We stayed for 12 nights in June 2025 and cannot say anything negative about the stay. The suite was perfect and the pool view was stunning. The room was cleaned every day. The kitchen facilities of the fridge and microwave were brilliant. The staff replenished the utensils and paper plates cups and bowls when asked. The hotel is huge we stayed in Tower 1 on the 4th floor and had no issues with noise that was unacceptable. It is a very busy place but there was always sun beds available for the pool and the towels were plentiful. |Accessibility to Universal was brilliant never waited more than 2/3 minutes for the shuttle bus. Walgreens was very handy for room essentials and Walmart was an Uber ride away which was handy. Accessibility to the I-ride trolley was very handy a short walk for the red line and green line is just outside the hotel. Overall it is definitely a hotel I would stay in again. A truly fantastic holiday

Google
Really liked the 2 bedroom suite option at Dockside Inn & Suites. Ample space for 4 of us, and nice to have the sink area separate from the shower/toilet area. Cute eating area in the suite, also. Pool was good, but limited seats in the shade. Restaurant was not very good, but handy in a pinch. Great to have a Starbuck's in the lobby, though! Shuttle service was readily available to/from the parks. Would stay again.

Me and my family stayed for 5 days/ 4 nights. Average experience, no complaints there. The pool area is nice, the market food was good (i was nervous it would be cafeteria food), the game room is small, but still had fun. Enjoyed the convenient shuttles to the parks. There is a laundry room which was helpful to dry our bathing suits ($4 a dry). The first day the shower door kept coming off the hinges when we tried to close it, the staff quickly fixed that issue. Overall the hotel staff were professional and helpful - the bartender was great. only complaint would be the CLEANING STAFF - they will only speak if you speak first (initially assumed there was a language barrier, but nope they’ll say good morning as long as you say it first), no smiles on their face, the hallway would always have cleaning stuff that you’ll have a maneuver around (large towel baskets, cleaning supplies, etc).

We were slightly worried after joining Facebook page and seeing a lot of posts about paper thin walls and noise etc but overall we had a great stay at dockside and would recommend.||We arrived at 8pm and check in was a nightmare queues were enormous and took so long after a 9 HR flight we were done. The check in staff weren't overly friendly and initial opinion of hotel was oh no this is going to be a nightmare. ||Then we had to queue for a lift as we had floor 11 tower 1 for our room.||Room was standard room and was ideal. Fridge does what U need and you are hardly in it.||Cleaners come at random times of day and if your in they won't clean room and you miss your turn for day .||There is a toaster and micro at football you can use. ||You get shampoo and conditioner in rooms. There is also coffee machine and hairdryer. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbours thankfully we had no noisy ones and high floor helped at end of corridor. I would hate to be on lower floors. We had no real view though. We could see the buses leaving for park. Pool view would have been nice ||Pool are well kept and life guards are on the ball. Towels are provided .||Short walk from hotel is I hop, seven eleven, Denny's and subway for some cheaper food options. ||Shuffle buses are so regular we had no problems at all. ||Check out was same long wait. So that's why hotel lost a point.

Google
Hotel rooms adjoining and size of rooms great with bathroom showers great water pressure. Generous Housekeeping when extras requested. Reception, Ticket Counter area assistance valuable, Food Area multiple selections all day and tastes good. Fresh fruits, bread, and seating areas plentiful. Bus access great and frequency of bus arrivals good. I would definitely stay here again. Pool was fun for family members.

Our family recently stayed at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort and overall had a good experience. The resort is very clean and well-kept, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. Guest services were excellent anytime we reached out with a request, they were fast, helpful, and courteous. Transportation to and from the parks was reliable, with short wait times that made getting around easy and convenient. However, there were a few downsides. The food on-site was overpriced and not great in quality, which was disappointing. We found ourselves having to leave the resort just to get a decent meal. Another issue was the daily $26 plus tax parking fee, it felt unfair to pay that on top of already paying to stay at the resort. Despite those points, we did enjoy our time overall. With a few changes, this resort could easily go from good to great.

Google
Room was great! Service handled new tools and anything we needed every day, location being a universal resort was perfect and shuttles to the parks made it flawless! Just had to wake up be ready to go and get on the shuttle to the park for the day. Food at restaurant in hotel was amazing as well, good selection where all 7 of my party could make a selection of food and enjoyed it!!

Google
We booked a last minute vacation via Costco travel. It was super easy. Hotel check in was a breeze. We were able to get our park tickets next to check in area. Room was clean and pleasantly surprised they included shampoo and conditioner for a value hotel. Gift shop carried basic amenities along with park themed mdse. The shuttles service was amazing. We never had to walk far, busses were clean and never had to wait. Epic was amazing. Universal studios and Island of adventures did not disappoint. The cost of this quick trip was affordable, less chaotic and so much more fun than my very well planned Disney trip a couple of years ago. Universal… for the win.

