We really enjoyed staying here. The staff was all very friendly and helpful through the entire trip. Parking was a breeze even at night after a theme park. We didn’t use the pool but it looked wonderful. The food at the cafe is delicious, the wait can get long sometimes, but it’s still a nice option to have. I don’t think we ate anything that didn’t taste great. The drinks at the pool bar were tasty and made perfectly. I love that we were able to fit a family of five in a room. Most places won’t accommodate a family that size without an extra room. It was a perfect set up for us.

Parking was easy and conveniently distanced from 10 minute quick check in area. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We found the room, in tower 2, had plenty of space, for six, in every aspect and everything was clean. Provided amenities, such as plastic plates, coffee, soaps, microwave, fridge, extra pillow and blanket, shelf space, picnic size table, etc. are great touches. Breakfast choices are affordable, savory, and have great portions. Check out was also quick and easy. We did not use other common amenities this trip since we just stayed for a Horror Night. Oh yes, the common lobby bathroom was also clean. The souvenir shop has a good variety of Universal items and clothing.

My daughter and I stayed here for the Rainbow Kitten Surprise Concert at Hard Rock Live. The suite was spacious and clean. The staff were all helpful and friendly. My daughter’s 23rd birthday the day after we got there. She has stage 4 glioblastoma and Infinite Wishes helped grant her wish by booking us a few days here after the concert. We had a wonderful time. The cafe has great food and the pool is really nice!

Google
What a great hotel! our biggest concern was any noise from neighbours but we did not get disturbed as all - we were on the top floor which may have helped. Room was perfect for what we required with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine which we used for hot water. Great swimming pool which had a bar next to it and also provided towels. Food court was good with a good selection of hot food and the prices were comparable to what we paid in elsewhere. Local amenities are close and walking distance, grocery shopping, gifts, subway and restaurants. Great buses into Universal parks and you never have to wait long for an air conditioned bus. Overall a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

I was there during a hurricane october 2024. employees are nice and professional. I was checking in the day the hurricane hit and they let me check in at 6 am so I could be inside before it got there. It's smaller than dockside but pretty much the same layout. not as big variety of food in their cafe. I would stay there again. the bus took us to universal studios within 10 minutes. across the street is dockside inn and other fast food and stores. I give this a 10 out of 10.

First time staying at Universal Endless Summer Surfside and it was exceptional in every way. Megan, at check in, was warm and inviting, resort & room, spotlessly clean and son who is vegan, said burger/fries from quick service, was great and was freshly prepared. Starbucks nice option as well. Too, short bus ride to parks (waited once for a bus to arrive otherwise one always waiting). We always travel with sound machine so IF there were any noise issues, we didn’t hear them or notice them at all. Each staff member we came in contact with, helpful and with a smile. Oh too, can’t beat the price. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful resort. Thank you Surfside!

We are frequent vacationers to Universal Orlando's Resort. This is the first year we had an issue with our stay...Our son woke to a bed bug on his pillow. We did not know that was what it was but thankfully we took a picture, checked google images to confirm, then informed the hotel staff immediately. We were only there two nights and intended to do EPA that day. The front desk attendee immediately had us change rooms and they told us a test would be done by a 3rd party company to see if more activity of the bugs was found in our first room, which apparently there was. We spent the day at the parks while testing was conducted and did not return until park close around 8:30pm. Therefore, the hotel comped our stay since we did book directly with them, they offered to send all our clothing and luggage to a 3rd party cleaner to be heat treated, they gave all members of our party a meal and drink voucher, they gave us funds to use to wash the clothing we would be wearing to the parks the following day, on site, while the rest of our items were professionally cleaned, and they also set up a paid taxi ride to Winter Haven the following night since we were due to go to Legoland the day that our clothing was being cleaned and would have an interruption in our travel plans since we could not pack up our stuff until we returned from the parks and it returned from the cleaners. We've never dealt with bed bugs in any capacity, we understand now how serious they can be and how infectious they can be very quickly, and we do feel that the hotel and staff treated us appropriately in this scenario and went above and beyond what many other hotels may do (just a guess). This scenario definitely added some undo stress to our vacation, but I don't think that could have been avoided that no matter what else the hotel did in light of the situation. All the staff members we dealt with remained very professional, they explained our options regarding the cleaning of our clothes and what may happen if the bugs made it home with us, and were very empathetic to the situation while maintaining that professionalism. Huge fist bump to all the staff members we dealt with at Surfside on Oct 16-18, and we will be back in the future.

