It’s a great place but further from Helsinki attractions. Even when I rented a bike it took a longer time to get to an area I felt was tourist friendly & it’s better to take the bus or Uber. ||The kitchen and aparthotel offering was nice and there is a grocery store in walking distance. ||My room also has a private balcony which was nice. ||The price was also reasonable & the lobby offers to make specialty coffee. ||Why 4 stars (but I must emphasize the experience is still very good here): ||I can constantly hear the washer or dryer running from the basement & I was on the 2nd floor. I can hear this well into the night. It could have also been neighbors dishwasher running but since it was non stop- it was most likely from the basement laundry room. ||The walls are thin & I can hear my neighbors arguing. ||I didn’t realize my bed was on a sleep loft and there wasn’t space to bring even a bag upstairs - everything had to be left downstairs. I personally hate going up and down the narrow stairs bc I am clumsy especially once I remove my contact lenses to sleep. The Tv is located downstairs so to watch something from bed - you must use your laptop or phone. ||I had a great stay - but I’m not sure I’ll return due to the area not being convenient & having an industrial feel and also bc of the sleep loft configuration. But the good pricing may bring me back.

This was a very pleasant and welcoming stay. The staff couldn't be more helpful and efficient. Kudos to the Asian lady and the finnish blonde gentleman especially. The apartment was clean and had all things working properly.|The top floor sauna was very clean and outstanding view.|The breakfast was well maintained and offered a wide range of food. |I highly recommend this property and I can't wait to come back. Thank you

The studio in the 6th floor had a nice view. I did not try the sauna. Unfortunately the rooftop bar is only for professional events. The kitchen is convenient if you don’t want to cook like a chef! The dishwasher is great. The location is not far from the centre. Great experience.

Stayed at Unity Helsinki for a month with my partner and our dog, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. It’s peaceful and quiet, away from the tourist crowds but still just a short walk to shops, bars, and restaurants. The sunsets from our place were gorgeous, and we loved the great coworking space, gym, and sauna on site. The apartment was modern and comfy, the staff super welcoming (to us and our pup!), and it all just felt like home. Already looking forward to coming back.

Comment after staying for 6 nights. Toilet should have bidet (it’s Finland). A/C is centralized with individual partial control, it was still too warm in the summer. Or should provided a fan to use in summer. Bathroom mat should be provided. Room cleaning once a week is too long, at least floor vacuum should be done every 2-3 days, understandable no need to check linen. There is no coat hook anywhere but to put in closet. The fabric of the sofa is itchy and not comfortable when touching. Breakfast is mediocre and boring when staying for a long time. Sauna is great. But the clock in the sauna wasn’t set. So there is no way to tell time when in the sauna except checking your own phone/watch that we put in the locker. Tried the co-working space one time. It was great. It should be able to access for all clients who stayed there, at least for the flexible desk (no need meeting room or extra) Friendly staff, everyone. Good wifi.

Amazing place to stay. Sauna was lovely, as was breakfast. The TV had Chromecast functionality which was great.Location wise, it is in a quiet area and within 10 minutes of the ferry terminal (Eckero) to Tallinn — super.Overall, I loved my stay.

Was upgraded, rooms were great! The first one had a technical issue but front desk was kind to resolve and offer the upgrade. It was more a loft so it was really spacious. Bathroom, bed all fantastic. Location was ok, tram was around 200 meters away and just 6 stations away from the city center. Breakfast was included, not the best as it was a cold small buffet option.

Pros: Quiet area, away from the city centre but tram to get into the centre is right outside. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Eckero ferry to Tallinn is a 15 min walk away. Can also walk to nearby areas that are separate little islands. There are vegan and gluten free options for breakfast but not many - inform them before your stay so they have them for your arrival. They're kept separate at the coffee counter which is great to prevent contamination (unlike the previous hotel I stayed at in Helsinki where muggles were contaminating the dedicated spaces with their gluten and dairy products). Studio space is great, and was mostly very clean. Kitchen very well equipped. There is a rooftop bar and sauna, although I didn't check it out. There is a gym downstairs. Cons: The bedroom is upstairs, and the stairs are narrow and steep so not great for those with mobility issues. When nearby guests slam their doors closed (which really isn't necessary), the room, especially the bedroom upstairs shakes and makes a loud rattling noise. This woke me up a couple of times. You can hear tram running outside but it's not very loud. Breakfast area is small and can run out of space if busy. The bathroom has a mild sewage smell, which was also the case in the hotel I stayed in prior - not sure if this is a Helsinki thing. Light sensor in bathroom doesn't detect you when in the shower so lights go off after a certain period - you need to open the door and wave your arms until it detects you.
