"A gem of a store in an unassuming, strip-mall storefront, United Apparel Liquidators’ West End outpost is Nashville’s destination for steeply discounted designer clothing. It doesn’t take much digging to find pieces by Missoni , Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Chloé, Balenciaga, and Givenchy; most of the stock is womenswear, though there is also a smaller menswear collection and some furnishings and home goods. United Apparel Liquidators often only stocks one or two pieces of any style, so grab it when you see it, because it'll probably be gone by the time you get home and change your mind. There are also locations in Hillsboro Village, 12 South, and Brentwood, but West End tends to have the best stuff (and the easiest parking)." - Kristin Luna, Margaret Littman

I recently had the pleasure of shopping at UAL and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, my friend and I were greeted with warm smiles and excellent customer service. The store itself is beautifully laid out and organized, making it easy to navigate and find exactly what you're looking for. This is a shopaholic's paradise! Everything from high-end designer pieces to trendy streetwear can be found here. Not only that, but the quality of the clothing is top-notch, making it worth every penny. I must also give a special mention to Abbey, one of the employees at UAL. She went above and beyond to help us with patience and kindness. It's clear that she takes pride in her job and truly cares about her customers. In fact, my experience at UAL was so positive that within 24 hours, I found myself back at their other two locations in Nashville. I just couldn't resist their amazing deals and unique pieces. Thank you UAL for providing such a fantastic shopping experience!

Visiting was such a waste of time. I had to take an Uber just to find out that despite them stating "OPEN," they are not.

Google
Not really a thrift store. But the people were nice.

Google
UAL is my absolute favorite store. The selections are amazing and constantly changing as they get new merchandise. One can find amazing clothing, shoes, accessories, home furnishings……everything! And the fabulous people working there are always helpful and greet you with a smile. I normally shop at this location, but all the stores are amazing!

Jessica Lindsay

Google
I get a lot of compliments on my clothes. Truth is, I have, literally, the best and most interesting wardrobe ever, and it's all thanks to UAL. This place is INCREDIBLE in value, quality, style, and variety, literally my favorite store on the planet. I have since moved out of Nashville and miss it dearly (although have been doing occasional internet shopping) but will return ASAP. Worth the trip.

Google
Always an adventure here. Some finds make it worth the challenge. The staff have always been helpful and understanding. Trying on lots of items and leaving with only one is perfectly ok.

Google
One of favorite Nashville shops for clothing. I never know what I’ll find there. Designer brands heavily discounted. Good unknown brands priced well. Great jewelry and shoes as well as some home interiors. Staff is always helpful as well! The West End Ave location is my favorite and the 21st ave location is a stones throw away as well!

CeCi C.

Yelp
Luxury homeware and clothing! West end location is the best for parking! Staff is always wonderful and willing to help. They're honest if something doesn't look they way you want. They are not pushy on a sale. Do spend time because there is lots of hidden gems

Buzz B.

Yelp
There were maybe 2/3 attractive pieces. The pricing is very high for some very basic and questionable fashion. Employees greet and welcome or check in on patrons appropriately. They are also have small(er) sizes so if your large, larger, or plus size this is not the store for you.

Montana S.

Yelp
There are four restaurants within 100 yards and you have to go pee. Do you go to the closest one? Or blame the store owner that's in a "high-rent", prebuilt, historic row of businesses that they didn't cough up $100,000 grand and lose part of their shopping footprint to appease the few isn't cost effective. But you are loved and appreciated.

Yelp
A secret place I've been wanting to visit for ages! They are a liquidator of sorts. They carry some of the highest end brands you can imagine at significantly slashed down prices. While it has a vibe and mustiness that is reminiscent of a consignment store, everything here is brand new, with tags. I discovered some new European brands while shopping here too. Most pieces feel almost one of a kind in style and they don't always have multiple sizes so stick to your size rack. On my visit they had an outstanding selection of coats and a decent selection of high end branded shoes.

Cherise M.