Honestly everything it's good but I have really bad experience with the service you guys provide . When I arrive and just back to get our room wasn't clean floors are with hair and shower floor are with mold. So then you guys move me in another room that's great but then when I open my bed to sleep blacked are ripped and big holes on . I don't say anything because I don't want to be mean. It's my only concerns about this days everything else was amazing. People are so kind great, fabulous in one word super mega great .

Yelp
I spent some time here resort hopping. It is super adorable, I love the theming. My all time favorite spot is Cabana Bay, but if I did not stay there, I would probably book Endless Summer as my second choice. I love places that are heavily themed in a fun vacation manner. This place is it. The pricing of these hotels are great. This one offers everything I love in a relaxing vacation. A nice food court with refillable mugs. Their food court has a nice (although small) variety of food that my entire family enjoys. It has a fun pool that sticks with the theme. It has a nice pool bar with good drinks. A Starbucks, which is always appreciated while on vacation. It has the classic Universal gift shop with all of the good souvenirs in case you don't want to carry stuff around the park. The staff here was nice. Plenty of towels around the pool. You cannot go wrong here. This place is off strip,. but they are their buses to take you back ton Citywalk. You are also near International Drive, so you can walk to those other Orlando tourist activities. Or Uber there for less. At Universal, I tend to prefer the cheaper hotels to the pricier ones, they offer what we prefer and it is not worth the skip the line perk to me personally. I advice, if you stay at the budget hotel and want to skip the line, purchase it for one of the park days, you would probably save money overall that way.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying that I know this is a value Universal resort. The rooms were a bit small, especially the bathroom. Toilet was close to the door and shower so when you try to get the shower you have to maneuver around the toilet. The lobby was very pretty, kept very clean. Has a Starbucks and an Avis rental car in the lobby, which makes it convenient. The desk attendant, Jada, that checked us in was friendly and welcoming. The pool area is huge, and is staffed by lifeguards while open. Pool bar is close to the pool and convenient if you want to sip drinks by the pool. The garage parking is fairly close to the lobby area. There is a charge daily for self parking but beats you paying for parking at the theme park. You can hop on the shuttle to the theme parks.

Yelp
Can't beat the price for annual passholders. We were checked in by Sergio, and he was very accommodating and had answers to all our questions. We checked-in less than five minutes with no issues. Parking is now $21 for your stay. The pool is a lot more adult friendly compared to the resort Dockside across the street, so we appreciated that there wasn't a lot of little ones running around while we relaxed after a day at the parks.

Yelp
We stayed at Universal's Surfside Inn and Suited for our stay for Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. We were greeted by friendly staff and especially by the Manager Michael who asked us about our stay and gave us complimentary drinks and breakfast vouchers since we were here for a birthday. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Special should out to Garrett, the best bartender at the pool bar who holds it down all by himself and makes excellent drinks! I got the orange creamsicle one and it was so good! If you save your cup you get a lower price the next time. The hotel room was really comfortable, there's a Starbucks in the lobby and a food area where you can grab and go and also heat up or purchase ready made items. The lobby is huge, the pool is also nice and big, and the shuttles to and from Universal Studios and City Walk run often. Easy to get Lyfts and Ubers to get around Orlando. Would highly recommend staying at this property if you're planning on visiting Universal Studios in Orlando, Fl.

Yelp
Great value! Doesn't feel like a "value" hotel but a full-service resort. Incredibly friendly staff, spacious rooms and enough amenities to provide all the basics and a bit more. This hotel is slightly smaller than the sister Dockside property which means a smaller dining facility but also smaller crowds. Quick connections to the park via direct bus service. Two thumbs up and would return.

Yelp
My family and I stayed at Universal's Endless Summer Resort for five nights. There is a parking garage at this Resort. You have to pay to park and the amount is added to your bill. The lobby is big, bright, and open. There is a Starbucks and a Cafe in there. The check in area has several stations and are in the open area. The people working were smiling and very friendly. At one end of the building there were automatic doors that opened up to the pool area. There is also a store where you can buy some merchandise. After we checked in we went to our Suite. Luckily we got a 1st floor Suite which made it convenient to unload our luggage and load it back up when we were heading out for the day and to leave after checking out. Our Suite had three beds, a sink area with two sinks, a toilet and shower, and a little kitchen area that included a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and a sink. The kitchen area also had a table and two chairs and a bench seat. It was perfect for our family of four. The Suite was very clean and like new. We were given enough towels for all of us plus a few extra. We didn't use the cleaning service but did have them change out the trash for us and give us extra tissues. They were very friendly and accommodating. There is a Swimming Pool, an Outdoor Bar, a Game Room and Fitness Center in the Resort. We ate at the Beach Break Cafe several times as the food was good and we used the laundry room to wash and dry our clothes during our stay. We were really comfortable here and enjoyed our stay. It was a very positive experience.