Yelp
Came here for the Orlando Informer Meetup event. This hotel is classified as a "value" resort, but you wouldn't know it! We arrived and proceeded to checkin, which was hassle free. The staff were pleasant. We booked a suite, which consisted of two bedrooms (one with a queen and one with two double beds), a microwave, mini fridge, and all of the other amenities of a standard room (iron and ironing board, safe, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) The room was clean and inviting and there were TVs in each sleeping area. The resort has a quick service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner ($), a laundry room ($), game room, Universal Store, bar area ($), rental car desk, a Starbucks, with motor coach access to the parks provided. One of our highlights was the character meet and greet and you could take photos with King Julien from Madagascar and Scooby Doo! They have a CVS within walking distance (5min) and a shopping center further away (15 min walk) where you could go to pick up any last minute essentials, clothing items, or to visit restaurants. All in all, I love staying here when I go to Universal Studios!

Yelp
This resort is a great cost effective option. It's very kid friendly. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. They have a cafeteria with ok food. Everything is at "vacation" prices. No official room service but they have pizza that can be delivered until 12. We came in late one night and were disappointed to find they have no connivence area with drinks and snacks. The over priced vending machines were our only option. We booked an accessible room. It had tons of space, roll under sink, and roll in shower. The left towels sitting on and near the toilet. I didn't love that. The upsold me at checkin when I asked to check in early. It felt grimy. Shuttle to the park is easy and convenient.

Yelp
Great Value Stay with Minor Comfort Issues Our friend group recently stayed at Universal's Endless Summer Resort - Dockside Inn and Suites, and we were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience, especially given the price point. For four people staying in a suite, the total came to just $600 for three days--including our park tickets! The value for money here is outstanding and only 5 minute shuttle ride from the park. One of the biggest perks was the early admission to the Universal parks. Getting a head start before the general crowds made a significant difference. The hotel's location is also convenient, with easy access to the parks via the complimentary shuttle service. The dining options at the hotel were diverse and satisfying. Starbucks is busy every minute and I have not seen an empty line there, however, drinks come out promptly, the staff is very friendly. The staff at Dockside Inn and Suites were amazing and incredibly friendly. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. As for the suite itself, it was spacious and clean, comfortably accommodating all four of us. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The comforter provided was a very thin blanket that didn't offer much warmth. Additionally, the towels were quite thin and not as plush as we would have liked. Despite these small issues, we found the overall experience to be highly enjoyable and a great value. We would definitely consider staying at Dockside Inn and Suites again on our next visit to Universal Orlando Resort.

Yelp
Sadly, I can no longer recommend this hotel anymore. Firstly, we requested a room by the buses/lobby when we booked, but then were given a handicapped room but not in the requested location. The guy who checked us in kept mumbling in a very low voice and we couldn't understand him. He gave us no information whatsoever, so when my mom went to park the car, she didn't know she needed her room key to open the gate. We finally made it to the room eventually. Sadly when we got back later at night there was a roach in the main room and a smaller one in the bathroom. Not good. This caused a lot of anxiety, needless to say. We let them know but they seemed unconcerned. Sadly I can't recommend this hotel anymore, which was a shame because we used to always stay here and I used to tell everyone about it. Back to Airbnb I guess. It really is like a motel 6 now. Sad, it really used to be so much better a few years ago.

Yelp
The decor here is absolutely adorable--such a cute, cozy vibe! The beds were super comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. Unfortunately, there was a ton of dust that triggered my allergies, which was a bit of a downer. If you're sensitive to that, definitely keep it in mind. On the bright side, the breakfast pizza was AMAZING! It was the perfect start to the day. Overall, a mixed experience, but I'd still consider coming back--just hope they can address the dust issue!

Yelp
Booked for 7 nights stay with the 2 bedroom suites which includes main room with 2 queen beds and 1 separate bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Very spacious for family to stay at. The room was clean and even include 2 tv in each rooms. The hotel has 3 building that connect. Main lobby, tower 1, and tower 2. It was easy to navigate around the buildings. When I check in, there was a huge line and it took about 40-45 mins wait. If you happen to be able to check in online, it quicker and it separately from the main line. Checking out was easy, you can check out through their link that will be send on the last day. The hotel has plenty amenities including gym, food market, universal gift shop and Starbucks as well. The elevator does take time and you might have to wait your turn to get in since it doesn't fit alot of people per ride. It part of the Universal Studio Resort ,so if you happen to stay they offer a 1 hr early entry to the parks. They provide shuttle bus that make frequent stops. They did mention it comes every 15 mins but there were a few times that driver leaves early or leaves late. There is self parking and they do charge $19 per night parking fee. Overall, this hotel was a great place to stay!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. Nice big pool. Clean room and friendly staff. I was a bit skeptical because we are more of a Disney resort kind of family but this hotel didn't disappoint.

Yelp
Wasn't expecting much since this is a "value hotel," but this hotel was actually pretty decent! We got a 2 bedroom suite which had 2 queen beds as soon as you walk in, and then a small room with a full sized bed. Also had a little kitchenette area with microwave, sink, mini fridge / freezer, and coffee maker. The room was clean, no complaints there. The check in took a while and the associate gave us the wrong room number initially. But aside from that, they were very accommodating. They held onto a bag that southwest lost and locked it up for me until I woke up the next day. I forgot my Apple Watch charger and they allowed me to have it delivered via Amazon and held onto it for me. I really don't have many complaints and I'd probably stay here again!