Yelp
I'm hoping this place has great stuff to make up for it's lack of bathrooms. I arrived at about 15 min before closing and had been driving for a couple hours to get there. I had to use the bathroom and was notified that they didn't have bathrooms available, the nearest ones were down the block. So I walked to use the bathroom, came back to finally shop and they were closed.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Great, new designer items for a fraction of the cost. A lot still have tags. Staff friendly too

Joya W.

Yelp
Very friendly sales associates. I love shopping here because I'm treated like my business matters. The selection is also amazing this is a good place to stop in every couple of months or so (depending on how often you shop). The selection changes all the time. Other UAL locations just aren't as good!!!!!! Shop here!

Yelp
So glad I finally got to check out United Apparel Liquidators. This store is a hidden gem located near Vanderbilt university in a strip mall. The store sells high end designer clothing, jewelry, shoes, housewares and more for both men and women! Many high end brands as well as costume and real jewelry! You won't regret stopping by. Merchandise changes often! Also prices range from $20 in clearance to the hundreds for nicer brands. Definitely something for everyone! lovely staff as well.

Yelp
Be advised before you go...they are a very judgmental lot. We were watched from the very moment we walked in. At the time we were about to leave overheard the workers running their mouth about me and my friend. They need to learn not to judge a book by its cover. Did Pretty Woman teach them nothing? You don't know me...you don't know who I am or what I have. I promise you I won't be back. And yes, I own my own small business and was looking for items that my customers have asked me to find for them and I was looking to purchase a purse for myself. I have an extensive high end purse collection/obsession. I will take my money elsewhere I can promise you.

Carolyn M.

Yelp
I have bought from this store on occasion - and all the times I've bought from them the items were either defective, misized, or altered. I recently bought my father a pair of shoes as a gift after he could lost his job because of COVID and couldn't afford to buy anything at the moment. The shoes were really uncomfortable and extremely heavy so I wanted to return them. They have a strict 10 exchange/store credit policy if you could even call it 10 days. They include shipping time in those 10 days and took 6 days for the package to get over to me. I couldn't ship it out on a Sunday, leaving me the option only to pay extra for expedited shipping. When I called they basically told me that it was unrealistic that it would arrive on time and they wouldn't be able to accept it unless it came by tomorrow. There are so many alternative shopping experiences online that provide better service and value. I wouldn't buy from them again because they don't prioritize the customer, sell faulty products, and serve a condescending attitude with a smile.

Yelp
Guess what I found, my new fav store in Nashville! Courtney was awesome and the clothes are to die for!!!! UAL fan for LIFE

Julie K.

Yelp
Beautiful collection of curated designer clothing and cool, trendy staff is what really makes UAL a cut above the rest. I came in from LA and bookmarked all the local Nashville consignment shops I could find. UAL was my first stop and sadly it was all downhill from there. The shop carries high end designer goods with an average price point of $200+. Women's apparel is full of ready-to-wear upscale street labels with some gowns and party dresses mixed in. A lot of great selections for 30-45 year old -ish demographic. Men's apparel is lackluster- which is why I deducted a star for inventory alone. They also carry women's costume jewelry, women's shoes (fab collection of barely worn), and a cool homegoods collection of mirrors, side tables, some lighting and accessories. I didn't purchase any clothing today but picked up a gorgeous metal and glass hurricane marked down from $350 to $80- score! I judge consignment shops by the knowledge of their buying staff and these guys really know wassup y'all. Definitely worth a stop if you're ever in the neighborhood. Thank you UAL for your exceptional service!

Amye K.

Yelp
Unbelievable designer finds! It's hit or miss, but the hits will more than make up for the misses. Go every time you're in Nashville! Go to more than one location (there are 3 in Nashville) because the merch isn't the same at each. This is high-end designer stuff at a fraction of the price. Be warned, however, you may still be paying $300 for for a $2500 dress, so this isn't your place if you're looking for strip mall outlet kind of "deals." It's mostly women's clothing, accessories, and shoes, but they have smaller sections for men's wear and home. Merchandising can be a bit chaotic, but they pack so much into such a small space that it's unavoidable. Send your husband/BF/SO to a sports bar while you shop because you're going to need some time to find the gems.

