I recently visited the USPS location at 115 E 34th St, and I’m thrilled to say the service has improved significantly since my last visit. As one of the largest post offices in the city, it’s great to see them stepping up their game. The lines, which used to feel like an eternity, now move with impressive efficiency—smooth and fast, almost like they’ve cracked the code on crowd management. The staff was courteous, and the machines were all in working order, which made the whole process seamless. It’s clear they’ve put effort into streamlining operations, and it’s paying off. That said, there’s still some room for improvement. The front steps could use a good cleaning—there’s gum and grime that detracts from the otherwise grand vibe of this historic post office. A deep clean, maybe once or twice a day, would go a long way to sprucing up the entrance and making it more welcoming. Overall, though, the progress here is undeniable, and it’s reassuring to see such a vital service running so well. Keep it up, USPS

Stunning!! Museum-esk and a post office in one. The staff was nice and kind. Such a convenient location for the daily commuters. Bonus is you get to enjoy the stunning space at the same time. This wasn't as crowded either.

A beautifully designed location with an equally warm and welcoming team. I visited today and had a smooth, efficient experience—Mr. Felipe kindly answered all my questions, and we wrapped everything up in under five minutes. If you’re hoping to avoid a wait, I’d recommend going during a quieter time.

Staff did everything in their power to get me to leave as quick as possible instead of helping me. I asked several times to speak to management and was denied. I was told to call their 1800 number, and the representative there told me to speak to the post office employees- who refused to speak to me, instead giving me the same 1800 number. The representative on the phone also told me to speak to their supervisor or the postmaster. Great, except, again, the staff would not allow me to do so. Terrible experience. Staff ranged from dismissive to disinterested to annoyed at my presence. Staff also screamed at my husband when he went back in to ask to speak to management, because, AGAIN, the number staff told us to call told us to do so. You can't tell us to do something then get angry at us when we do what was instructed. Terrible terrible experience. Zero kindness.

Packages being delivered from here never seem to make it to their destination I'm currently on package 6 or 7 over the course of almost 2 years with no resolution. I'd be fine if they delivered it to the local PO then cool. But no if it's coming from the plant you might SOL like me. Still waiting on a supervisor call for all the packages and complaints.

I just had a great experience at the Farley post office putting in for a passport renewal for a minor. Appt was at 2, we were supposed to show up at 1:45. Got there at 1:30 and a woman took us despite it looking like the passport section was closed (maybe for lunch?). We were done in 7 minutes. I didn't get her name, but she was very professional and quick. It's so nice that they are open for appointments on Sunday. Definitely recommend.

I visited the post office to retake a photo for my passport renewal. I left a review on usps but I also wanted to leave a review here. Ms. S Patel was the woman that helped me with everything! She literally did not wait for me to ask her for help she took the initiative and handled everything for me very efficiently. If I ever need any assistance with my passport I would definitely come back to this location ! She made my experience wonderful. My appointment was at 1:15 I arrived at 12:55 and was done by 1:10!!!! Thank you Ms SPatel !

This guy is extremely rude and incredibly mean. Basically ridiculed me for not trying each of the kiosks and did everything he could do to not help me. I just complained to my friend who had similar experience with him. Also I couldn’t understand half of what he was saying either, just kept being so rude and mean