Yelp
Better than expected. We luckily didn't have any loud people near our room, but we could easily hear people talking in the next room over, so I can see how you could have a bad experience if you get put next to a loud group. I would say try to avoid a room on the first floor if possible; we weren't on the first floor, but I felt bad for anyone who was because groups of people were walking and talking loudly at all hours as they went down the hallway to get to the elevators. No hot tub, which didn't bother me but it was kind of odd to not have one. Shuttles were reliable and we never had to wait long for one. The Starbucks in the lobby was convenient, but the other food options were a little expensive so we mainly ate in the parks. Our room was nice, had plenty of outlets and a nice little eating area. We also had a pretty view. Our room was in Tower 1 on the third floor.

Travis H.

Yelp
Our room had bedbugs. We found two of them and brought them to management. Their only offer at the time was for us to do our laundry there, and they would cover the laundry bill. We didn't feel comfortable taking our pillows and luggage back into our house. We had to replace our pillows, luggage, and a few other things. We didn't replace them with expensive items (pillows from Costco, suitcases from Burlington). All we asked was that the one night be refunded and our costs (under $300) be compensated. They are doing everything they can to ignore me, telling me on the phone that they can't help and I should email, but then ignoring every email I send. The room was fine until we found the bedbugs and I understand that this can happen, but the customer service doing everything they can to push me aside makes me never want to stay in any Loews hotel ever again. Terrible customer service.

Yelp
Loved this Universal resort, they have amazing service as always, the rooms are amazing , specially if you go with your family the rooms have a fridge, microwave and are very spacious which we loved! We tried some of the food that was at the resort and also loved it , you can make your own pasta with the ingredients you desire and it's very tasty, the snapper comes with either broccoli or asparagus this time we got them with broccoli and loved them, and for the little ones there is the option of kids menu, pasta, pizza, tenders you name it . We loved the gym, they don't have too many machines but it's expected, they do offer lockers to keep your stuff; bathrooms are really clean and they have disability chairs too . The pool is amazing too, we loved staying here .

Yelp
I've stayed here with my family countless times over the years, both as a local & now that I live in California! It is our go-to option! It is absolutely, hands down, the BEST value resort in Orlando & the fact that it is on Universal property is crazy! Customer service - 10/10. They keep it clean, lots of food options, free (included in the nightly rate) transportation to City Walk & the parks, within walking distance to stores & restaurants along I-Drive - I can't say enough how much I recommend this hotel, especially for families on a budget! And if you're not on a budget, save some money on the hotel by staying here & you'll have more to spend on souvenirs & food or whatever else you choose! Oh & rooms are just over $100 per night right now - peak season! Can't be beat!

Yelp
Worst hotel experience and even worse customer service. It's a blame game between the corporation and the property. No one is willing to step up and take accountability. I have to dispute the charges with the credit card company because I am being charged unfairly for a room I refused to stay in. Issue at Endless Summer Resorts Orlando Dockside Inn and Suites.... I am very disheartened with the guest service I experienced at Endless Summer Resorts - Dockside Inn and Suites. At 1 AM I arrived at the hotel and checked in. When I went to my room, I noticed I had been given a 2 queen-bed ADA room. I reserved a 2 queen bed standard room. The major issue with this is I have two teenage kids and a sink outside the bathroom is essential. I immediately called the front desk and explained this to them. I asked for a room that met the standards of the room I reserved. I was informed there were none available. After inspecting the room more and taking pictures to prove it did not meet the requirements, I noticed the shower had not been cleaned. I took photos of this as well. At the front desk, I talked to Sydney Hare, the manager. She said there was nothing she could do (other than move me to another ADA room) that would not cost me additional money. I refused to be assigned to another ADA room and requested that she cancel my reservation. I was charged for one night's stay and $20 for parking. My vacation was ruined. The kids and I slept in our car that night because there was no point in getting a room somewhere else. After all, we had to be at Discovery Cove at 7 am and by this time it was already 3 am. Our vacation was completely ruined. This issue could have been easily resolved with the manager asking us to spend one night in an ADA room with the assurance that the remainder of our stay there would be in a 2 queen bed room that met our expectations. I reached out via mutiple emails/chats/phone calls and no one will resolve the issue.. Our vacation has already been ruined. We left after 1 day because we had nowhere to stay. At the very least I would like a refund of the $150+ I was charged for the one-night stay and the $20 I was charged for parking. I never stayed there or parked there. I would also like the room information corrected on the website for the hotel. According to the website all 2 queen bed rooms, including ADA rooms have a seperate bath and vanity. This is not true. Despite the description on their website, all 2 queen bed rooms do not have a separate bath and vanity area. Also the room was not clean.