Cee L.

Yelp
How can you not love UAL!!! This store is no different! I'll visit each time I'm in the Nashville area. Great deals and nice staff.

Brad E.

Yelp
This is the first place I go to shop when I'm in Nashville!! Love this store and its merchandise !! The co Workers are excellent and its oh so fun to find great items for great prices!!

McKenzie S.

Yelp
I finally have made it to all of the UAL locations in Nashville! This was the last one out of three and I would say it's the best one. It has the most inventory and I was told that a lot of their online items come from this store. It's much more spacious than the other two locations so it can be easier to navigate. If you want designer clothing at a discounted price, this is your dream come true. I've said this for the other two locations, this is not a TJ Maxx. The clothes here can be expensive but that's because they are high-end designers like Valentino and Gucci. I think a lot of the items are samples from previous stores. Yes, some of the items have defects but they clearly label that on the tags ("as is: button broken for example). Most of the items I looked at were in perfect condition. And not everything here is expensive. They have a wide range of prices. Also, I went during their after holiday sale and prices were insane. I saw some dresses for $5. They had $800 dresses on sale for $60. If you go during the right time, you can get unheard of deals. UAL recently started carrying home goods and they have some fun items. I was able to get a pillow for 75% off the original price. Even though I'm on a bit of a budget crunch, I still love looking at all of the beautiful clothing and shoes. They have really cool pieces and I wish I could buy everything. If you need a special outfit for an event, definitely check this place out. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They have a great knowledge of the inventory so if you don't feel like digging, let them know what you're looking for and I'm sure they can find it. I should mention they carry both men and women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. The men's section is a little smaller but they still have a nice selection. A fun store that is worth checking out if you're looking for designer clothing!

Marcia M.

Yelp
So let me get this straight, I can buy a Bensoni dress that normally retails at nearly $700 for around $90? I can also score new Missoni, Marc Jacobs, and other designer gear for insanely discounted prices and still walk out with enough cash in my pockets for a martini or two? If that doesn't earn a Yelp 5 star rating, I don't know what does.

Kristin Marie S.

Yelp
I love "sample" stores, like a lot. Maybe too much. UAL, well, I like them, and their staff. I tend to buy something everytime I have been in BUT it usually runs in the accessory category. One time they had metallic green clutches on sale for $5. I bought 4 of them as gifts. (Turkey coma, can't type anymore.) Shortest 4 star review ever......

James W.

Yelp
Was mostly ignored by the staff. This is 95% women's store with limited items for men and ZERO Tall sizes. Most larger sizes are designer so an XL fits like a medium especially if you have a big chest.

Robin S.

Yelp
OK. I have found it! My new obsession...is this a good thing? YES. So, I had heard this store was opening...you could buy designer clothes for like, 90% off. I didn't totally believe they would be designer, but OH HECK YEAH they are! Let me just paint the picture for you...UAL is located in the old Vandyland location (no more yummy Southern food and milkshakes, but SO glad this moved in!)...so it's not a fancy store. Think cement floors, open "warehouse" style, unfinished ceilings, etc. And you pretty much walk in to chaos. But oh is it worth it! They get new shipments in every DAY! So can you see why I'm obsessed? Labels such as Jimmy Choo (seriously? heels for $150!!!!!!), Balenciaga, Velvet, Black Opal, Hollywould, Michael Kors, and MANY others live there. Here's the kicker--they really ARE like 70-90% off (I'm not kidding about the Jimmy Choos...probably $650 shoes at $150--can't beat that with a stick!). Now, it is a bit of a scavenger hunt...you have to get over the "couture on the floor" of it all ha! No, I'm kidding on that, there were not clothes on the floor, but it is a bit sad to see a beautiful $3,000 gown on a plastic hanger against a bland wall...sad, that is, until you see it's $250 price tag! WHAT? YAY!!!!!!!! Yeah...I got over the sadness really quick! Other positives are the overall sense of fun in the store--the owner is hilarious, don't be shocked if she yells hello to you from across the store, and even in this environment, the sales girls (and guys) are very helpful and knowledgeable. The dressing rooms are big and roomy with great mirrors too--they don't make you walk outside in the store to check out your outfit, like some places do! So it's not your usual couture and designer shopping experience, but totally worth it. After about 5 trips to UAL in almost as many days, I was hesitant to even disclose my new-found shopping secret, but hey it is my Scout duty so, Nashvillians, here you go! I give you, UAL!