Yelp
I was a little skeptical of this place before coming-some of the reviews were a tad frightening, but the price really can't be beat, so figured we could give it a try. Glad we did. Hotel is very clean and everyone we encountered very friendly. Had a 2 queen beds with 4 adults in it-room size was plenty. Tiller and shower is separate from the sink, which made getting ready in the morning much easier. Shuttle to Universal ran about every 15 minutes .... 6 am until 1 hour after City Walk closes. Super easy. Staying in this hotel allowed us entry to the park one hour prior to park open (for us that was 8am)....in the shuttle line at 7:30...was a very long line-got to the park a little after 8. Pool is very large with plenty of chairs and towels. Parking is $15 a night, if you are a guest. We will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My son and I were driving back home to South Florida from GA and decided to spend the night at Surfside Inn so that we could do a night out at Universal Orlando's City Walk Pros: - cheap rates for being a Universal property (having the Florida resident discount made it even cheaper than outside hotels FYI) - shuttles run to/from the parks until 1am - super cool themed - heated pool -Comcast cable TV -Starbucks and cafeteria style food -we were upgraded to a pool view -this is one of the smaller hotels on site and you can tell in the lack of big crowds, which was great! Noise levels were never too bad Cons: - the rooms are super small - even though our a/c was set to 72 all night, the room felt warm - our room was lacking a lot of basics that the other Universal hotels we've stayed at had, like laundry bags, pen/pad of paper, Not even Park/Hotel/Shuttle info -The light switch for the bathroom is located all the way by the hallway entry door -mattress was lumpy and too soft. I slept horribly. My son hated the pillows- he said that they were too hard and hurt his neck (others have same issue). Overall I'm on the fence with this place. It's great for economy stays but lacked some of the typical Universal touches that I'm used to. If I'm on a budget I'd come back, but I'm more likely to stay at one of the more moderate priced hotels next time

Yelp
My family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights. The pool is great and the food in the lobby tastes wonderful- decent pricing too. The best part was housekeeping. It was really nice to come back to well-made beds and fresh linens after a long day at the parks. The only two things we did not like were: 1. No drawer space to put clothing- very small rooms (even the suites are tiny) 2. There is no fan in the bathroom and the door and walls are THIN. Not a fan of everyone in the room being able to hear each other on the toilet.

Yelp
Room still not ready at 4 pm and parks close at 7:00. Food court food terrible. Staff seem unengaged. Will not return.

Yelp
I feel like I got my money's worth here. It's cute and small. Everything is surf themed. The transportation to and from the parks were constantly running to the point where it exceeded my expectations. With your reservation you get early entry into the parks and I loved that as there was a line before the park even opens. The pool is shallow but it's loads of fun. They have a fitness room. The concierge is knowledgeable and super helpful. I love that when we purchased things in the park we got it sent to our room so we didn't have to carry it around. The hotel is small. There were a lot of guests but it still felt intimate. The bartender at the pool bar was awesome. Souvenir cups get you a discount on refills. And the little shop by the lobby is super convenient for last minute things when you don't feel like walking across the street to Walgreens. My only gripe is that the free wifi was frustrating and spotty but it was free as data service was not that great. A few reviews complained that the beds were uncomfortable. I didn't mind them. The blankets are super thin though. I knew that going in. The food options were cool. I had a build your own salad and it was reasonably priced. I also tried the chicken sandwich. I'd definitely book here again off location, food, and customer service.

Yelp
No free parking for guest to get picked up and it seems like the checkin staff is on cloud nine ! I explained my self to the young lady 3 times If you have family visiting choose other hotels you do have options! And better choices!