Yelp
I would love to give this resort more stars because in the end it wasn't bad, but the check in process alone made it only a 2/5. We checked in online, thinking it would be easier and less of a wait. We never received a text saying our room was ready so we ended up dropping our bags at the drop and heading to the parks right away. It was pretty early in the morning so we thought it was normal that our room wasn't ready. After a terrible day of traveling we were just anxious to get into the parks, so we figured we'd check in a little later anyways. We left the park and got to the hotel around 2pm. The line for check in was INSANE. It passed to front door and was so unorganized. I found out there was a separate line for online check in so I figured that was nice and would probably go fast. Boy was I wrong. It took over a hour to even get to the desk. It was around 4pm by the time I we got up to the room. We were just miserable. And the staff was zero help. You could basically feel the anger from all the guests waiting and the staff did nothing. The manager came out for a couple minutes and told us he was understaffed but didn't even bother to help his team. He just went back to the back and didn't show his face again. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is because everything else wasn't bad. The transportation was nice and came every 15 minutes, and the cafe stayed open late which was nice because of horror nights. They also have pizza delivery which was nice. But the walls are extra thin, I could hear distinct conversation from the rooms next door. Other than that it was fine, just wished it was better.

Yelp
3.75 Let's start with the good: Majority of the staff was very nice Characters on-site in lobby Online check in offered, but still need to go to the desk Can opt into texting for anything needed (extra towels, questions, late checkout) Late checkout offered- 12 for free, 1 for another $30, goes up from there Room available at arrival- before typical check in (4pm) and we arrived closer to 12:30 Plenty of parking (19 per day) Spacious suites with a private master (3 queens total) and 2 TVs Beds were comfortable Mini kitchen area with a table, good sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker 2 large pools, 2 towers Free shuttle to universal parks- never had to wait long Starbucks onsite, eating area cafeteria style onsite Now for the less than great, but not terrible: This is a value hotel, clean but not perfect Comforters were super thin, dare I say a few small holes Rooms are spacious but not huge, fine for a few nights with 5, especially when out most of the day Fridge was somewhat dirty inside- visible. My husband wiped down with Clorox wipes before we added any food. Shower water was a good stream, but narrow (if this make sense) and always lukewarm. No safe Walls are thin Side view is pretty bad as shown, we had a pool view so we only saw this when hitting the elevators and it is beyond their control- for awareness only Pools are not deep at all, max at 3 ft 10 inches Pool says 10-11, but the actual pool didn't open until after 10 when we were there Pool bar offers drinks only, and doesn't open until 11. Not a big deal, but wanted a mimosa on my final day with breakfast and this wasn't offered. With that in mind, the cafeteria is the only spot to eat and gets crowded and expensive. Food was mediocre- had a spicy chorizo breakfast burrito and the shell was hard. Kids had chicken and waffles And enjoyed- chicken was cold. We ordered pizza from offsite and didn't have any issues- delivery and eating it poolside was allowed. Inclusive drinks here are separate payment than the park drinks package. We had an issue the first night- room below us was super loud/having a party. Started before 10 so by midnight and my kids waking up twice, I had to call to address. They did send security and were nice about it. I get people are on vacation, but this hotel caters to children so just wasn't respectful and my patience wore out after two hours. Would stay again, but wouldn't pay premium for this stay. With that said, we paid about $400 for all for two nights as a Florida resident and had a good deal.

Yelp
We stayed for days. The room met all of our basic needs since we spent 4 days in the park. Cons: The internet didn't work. After realizing how bad it was by day 3, we tried opting for the paid option but it still didn't work. We couldn't even stream a movie on our day off from the parks. Laundry soap dispenser was broken on all floors. It was impossible to get help. My husband tried calling everybody and nobody could help him. We had to Instacart laundry soap because their machines were broken and nobody could help. I had an allergic reaction to something, maybe the laundry soap they used for their sheets. I had itchy rashes for days. The soaps they provide are cheap and left residue on my skin and hair. I do have very sensitive skin so maybe these are ample for some people but having greasy hair in the parks was uncomfortable. $20 a day for parking! After paying a small fortune for a room and vacation, being blindsided by an extra charge is annoying. Loud. Like, there is no sound proofing here. I have 3 kids and we're one of the loud rooms (sorry, not sorry). I'm sure our neighbors heard us the whole time because we definitely heard them. For a place frequented by children and toddlers, you'd think this should be a priority. No activities on site. There are no shows or other hotel activities for days off from the parks. The pool was in the sun all day. We waited until evening time to go swimming. Pros: 3 beds. I thought we had gotten a queen and a one bed bedroom but there were 3 beds which was nice. Separate bedroom. When the kids went to sleep, we could stay up later prepping for the next day. The food is pretty good. It's expensive but tasty. It was all fresh and tasted good. Free shuttle to Universal. We used it all the time. We didn't even move the car the whole time we were there. The pool was big and clean. Towels were well stocked. Summary: When we go again, we'll be choosing another hotel. It met our basic needs but that's about it.

Yelp
Long lines, long lines, and more long lines. When we first got there, we waited in line about 1 1/2 hours to check in. There must have been easily about 200 ppl waiting to get checked in at the same time. Frustrating and slooooowwww. Then, if you want Starbucks from the one in the hotel, get ready to wait another LOOOOONNNNGGG line. I waited about 45 min. in line to place an order for a latte. The food in their food court is overpriced and ok if you're really hungry and in a rush. The only good thing i liked about this hotel is the bus service to and from Universal and the view of the pool area was very nice, too.
google avatar

Terry K.