David M.

Yelp
Liquidators? I guess if you're liquidating Saks Fifth. Geez this place is pricey. I'll review it as a guy who enjoys shopping at Plato's Closet... Way Too Expensive. I did see a Pokemon there, but it was gold-plated and encrusted with diamonds.

Jason S.

Yelp
One of my favorite stores. For those who know the difference. Quality people know quality clothes. I also shop at Hillsboro Village and Brentwood locations... but Westend has my heart!

Camille K.

Yelp
I really like this place, but the help is much to be desired. I was in there a couple of days ago and UAL had gotten in a lot of home goods. Pretty much everything was boxed up. I happen to spy a really cute bar stool chair that I liked a lot and it had a couple of scratches on it. There was a tag on the piece with 3 prices, the lowest one at $47. I was very interested, and was told by the manager that she thought it might be a little less expensive because of the scratches and would get back with me, which never happened. When I went back in there the next day, the vice president, Hailey Trussle, told me it was $99. She was very curt with me and I did not know at the time that she was the vice president. She's a young kid with no respect for her customers. So I called the manager the next day because she was not working that day I went in. When I spoke with Abby, the manager, she told me that she did not recall saying that it must have been a misunderstanding. So then I was connected to Hailey, the kid with no respect for customers who pay her bills, by the way. And when I spoke with her she interrupted me and she was so rude and she said the buck stops here. It was $45 that we were talking about as she refused to let up. Now I have bought several things from the store in the past but I don't like someone who is rude and doesn't respect her customers. I will not be in there anymore and it's such a shame. They have such great things but when you deal with people who aren't respectful and aren't nice back to you then it doesn't feel very good when you walk in.

Mink M.

Yelp
Thanks to yelp I found this gem while visiting TN. It's a decent sized store for what it is and yes even tho you have to dig a little it's not any different from any other clothing store. Except you'll see better labels like Helmut Lange, Oscar De La Renta, Ralph Lauren, Chloe and Chanel to name a few. The ladies who work there are very sweet and offer lots of assistance. The clearance rack is pretty good. Actually really good. The shoe selection is pretty decent. They offer discount rates on high end labels, so they may have minor flaws with a zipper or a slight defect that you could live with or easily fix. I will definitely be back every time I visit. They also have a good selection on bags/purses. I was surprised to see them carry Temptu products as well. Highly recommend.

Sharon K.

Yelp
United Apparel Liquidators is the place to go for high end brands at discounted prices. These are no regular discounts though, we are talking 50-90% off the original prices of these brand names such as Balenciaga, Louboutin, Chloe, and more. If you are into labels, and one of a kind designer duds you will love this place. Also, if you are just into getting bargains, you will find a lot of sweet deals for the cheapskate inside your frugal little heart. UAL, as you may have guessed by the name is an apparel liquidator, which means they buy up merchandise in 'lots' from retailers who are trying to get rid of stuff out of season, or odd sizes, or good stuff that just didn't sell as fast as they wanted. So, you can find random sizes, strange designs, and occasionally you will find true gems that slipped through everyone's hands, trickled all the way down into yours at a great, great price. The layout of the Nashville store is pretty simple with a few touches of decoration to class the place up. The dressing rooms look cute and have velvet curtains, good soft lighting, and large mirrors. The store has clothing, shoes, and accessories on every surface. The selection is really great. You can spend a lot of time here, so be warned, don't expect to get in and out in five minutes, you will get sucked into the vortex of good deals! The only downer with this store is that they are not open to negotiate the prices with you. I would say this is something they should be more open to since the items were all bought in bulk. Probably this depends on the markup too. I would encourage everyone to try and bargain especially if the discount is only around %50 of the original price, who knows we may get a break now and then, if we stick together.

