Went to post a few postcards. Place was quiet and had so many self-service machine. Staff members were very helpful as well! The building itself is very very beautiful!

I would give zero stars if I could. The staff was extremely rude and gave us a hard time because the shipping date on our packages was one day in advance. We politely informed the USPS worker that it was a holiday on that day, but in turn, she told us we could have used the automated kiosk.

Kind of the best branch in Manhattan. Good hours, beautiful building, and they always have the fun stamps

Beautiful architecture, clueless staff. Don’t come here if you decide to choose your expired passport book or card as an id. The lady that “helped me” was not HELPFUL at all. How are you gonna deny my application because i used my passport as id WHEN the website says that’s an acceptable id. I even offered my social security and this lady was straight up telling me no. Like HELLO?? This lady should pay more attention in her training instead of being rude to customers.

Tuesday November 12, 2024 went to James Farley Building Post Office at 7:00 AM to mail an important document priority mail to Orlando..John was kind and helpful every thing went smooth and easy.I track my mail which said expected on Friday Nov 15, at 9:00PM. Today Sunday Nov 17,and the tracking tells me still in transit from one distribution center to another. I hope the mail is delivered tomorrow ( Monday Nov 18). It’s unbelievable!!

This building is just gorgeous! They are also open j til late which is perfect! Usually USPS offices close at 5pm, this is open until 10pm! I sell a lot of stuff on depop and alway come here to ship! Never find a long line and the staff is very kind and precise. Ever lost a package So the place is amazing and the service too! Support your local post office

Absolutely stunning building! So glad they renovated! Still have sections under construction. And there are, sadly a lot of homeless folks (and flocks of pigeons) on the grand staircase outside. Still worth a walk through!

I would recommend trying to get Valerie and/or Cohen to help you. I had a situation where I didn't know what the required documentation was for a passport, and following that, my ID went into outer space, despite having my ID when going in. They helped me try to find my ID, which I unfortunately never found, but the good part is they helped me with my passport because they knew that my ID went missing after I left. Update: someone found my missing ID & mailed it back to me!