Yelp
We love this Value hotel at Universal! Definitely one of our favorites to stay close to the theme parks. Buses to the theme parks are very convenient and come pretty frequently. There's a Starbucks conveniently located by the lobby but the prices are quite high comprared to other locations so keep that in mind. There's also a bar and a dining area with really good food options from salads, to chicken sandwiches, burgers, cupcakes, chicken and waffles and more I've seen a lot of people complain about the lines during check in but we've never had an issue, sometimes there's more people than expected but nothing crazy where it negatively impacts our check in experience There are two pools in site, one for each building but you can use either or. pool areas do not have food options but they do have a bar each with outdoor seating. There's also a splash pad for little ones on one side of the pool area and ping pong tables on the other. Beds are comfortable for a value hotel, bed linen/sheets are thin so you may have to ask for extras.
google avatar

Tyler S.

Yelp
Quick check in and out. Massive pool with a bunch of seating! Large bar outside as well. Very nice hotel. I spent one night. I would highly recommend staying a couple days to explore the area more. Parking fee is low. And there is a lot of park.

Yelp
I stayed at this Universal budget friendly resort in Orlando two weeks ago. As any hotel, there were pros and cons to staying there. Upon arriving, the lobby is beautiful and you can tell this is a newer hotel. Fun fact, it was build during the pandemic where the old Wet n' Wild water park used to stand. I like how easy the check in process was, the Starbucks located right in the lobby and the adorable room keys they give! My friend got Hagrid's on her key and I got Simpsons. They offer a variety of food to purchase in the food court. I only had an egg scramble and fruit. The fruit was very fresh! When entering the room we walked into an overwhelming smell of men's cologne. I'm not sure if they use something to clean with that scent but I wasn't a fan. The reason for the 4/5 stars is because there was a wash clothe left in the shower hanging on the shower head. The room looked clean other than that face cloth hanging and dust in certain places. We did call the lobby when we noticed the face cloth and they stated they would be up in the morning to clean it. They said they cleaned it but the same face cloth was there. The hotel has MANY rooms and it seemed like they were hosting a group of middle school kids who were extremely loud and pushing through people to get on the elevators. The pool was beautiful although it was way too cold to enjoy. I did enjoy the shuttle as this saved on paying to park at universal and it brings you right to the entrance. The early admission to islands of adventure was an added bonus. For the prices and accessibility to the parks I would consider staying here again.

Yelp
This resort was great! We came and stayed for a volleyball tournament and everything here was clean and well serviced. I love the location. It wasn't far from the convention center and it wasn't far from shopping plazas. Of course anything at the hotel is super expensive (a case of water at the grab and go area was $24 or something like that) so we went to Walmart, which was 5 minutes away. Another shopping plaza with restaurants was the same, about 5 minutes away. We got the suite and the pricing for that, for a week, was pretty decent. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Yelp
Our two night experience at Endless Summer was close to expectations. It was convenient and worked out well with our trip to Universal Studios but I would maybe also investigate other options for a future trip. I didn't do a ton of research coming in here but I did watch the resort's promotional video. I should have taken that with a little bit of a grain of salt knowing how marketing in general works. Our room was not a cozy two bedroom room as the video suggested but a tight space for my wife and our two kids. There was very little common space and just one chair. The beds were ok, not super comfy but also not uncomfortable. Linens were lacking and because it was cold we really did need a real blanket. You can pay for the connected rooms but that's the same as just booking two separate hotel rooms per night. The Starbucks and cafeteria style restaurant on the ground floor are convenient and accommodating for long hours in the day, which you may need to explore the parks. With kids it's nice to have a variety of food options, most of which are reasonably priced, right at your hands. Nothing I had was fantastic, but again, like a lot of the stay, it served it's purpose. You can also buy drinks and snacks to take back to your room. TV in the room had a decent variety of channels too. The people working here were nice and helped us with questions about the park. The free shuttle with short ride and frequent trips was great. Getting to Walgreens about a quarter of a mile away was less great (like a lot of Orlando it's not all that walkable). I also didn't realize up front that it costs $15/night to park if you are coming with a car. The nightly price seems ok here and I suppose you get what you pay for since these days you need to spend over $200 a night it seems for a nicer hotel. On the other hand, very little is cheap around town (especially around the holidays) and you'd think they might have an indoor pool, or hot tub next to the outdoor pool, or other amenities for kids to increase the value of the stay. On a warmer stay the kids may have played more at the pool (it was at least heated nicely and it's a big space) and used the little sandy play areas/ping pong tables.

Yelp
First and foremost, the check-in process is ridiculously long. You will be waiting at least 30 minutes to check-in. When we got to the room the bed sheets had blood stains and hair in them and we were told that there was no housekeeping to change them and we would have to change them ourselves. When I stated this was unacceptable they did credit us one night of our two night stay, but they brought us sheets that were washed, but had grease stains on them and no blanket. We had to use the extra blanket that was in the closet (see pictures). Additionally, there are just too many people crammed into this property. Be prepared to wait!!!! We will not be staying here again.