Lindsey S.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this store while traveling in Nashville 5 years ago. I have always admired not only the quality of clothing but the quality of people who work there. Emily N. in Nashville is always so kind to respond to me via text with my many questions. I truly wish I lived closer but I love how easy they make shopping!

Emi H.

Yelp
Once upon a time, in what seemed like another life, I sold women's designer clothing at a discount. I learned so many life lessons from owning that business and had many ups and downs. I always told myself that if I ever returned to the retail business I'd open a men's store. Why? Because women are too damn picky. It's nearly impossible to please us (a genetic flaw) and buy on not just fit or practicality, but emotion. This is a double edged sword. A woman can say she wants a simple black dress, but this can mean so many things! For example here is a quick list of expectations: 1) She wants a black dress that will make her look 10 lbs thinner. 2) She wants a black dress but it needs to be the most amazing black dress in the history of the world. 3) Even though she wears a size 6. She wants to be able to fit into a size 2 and will blame you because it won't zip up. 3) Oh and she wants it for less than $30. See what I mean about hard to please? Men on the other hand are very simple and usually know what they want. For example: 1) I want a white collared shirt = I want a white collared shirt 2) I want black socks = I want black socks 3) I want a pair of blue jeans = I want a pair of blue jeans No, complaining about having a fat ass or being jealous that his guy friend looks skinnier. Well, we are talking about most men and I can't speak for all of them. That being said, not being from Nashville I ventured into UAL with curiosity about what they would have and here's my breakdown: Pros: +Great service from friendly staff +Awesome selection of Betsey Johnson & formal dresses +Lots of stuff for women with more conservative wardrobes +Decent pricing if you know your designers Cons: +You have to dig, dig, dig in order to find the goods +Most items are in singles so there's no size assortment +Some items I found were damaged or in less than pristine condition +Wait time for dressing rooms can be awhile if it's busy It wasn't my dream trip to discount designer goods, but I did find a cute dress for under $30. If you've got the time and you live in Nashville, I'm sure it would be worth it to stop by when they've got new shipments of stuff. Yelp 365 Challenge: #196/365 (The Hard To Please)

Robin S.

Yelp
Very interesting fun place to shop with excellent help who will actually help you. I know, crazy, right? Worst dressing rooms in town. No where to sit to try on pants and no rugs , few hooks and generally miserable places . One wonders why since they seem to be making money and would make more if one didn't dread the rooms so much. The clothes can be wonderful--if you find what works for you. I recommend the place but those dressing rooms!! Hey, management, spend a couple of hundred dollars to fix those rooms and you'd make it back in two weeks, easy!

Eric U.

Yelp
My visit was wonderful! The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The men's selection was a little limited, but I still found some wonderful bargains. The store was clean and well organized. I'll definitely be back!

April S.

Yelp
If you love labels and killer deals, get your butt to United Apparel Liquidators, PRONTO! Here's the deal... The store buys unsold merchandise from boutiques around the country and offers them for way less than original price. They have two locations; one in New Orleans, and one in Nashville. They carry high-end shoes, clothes, jewelry and accessories for Men and Women. They have far more things for women than men. Its like a treasure hunt. You never know what you will find and the inventory changes regularly. I have been a long time fan of the New Orleans location and I finally got the chance to shop the Nashville store. Based on my experience in New Orleans, I had high hopes that I would find something I couldn't live without. I literally spent 3 hours trying on clothes. There were so many things I liked. I walked out with two bags full of great stuff for 140 bucks. My favorite find was a pair of shoes I picked up for 8 dollars that normally retails for more than 400 dollars! I mean that is insane ya'll!!