Yelp
My family and I recently stayed at Surfside and we loved it. They were very accommodating to our needs. The cafe was incredible! We unfortunately didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities they had to offer. It wasn't a perfect stay but pretty close! The parking fees are kind of an eye roll. We barely had cell service and we tried to rely on the free wifi but that was terrible. They want you to pay for the premium wifi. And I'm not sure if it was just our room but we felt like the a/c wasn't the greatest and it kept turning off. It was a hot week! Overall, we would stay here again. For the most part, it is an affordable place with lots to offer but those little fees such as parking and having to pay for the better wifi, were disappointing.

Yelp
I've stayed here when it first opened and this place is beautiful and not far from the parks. Transportation is available outside the hotel to bring you to the parks. I believe starting at 6:30am for early park entrance. My complaint with this is that they pack everyone on the bus like sardines. People standing and seated, cramped. Don't understand why when people enter the bus that they don't head all the way to the and start filling in the seats instead of just stopping and sitting and having empty seats that people then have to squeeze into because others don't want strangers next to them. The hotel itself is very clean and they make sure to remind you with signs and verbal ques to wear a mask when out of your room. Half my party was able to check in while I had flight issues and they were informed that when we arrived, regardless of time, we'd be able to get some food from the café. Well that wasn't completely true. I arrived at midnight and attempted to call the front desk (café) for some pizza and after waiting almost 15mins for someone to answer, we were informed that for service stopped at 11 and they hung up. After speaking with staff at the front desk I was informed that there is no 24/7 food service at the hotel and that is need to door dash/Uber eats some food if I were hungry. The pool area was always clean but was chilly to me. Even the kids asked to leave the pool because they were cold (I believe it was heated). The bar staff were always friendly, talkative and helpful whenever questions were asked. The rooms were a nice size, clean and fresh. My complaint with my room was that there was no fitted sheet on the bed but rather a regular one which would not stay on the mattress the way I slept. Constantly woke up to sleeping directly on the mattress (gross). Also my refrigerator was not getting cold and was missing a pet underneath which made it lop sided. One thing i feel the room is missing is a microwave. With all the food you can get off the resort/at a park etc., it'd be nice to warm it up in the comfort of your room instead of having to go to the cafe. Starbucks is inside, near the lobby and depending when you're trying to get your caffeine fix, the line may or may not be long.

Yelp
Surfside was the place. It was perfect for the price and length of stay. For 6 days and 5 nights; the cost was a little under $900 per room. This did not include food of which they had plenty at the Cafe located downstairs on the main level. There is also a shuttle that runs every 10 minutes to Universal Studios Parks. Those are pretty close by, but I wouldn't recommend walking. There is a walgreens store close by too. There is a nice size pool, fitness room, game room, gift shop and rental car station. It's all there! From the moment we checked in, all the staff gave us A1 service. Our rooms were clean and well stocked with towels. We had requested two connecting rooms but ended up with rooms side by side on the 4th floor facing the beautiful pool and court yard downstairs. My room had two occupants and the second had 3. On our 1st night, we had our 1st of many meals at the Cafe. I had some baked chicken with rice and veggies. This was my least favorite meal of the entire stay. By the way, this hotel offers unlimited drinks if you buy the cup for the length of your stay. We purchased one for $19 and change. This later became an issue with one of the cashiers Kendra this morning bek g our check out date. It also allows you to get a coffee in a disposable cup daily. Lots of condiments for your convenience at the refill station too. Back to what we ordered.. my son had a cheese pizza and chose to have that every night after that. It was that yummy. I on the other had opted to try as many options from the Cafe. Wouldn't be a yelper if food was not my thing. I had shrimp pesto pasta made by the chef named Sudan. Another night I tried the salad bar. I also tried the fresh green juice. Oatmeal, chicken sandwich. Again my favorite thing was the shrimp pesto pasta. I had that 2 nights in a row. By the way, I had the kids size meal and I had left overs. It also came with a drink. All kids meals come with a kids size meal. I wanted to give a 4.5 star but I don't think that would be fair to all the staff at the hotel due to a minor incident at the Cafe this morning. I won't go into too much details but remember i had mentioned the reusable cup and a cashier Kendra. Well she was extremely rude to me, almost ruined my last day. The refillable cup wouldn't refill when I went to fill it up so I got in line and she got all irritated with me right away asking for a receipt and was speaking to me like I didn't belong there or i was trying to get free drinks. Infact, before it was my turn to be served, while I stood in line, she singled me out to ask me this "sweetheart, is there something you need? I explained after actually paying for the 1st two days for drinks and on day 3 purchasing a cup for our entire length of stay 5 days, the cup had expired. She was very unhelpful towards me. In short she had what I would call cooning/uncle ruckus behavior. Feel free to look those terms up. I wonder if anyone else has experienced it. She just seemed to have it out for me...dinning while black i guess and being policeced by the black cashier named Kendra. I was upset and did lose my cool and asked for a manager, I vented and then complained to the front counter again. Nothing a little training won't fix. A special thanks to all the other staff though, Angela the Cafe Manger, Alexis and her team at the front desk. Janice and her crew taking orders, ringing us up with huge smiles on their faces despite being busy. The cleaning/housekeeping crew and all the staff in the back we didn't get to see. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I recommend this hotel! A1