Yelp
I do like this hotel and would stay again. I actually prefer it to Aventura for example. The good thing are the rooms are nice and bed very comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The pools are great if a little shallow all over but it's a family resort. The food selections are not bad at all, you can make yourself a very nice salad here for example. The meat pizza was very good. Only bad thing I ate is the friend chicken which was so dry and overcooked. The MAJOR flaw is that connected rooms have zero sound proofing between them. I hear every cough and word from next door as if they are in my room. My neighbors had some king of family reunion or something at 6.20am one day. If I stay again I will ask about none connected rooms if they have them. I have had a lovely break here the noise issue apart and have slept mostly well occasionally using white noise to help.

Yelp
This hotel is good for convenience of location and amenities that it holds. However it can be very crowded. Stayed here one night to check it out. We had rented at another hotel but stayed an extra day. So since we were going to universal we decided to give this place a try. We checked in early and I'm happy we did. Later on we saw the check in lines were worse than a line to Hagrid's motor bike ride. I called later on in the evening for sheets. My toddler sleeps on the floor just for safety so we usually set up a small cot on the floor. I only needed sheets. I called twice and nothing. Never came. So I decided to get them myself. I could not wait. Luckily I found it. the reason I found it was because the elevators were so backed up with people. Then I went to take the stairs and the handle to open the door was broken so you could not get in to use the stairs. I understand that this hotel is busy. More of a reason to assure everything is working properly especially a door. It would of relieved the elevator congestion. I would stay here again for a few reasons: One there is a Starbucks in the building. Two: the pool and bar area outside is wonderful. Three: they have a game room. Loved that. Four: it's next to universal.

Yelp
Yes it's a budget friendly resort, but sometimes it's worth paying a little bit more for better service. Stayed one night here with a couple of friends. Check-in line was awful. Took us over an hour to just get our customized key cards. I wish they offered contactless check-in. They also charge you per vehicle you park in the lot. It's not included in the resort fees. Room was easy to find and was pretty clean. They only gave us two towels though, when there were four of adults that checked in. We took advantage of their free shuttle to and from City Walk/Parks. This was the best part of the night. The next morning at 9am, we get a knock on our door (as we are all sleeping) saying the room needs to be cleaned and we need to be out. Umm... check-out was specifically at 11am? I informed the house keeper that it was only 9am and we have the room for another two hours. She just shrugged her shoulders, apologized, and carried on with her cart. How annoying.

Yelp
They don't tell you under the reservation that parking is $20 a night. We heard the people next door the entire night. The room itself was not too clean, I suggest bringing shower shoes. The furniture had random stains and our towels had holes in them. The bed also doesn't have a comforter, just like three thin sheets. Staff are great though, I wouldn't come back, quality didn't match the price. Nice pools though.

Yelp
I didn't want to do the parks, but I really wanted a special little couple of days....a getaway. We're at Dockside Inn and Suites at Universal. We got here very early and expected to have our luggage held until we could get into the room. I was happily surprised our room was ready. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We settled into our room, 2 Queen beds pretty much a regular size room and everything was clean and tidy. We had lunch downstairs in the cafeteria style restaurant. (Sorry no pictures) my turkey burger was cooked fresh, served on a brioche roll with Swiss, cranberry mayo and apple slaw and I chose the side salad. I could have had fries. It was hot, tender and juicy. I would have liked a bit more mayo but it was very good. The salad tasted fresh and I got to pick my dressing on the side. My husband had a Reuben on marble rye and he said it was very good as well. The portion of fries was a little small but he said it was adequate.

Yelp
Great value! Doesn't feel like a "value" hotel but a full-service resort. Incredibly friendly staff, spacious rooms and enough amenities to provide all the basics and a bit more. This hotel is larger than the sister Surfside property which means larger dining option and also larger crowds. Quick connections to the park via direct bus service. Two thumbs up and would return.

Yelp
They staff are awesome, great customer service, the hotel so clean and organized, I feel so welcome here. This is my 5th time booking here and I will Come back again.

Yelp
This is a great hotel for families. I was with a friend and I booked based off of photos and room, hotel are all great and clean and wonderful. The pool is huge. Many families and if I had one, this is definitely the place to stay.

Yelp
Good hotel, not super fancy, not really themed in any way, but perfectly fine. Nice pool. Too cold to use it the days I was there (though some others did). Ok souvenir shop, Starbucks in the lobby, good food court. Again not a humongous selection, but all the basics you could want. And fairly reasonably priced. Best part Is that transportation is included to the parks. Bus service. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Honestly I don't think I even waited that long. Would definitely stay here again,

Yelp
Make no mistake - this is a budget hotel at a non-budget price. The sheets are thin and cheap, the toilet refuses to flush, the bathroom fan doesn't work, and to top it off there was hair stuck to the walls in the bathroom. The food choices are absolute reheated garbage for premium prices (much like everything else at Universal). Please make your stay special by not including Universal in your trip in any way.