Anna Y.

Yelp
Really liked this store yesterday. Great selection, I was impressed by Chloe and Marc Jacobs items and Chanel pumps for $87 (too small for me=( I found their price range great (now they have summer sales on) but in general you get great value for money. I am not looking for $20-30 T Shirts, I am ready to pay $100 for a silky blouse (which can retail for $300+) so I guess this will be my go-to store. And! the lady at the store was super friendly and nice.

Jonathan N.

Yelp
I must admit, every time my wife and I walk into this store I am blown away at not only the cheap prices she is paying for designer clothing but also how fashionable they are, HOWEVER, when it comes to mens clothing they really miss the mark. I consider myself to be somewhat fashionable and risky when it comes to clothing, but I have a very very hard time finding things that make me say "I MUST HAVE THIS!". While their men's section has grown considerably, I wish they paid as much attention to men's clothing as much as they do women's clothing. Please please please take a hint from your Yelpers and bring in some decent mens clothing!

Whitney Y.

Yelp
Maybe I was expecting something different after reading all the good reviews online... But I was not impressed with this store. The smell was awful, which I wouldn't have bothered me if the presentation / inventory was better. The chanel bags looked fake to me, but even if they were used, they were selling them for more than nordstrom sells them, but they had flaws on them? And the sales last said they were NOT used? They were brand new? I really wanted to like this store but I did not. I suggest shipping they sales rack at nordstrom & saving money

Alex S.

Yelp
Really impressed by the quality, selection, and prices here! Also, amazingly friendly staff. Every time we travel somewhere new, I'm searching for luxury consignment shops and especially love ones with reasonable prices and men's clothing for the hubby... well this has it all!!! I wish they would come to Florida so I can visit more often. Must go!

Jelly R.

Yelp
I did not see what all the hype was about. I think a lot of my issue with it was how they had things merchandised: Everything on rounders, by size, instead of like with like merchandise and in a way where you could actually readily see the clothes. It made it feel more like sifting through stuff at a consignment or thrift shop or a TJ Maxx than a designer/boutique type shop. Then again, maybe that's part of the strategy, to make people feel like it's a bargain basement experience. That said, they did have some unique items and it seemed like a good place to find something that isn't mass produced.

Rahel K.

Yelp
HOLY MOTHER OF DESIGNER BARGAINS!! Do you remember the feeling when you were a kid and you walked into a toy store for the first time - so much to see your heart raced and your head started spinning? THAT'S how I felt when I walked into UAL for the first time yesterday. Thanks to the wonderful yelpers I checked this place out - and like within the first 10 minutes I already had 50 dresses to try on. This stuff is high end, high quality clothing and ultra low prices. Some of them, even at 75-90% off I still couldn't afford (be prepared for a $600 D&G gown that retails for $5000)....but still a great deal. You'll spend some time here - sometimes there is only 1 or 2 sizes of a piece so you have to rumage through it. Oh, but it's so worth it! I scored this great Milly top (retail $260, got for $59), and much, much more! The sales staff is fantastic. I found out they work on commission - but they weren't too pushy. I LOVE that they bring the clothes to you as you try them on. They are constantly taking and bringing things - no more "you can only have 6 items at a time". My girl brought me this "Elijah" top that I would NEVER in a million years have picked....I instantly loved it!! She was not too pushy, she seemed like she just wanted to make me happy....I think I'm in LOVE!!!!!!!!

Matt L.

Yelp
My only issue is not really with the store, but with the category that this is a store that carries men's clothes. It's really just an afterthought, and covers only about 10% of the store. Their selection of ladies wear looks to be pretty decent, and store isn't any worse than most second hand or liquidators. But I feel like my time was wasted with the claim that this place carries men's clothing, when the selection is so thin, it's not really worth it.

Mea A.

