight in from outside and to the right. I never saw it. Upon entering the office. I was already nervous and first time having to do this. It was reassuring to have a kind and friendly attendant assist you with all your paperwork and getting my pet to her destination. Everything went as planned and scheduled. I would use them again.

My work pc was stolen and all of my medication was taken from my checked luggage. I reported the incident to United and was informed that they are not responsible for any electronics. So who is responsible for a United employee who took these items? My trip was ruined this happed in Memphis, Tn. So do not put anything in your checked bags that want to keep. It's very hard to believe someone would still your medication.

The new first class seats are quite nice and much better than the old ones. I liked the first class seats in the 787 dreamliner of AA better but these are pretty good. What I hate is, when I travel, it happens more often than it should, that gay stewards are always touching me, with some excuse. Happened again today. Gave me two entrées, both awful and touched me, for no reason. Disgusting. Its very upsetting but it's not just United.. I guess I give out a gay vibe, which I am not. I know exactly how women feel when they are touched inappropriately. There was a hot stewardess who didn't of course touch me. United club lounge at O'Hare is quite nice. Excellent coffee, fresh made with Italian lavizzi machines, although the coffee did not taste Italian.

Not a bad location, but it might be time to update the gate area. There were limited power outlets, no displays with the flight status, and a dated feel. The airline itself continuous to improve under new management, but is still a ways off from earning five stars.

I booked a ticket for my father who had just had foot surgery. I made sure to have a note attached to his ticket that he'd need a wheelchair. Everyone assured me that it was done. When he checks in, the gate agent doesn't have a wheel chair, says they didn't get a wheel chair request. I get a call from my Dad, yelling at me, so I call United's various Memphis number which are all disconnected, then I call corporate and they say there is a note on the account. I tell them what happened and they put me on hold. My Dad calls me again. He's hobbled on his bad foot with his carry on, through security to his gate. The operator from United comes back on to say that his supervisor will be getting a wheelchair to the check in desk soon, hopefully. Well its kind of too late to be useful, you know.

The gate agent flat out lied to my face today. I thought United CEO was trying to change its culture but obviously that change hasn't reached Memphis. The gate attendant told me all people boarding in groups 4 and 5 had to check bags on the 3pm flight to Houston. I pushed and said no choice? And she said no. I get in line to board with all the group 4 and no seems to have checked but me. I said something to her and she just looked to the next customer. Now all have boarded and there is still lots of overhead space!!!!! I told the flight attendant and she blew me off too.I've learned my lesson. United employees care nothing for inconveniencing passengers. This is another example of why united is so screwed up and the most customer-hostile airline out there. I'm done with them.

Traveling from Medellin Colombia to Little Rock AR with layovers in PTY & IAH. PTY flight was delayed 1 hour due to late arrival of outbound plane allowing just one hour to get through customs and make connecting flight. After arriving at IAH 15 more minuets behind schedule I was able to make it through customs and to my gate with 10 minuets to spare only to find out that for some reason this flight left 15 minuets early. While my flight from PTY was enroute United Airlines had already booked hotel rooms and flights for the next morning for myself and several other passengers that they had managed to delay. It seems to me that the logical thing to do would have been to hold the flight for a few minutes instead of allowing it to depart ahead of schedule. Due to this mishap I lost a lot of money due to missing work as well as my wife who had taken off to pick me up from the airport...United Airlines answer to their negligence is a measly $200 travel voucher wich is not sufficient considering that this is a common issue with this airline. It's my 4th such experience in 18 months, the voucher is to keep the customers coming back even though their service and customer care is TERRIBLE, that is if you're able to ever actually talk to one of their reps who they have outsourced to some third world country.....how about fixing your issues instead of giving measly vouchers