Yelp
We are members and I got this room for 86$ after tax. That's half the reason we became members :).... It is so convenient to be on property as everything just runs more smoothly. Check in was about 1:30 for me and I was done within 20 minutes and all the staff was friendly. It's magical here and I mean just all the happy - another reminder of why staying close to the parks is better... I'm only here one night as I am setting up a trip for two weeks from now at Lowe's Pacific and wanted to bring the car down by myself and fly the family down after :) so I can't evaluate restaurants or the pool but both looked great. The room is awesome for the rate I paid! It's bright, fresh, clean and the freshener they use has a beachy smell. I'm all about the beach and love the decor!! Im going to be looking up the pillows on Amazon. If there's something I don't like it's the beds are a little on the hard side and the walls are thin... I had a very nice experience and I am actually getting ready to leave and as I look around the room it's just such a pleasing -to-the-eye room that it's making it harder to get me out of here :)

Yelp
Anthony and I stayed here during the Orlando Informer event and our experience was great! We stayed in a queen suite, which would have been perfect for a small family or a group of friends- it was a lot of space for just the two of us! The hotel itself is pretty huge, with several different buildings and parking garages. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, however the line gets rather long and it may be better to wait and grab Starbucks inside the park.

Yelp
I'd like to have given them a better rating but here I am waiting on hold with Reservations (exceeding 45mins now) after having given up on waiting for Guest Services, just to get a copy of my invoice that was promised to me 5 days ago. I've even tried emailing Guest Services twice now with no response. I'll have to contest the charge if they can't give me something in writing about what I paid. Additionally, check-in was a nightmare. We arrived shortly before the check-in time and had no idea where to park in order to do so. There were only a few spaces lining the circle out front that you'd be lucky to squeeze into. It took us a few laps to score one. Once we got inside we stood in line for 10mins before finally spotting a sign in the back corner for those who checked in online. We probably should have stayed in the regular line though, because the online check in line was quite long and only 2 representatives were servicing it vs. the 4-5 in the regular line. It took forever to get through and when we finally make it up there and get our keys, the rep says we can drive over somewhere else to unload and park, never mentioning that we could access the tower through the lobby. So after holding all our luggage in line, we had to haul it all back out again. The whole process took so long that we missed our 5:45 anniversary dinner reservation at City Walk. We went out there anyway hoping to get in somewhere else but everything was booked up till 8:30pm. It was so frustrating that I cried on the bus back and we had to resort to eating in the hotel's cafeteria (expensive, sub par food with a sad atmosphere). You can see why I chose express check-out when offered, but that is backfiring since I'm still fighting to get an invoice. Aside from that, the rooms are clean with good amenities, but I would have really liked carpet rather than tile everywhere. It made for chilly feet and hearing the people upstairs walk around in heels and drop things continuously. All in all, I probably won't stay at another Disney resort. Not sure that early park admission is worth all the headaches it involves.

Yelp
Spend the money to stay elsewhere. This is my second time here. It's been long enough I forgot why I shouldn't ever book here again. 1. The elevators are insufficient to deal with the population load which means you can wait forever for a very crammed car. 2. You can hear ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING all neighbor are doing. Footsteps, hair dryers, etc. The sound proofing is non-existent. It's pretty ridiculous. This is my biggest gripe w this place and I vow to remember not to book again, 3. The check in is long.

Yelp
Summer never ends at Dockside Inn & Suites ! I have been planning my trip to Universal Orlando for months and did some research on which resort would be most appropriate for my trip. I booked the Harry Potter Wizarding World package directly through Universal for a party of 4. We received an adorable keepsake box, lanyards, luggage tags, a photo session, 8 breakfast vouchers to the Wizarding World themed restaurants and early park admission. I chose Dockside because it is a new resort under Loews Endless Summer properties. The modern nautical design was breathtaking and it was the most affordable. We have stayed 3 nights and our stay has been comfortable and convenient. Upon arrival we dined at the Pier 8 market and checked in promptly at 4:00 with Amber. The resort reminds me of a Hawaiian resort. I love the uniforms they wear in Guest Services! Amber provided excellent service and accommodated my request for a 1st floor 2 bedroom suite in Tower 1. Our floor was quiet as a mouse. No one to disrupt us at all. Housekeeping was excellent daily. The property is gorgeous. I love the holiday tree. The light fixtures, the bars, the pool area. This property is wonderful for the whole family. There is a small Game Room for the kids, bars by the pool, a wonderful large patio. I wish I had more time to enjoy the pool on a warm dry day. We lost a lot of pool time to the rain. Once we were able to the kids loved the large pool ! The complimentary shuttles were consistent and convenient. The staff overall was very courteous. Dining at the on site Pier 8 Market was affordable and convenient. I enjoyed the food better at the resort than outside ! The 8 piece chicken & waffle family meal was an excellent value with Mac & cheese. The kids loved the pizza! I enjoyed premade salads and desserts. Breakfast is a excellent value at $6-$11. The food was delicious and we were so full. The staff again was a pleasure ! They really aimed to please. Having the Starbucks and bars was very convenient when returning from a long day. My negatives are: the cheap bed linens, mattresses and terrible pillows ! The pillows made sleeping a nightmare. They felt like someone filled them with rocks. Very cheap. Bring Your own pillow ! B.Y.O.P! The bathrooms are tiny. When switching to the highest heat setting for water, there was a loud vibrating noise when showering. Granted, the water was piping hot! I liked that. For a large property you're going to do a lot of walking to your suite. Everything is far. All & all there are a lot of positives more than negatives.