Yelp
I almost didn't go in! From the outside, this little (ok it's actually pretty decent in size) West End store looked a bit on the dingy inside. I immediately thought this was a second-hand store but was confused by the number of girls with big bright smiles holding up extraordinary pieces of designer goods. So I had to go in and that was the end of me... In UAL you wil find: Denim racks that are overflowing with designer jeans at ridiculous prices (under $70), Twenty Tee tees selling for $11.99-$24.99, Fendi watches for under $300 and many many more amazing items that you probably can't wait to get your hands on. I wasn't even expecting to have a personal shopper but Libby was the sweetest and best friend I could have had that day. She pulled out pieces that I would not have even thought of trying on and helped me decide what my wardrobe really needed when I was debating between items. If it weren't for her I would not have been able to score a pair of lambskin Esquivel boots that originally retail at $920 for under $300. So thank you UAL and Libby. I've proven to you that I'll come back and spread the word because I already made a second trip with a friend. Can't wait till next time!

Yelp
My search for Jeans That Fit is finally over. The owner asked me what I was looking for, in what price range, and sized me with an expert eye. I was doubtful she could find me anything as she lead me around the store handing me jeans. On that front she was ....very blunt about the areas we wanted to camoflage, but only so we had a starting point on sizes and cuts. She knows what she's doing, so if you're a little ovewhelmed at the thought of going through the racks, she'll take good care of you. I tried on several pairs, and much to my surprise, as I was getting discouraged I zipped up jeans that, dare I say it, fit me like a glove, for about 50 bucks. (marked down from 280) I wanted to get out before I spent too much, so I didn't look around. (No one would have had to convince to buy a new sweater, say) but I will be back soon to browse.

Yelp
I was super excited to go to this store after learning about it and reading the reviews on here. I'm glad I went. As soon as I walked in, a sales girl welcomed me and asked me if I had been there before. I told her no, and then she explained the lay out of the store and pointed a few things out and told me to let her know if I needed anything. I thought she was nice and friendly, not pushy at all. While I was browsing, she came over and started a fitting room for me. That's pretty nice considering it's a "discount" store. The majority of the store is dedicated to high-end, trendy clothes. Basically, what Saks and Neiman's sells as designer clothes, but not what they classify as "premium" designer. As far as premium designer, I saw one Marc by Marc Jacobs jacket (size M), one Dolce & Gabbana dress (size 8), and one other truly high end designer that I've already forgotten. (And by "one" I mean, one piece of clothing. Not one style. If you happened to find something you liked and it just so happened to be your size, well, it's your lucky day.) They had a lot of Sanctuary pants on sale for $20! They had a lot of sizes, but all out of size 28s. They also had a lot of Serfontane jeans. I went through their clearance rack and found the cutest silk top by 2 B Rych marked down to $9.99. At Neiman Marcus it was $190! whooo hooo!! If I lived in Nashville, this would definitely be on my short list of "well, let's just stop in real quick and see what they have."

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with this store. My first visit, I fell in love!!!! I tried on the most amazing Dolce & Gabbana shoes. They were NOT in my price range (even UAL priced they were over $1,200), but the lady gave us a nice little discount and my boyfriend surprised me and bought them when I wasn't looking . I was anxious to go back, but this time after 2 hours of digging, all I found was a pair of earrings. All the shoes and a lot of the clothing was horribly out of style. I don't care if it's Prada or not. If it's not cute .. it's not cute! I also find that many of the HIGH END designer clothes are a little frumpy and often only available in bigger sizes. I give them props for what they are trying to do and for the good shipments they get in!! Just gotta go at the right time I guess :)

Yelp
The moment I walked into UAL, the owner took it upon herself to size me up ("I think you might be looking for something in the more moderate price range") and show me around the ENTIRE store. Usually this kind of agressiveness in a salesperson would seem pushy, but she was so frank with me and so excited about her merchandise that I didn't mind. And when I told her I didn't "want to waste too much of her time," she took the hint and left me to browse on my own. UAL has a mix of trendy and sophisticated styles that could please pretty much anyone. Unfortunately, since all the merchandise is liquidated, the sizes are limited to what you see on the floor. Prices range from $30-$600, depending on whether you're looking in the front (ultra high-end) or back (lesser known designers and sales) of the store. This is a big store, with men's and children's clothes as well as women's. UAL will be my first stop if I ever need something classy to wear to a wedding or other formal occasion.