Yelp
For the last three days, these high schoolers have been banging and running around. And what is funny is that they are a floor beneath me yet it sounds like they are above, on our floor, and running on the ceiling. We talked to staff and they say they cannot do anything but send security upstairs, ask the kids to stop, and complain to the chaperone. There are so many kids and they are knocking on doors and running away, racing in the halls and doing so much more. I do not understand why the hotel did not hire more security or set put kids rooms on the ground floor, if the hotel can't do anything about the noise the least they could do is make it less loud for people below them. We also seen some old dude telling the kids to go downstairs and hang out in the lobby but soon enough the kids will go back upstairs and run around. I use the term kid loosely, these "kids" are 100% in highschool and I'm not talking about 9th grade or 10th grade, their outfits look very nice and their over all appearance is nice and looks like they'd have manners yet I'm wrong.

Yelp
It's nice but when I got here the tub was clogged I got here at 10am mind you I was so hot from the plane ride and everything and wanted to take a nice shower ... but , the tub was filling rapidly and chunks of grey stuff was floating in the water so I couldn't shower . I called and they told me someone would come it is now 12am and no one has came and my tub is disgusting and it sucks because tomorrow I have to wake up early to go to a theme park and I would love to shower before going anywhere. When I called to ask how long they keep telling me anytime soon, etc. they keep giving me the runaround. They do have pleasant voices in the sound kind and they sound like they're trying to help but they are not being helpful because at the end of the day as I write this review, I am extremely tired and I'm dying to go to sleep . Sucks that I cannot because they can't give me an exact time of where and when they're coming.

Yelp
I have good and bad to say about this resort. The good is amazing and the bad is unbelievable. I'll start with the bad, the week prior to arrival I phoned the 1800 number to enquire about having snacks etc sent to the hotel before we arrived in the night with our three kids. I was sent from the 1800 number to the front desk of universal dockside. The staff member who took my call told me all items had to arrive 24 hours in advance and there was a charge of $5 per parcel. Items had to be delivered to the luggage desk. Pretty specific. Knowing this , I put directly into the instructions please use as few bags as possible and deliver to the luggage desk. I received not only a co formation it was delivered but photo evidence of it sitting on the appropriate desk and even a staff member present. When we arrived the next night at almost 11 with three hungry kids we were told they do not accept parcels. They got their manager who was smug (Rick) and told us another customer must have stolen it. Rick gave us a voucher for free breakfast. At this time we had ordered our shampoo conditioner snacks breakfast and beach towels to make a new things. We intended on going to universal in the morning, feeding the kids in the room and bringing some of our own snacks. Obviously this did not happen. Everything in the hotel was now closed so we had to leave to get the kids snacks and we had none of the things we planned on grabbing. I cannot stress the financial and general burden this situation caused. I forwarded the complaint further, they bounced it back to the hotel. Another manager told me that on camera staff bring all of my items into the staff only luggage area. We were given a few more coupons to eat at the hotel restaurant. This didn't help our lack of water bottles or snacks or anything else that we needed at the parks. We were told a two week investigation would take place. I reached back out to the hotel but my emails were ignored. Imagine universal studios condemning their staff stealing from a family. I suspect Disney resort would find this unacceptable. Proceed with caution at this resort. I read multiple other reviews since about gurlest being stolen from by the staff here. The good- I have food allergies and the chefs were amazing to deal with. Hotel is clean and pretty. More life guards at the pool then bay watch.

Yelp
I've been traveling to Orlando the past few years since Covid lockdowns ended. Stayed at this hotel in 2023 and again this year. It's a great budget hotel and better than the budget options Disney offers. As far as amenities, it doesn't have a ton. A pool and an anemic weight room. Some on property eateries and a small bar. But it's a budget hotel so you can't ask for much. I can't really give this place five stars, but for what you pay it's a great option. Rooms are clean and well worth the price.

Yelp
This was our first time staying at Dockside Inn and Suites. It was an amazing stay with my friends and family. The food from the restaurant in the hotel lobby was excellent, the food was fresh, tasty and delicious plus with affordable prices. Dockside has two pools with great other amenities. Our room with double beds was spacious with great views of the larger pool. There are free shuttle buses to Universal Studios and City walk, with great access to a slew of restaurants and shops.

Yelp

Yelp
We booked dockside for Halloween horror nights and so glad I did. The room was amazing and so clean . The staff at check in were super nice and soo helpful. This will be my go to hotel . The pools was awesome and heated. The best part was the food at the market place . The food and the price was great . One night we had the bacon cheese burger and it was freaking delicious and also the chicken and waffle platter was awesome and for the price you can't go wrong. It's had so many food choices it had something for everyone. I loved this hotel. It's totally worth it for the price and the shuttles to the park were always rolling in and on time. Also it had a Starbucks as well that is always good . The drinks at the bar inside and by the pool had yummy cocktails and decent beer selection. Definitely will be staying here again .