Yelp
Kind of a thrift feel to it with very good items at significantly discounted prices. I was VERY happy with the candles ($85 DL and Co down to $20 and $30 graffiti library down to $14) and the home items (small side tables, bar glassware, tchotchkes, lamps). I didn't see much for clothing that interested me but I'd say if you are looking for designer evening wear (ladies), this may be worth a visit. The young lady who worked here told me of the other stores but that this one had more designer items.

Yelp
I'm a little confused as to whether UAL is a fancy thrift store or an outlet store, but either way if you are looking for designer names and chic accessories this might be your heaven. Personally I was a little overwhelmed by the place, and it's not really my bag of chips, but it definitely was a fun way to kill some time. I think mostly it caters to designer bargain hunter, if you can call a $400 sweater a bargain. I had heard that their employees were usually bordering pushy, but no one ever greeted me or ever asked me if I needed any help. I found this to be a little suspect since they seemed to be attacking everyone else that came through, but maybe I just didn't look like their kind. Honestly, its not my favorite place, but again what do I know about designer bargains?

Yelp
I walked into this store this morning and found a kickin pair of Cords right off the bat! $39 bucks later I was a happy man. Going back in the morning because I didn't have a lot of time to look today, but that was fast for me to buy. I wasn't in there longer than 15 minutes.

Yelp
Oh man, I wish this store existed where I live. When in Nashville, you HAVE to go and see what deals they have. I walked out with a pair of designer jeans and 2 tops for about $100. They supposedly get shipments every day, so it's worth checking out all the damn time. Really, really high end clothes for such great deals. $10 racks. Constant price reductions. This is what dreams are made of.

Yelp
Total sweetness. I just moved here from Chicago and I have found a shopping haven, thanks Yelpers!!! Scored Rag & Bone jeans, a Vera Wang top and T-Bags tank for a TOTAL of $27!! I saw labels by Lanvin, Vivan Westwood, Jil Sander, Ferragamo to name a few. Yes, you have to dig around racks but the ladies who work here are very sweet and helpful. Definetly digging Nashville so far.. :)

Yelp
I went there last weekend, and walked away with a great deal on a lace skirt, a denim dress, and a beautiful long, white cotton dress. The sales people are nice. It caught me off guard to have such cheery, nice people offering to bring me tons of stuff, since I'm used to sifting through racks of musty old clothing at Goodwill and such, but the service is certainly very... friendly. While most of the stuff is very affordable, they also have the more couture stuff, perfect for very formal events or when you have money to spend on a truly designer dress. At the least, it's fun stuff to look at. Ultimately, I was very pleased. I find the whole process of shopping retail so frustrating, so that mostly accounts for the 4, and also the selection was more trendy that avant garde, perhaps... at the least, this place is one nice step forwards towards Nashville being a fashion-forward city. One cute thing, heard a girl say: "I haven't seen such great clothing since I've been in Paris!" It is that kind of a place. Rave reviews, doing a great business, friends love it, yadayada.

Yelp
Visited here on a Saturday and I guess I was expecting a little more. The store is a bit overwhelming, had a dusty odor, I didn't see anything eye-catching (and usually I can find anything and easy to please), and the clothing selections was kinda "drabby". Maybe I came in on the wrong day? *shrug*

Yelp
Wow! I recently was visiting Nashville and stumbled into this shop! What a pleasant surprise to find designer men clothing and shoes for a greatly discounted price!! I bought and I bought and I bought. I couldnt resist, cause I cant get these prices where I live. The customer service was friendly and helpful! I took a lot of good things back with me to California. Yeah for UAL!!