Yelp
Came here for one night after Halloween Horror Nights.. cute budget hotel.. we decided to stay in a 2 bedroom. Rooms are a bit small, standard and very very basic.. Not sure if I would necessarily stay here again, but it was a place to stay.

Yelp
Had an excellent stay at Universals surf side inn. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They were great with my service dog. Their cafe food was always good and they had no problem accommodating my dietary restrictions. The shuttle bus runs every 5 minutes and is a huge perk of staying at the hotel. 10/10 will definitely stay here again!

Yelp
This hotel is okay, the pool area is very nice and I did enjoy that. However, the parking situation is an absolute nightmare. We have been here three times and every single time the key card they gave you does not work then causing a giant line why you hit the button and wait for somebody to try to assist you. The hallways always smell musty. I'm not sure what it is but it just always smells like wet dog. The rooms are okay and definitely what you paid for. I understand that this hotel isn't as lavish as some of the other hotels however, it is still a universal hotel and I feel like it should at least hold up to standard.. realistically, I probably wouldn't stay here again, unless I had to .

Yelp
I am only going to post this for a couple days so hopefully Management will take note. This is a wonderful, simple hotel with great rooms and a great cafeteria. But... I reserved and paid to have a room for our after midnight arrival. I booked the room and paid the first night, May 20th. Our flights arrived after midnight on the 21st. We arrived at this hotel and were told the room was canceled as a no show. Super weird. The registration clerk said he could rebook it since they were not full. Very uncool practices here.i tried to explain that if I booked it for the 21st, check in would not be possible until that afternoon but no comprende. Be very careful here. I specified late arrival when I booked the 20th. Second complaint, a dark skinned young woman with short hair stuck like glue to us in the gift shop. Basically ran us out. I'm sorry her perception of the world is one of criminal intent but had nothing to do with us.

Nicole F.

Yelp
We stayed 2 nights in a standard room. Check in process online was sooooo fast and easy. I got out room keys in under 2 minutes and we were set! Parking was the only negative we experienced, the lot for tower 1 fills up quickly and the only other option was the garage on the other side. We left to go have dinner at Disney springs and had to park in the garage afterward. Thankfully some spots in the first lot opened up in the morning and we moved there. To get in and out of the lot is pretty challenging but if you're not planning on leaving, it's great. We used the bus to get to universal. Line was short and the bus arrived quickly. It's a quick ride across to city walk/the parks. Coming back at 9:30/10:00 was really quick and easy too. Hotel room was simple, clean, and comfortable. Starbucks in the lobby was quick. We did not make it to the pool bar or pool but love having the option so close! We also did not have any of the food on property. Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to do it again sometime!

Yelp
Did we enjoy it - we'll sort of. Was it value for money. No not really. How good was the breakfast - hot breakfast was served cold for which there is no excuse. How could the server be so detached from what's she's doing not even to realise she's serving food meant to be hot, cold? There was a microwave but microwaving scrambled egg isn't a good idea. What was the best part - the friendly staff at check-in/out and how efficient they were. The coffee at the breakfast bar was ace. The security was good. The lifts didn't work if you didn't have a working room key card which was reassuring. Did anything bother us - well having to pay extra to park our car felt like a rip-off and was a real bug bear for me. It was already over £100 a night for a fairly basic room and then another £14 for the car. As we say in our home country - yer having a laugh. We didn't stay long enough to use the facilities, nor did we use the 'free' bus to go to Universal Studios - truth be told we watched this hotel and it's nearby sister hotel being built over time on the old Wet n' Wild site and we were curious just to try it out. We left our resort just to try it out for one night. So would we return - most likely not - there are better deals to be had that include a hot breakfast that is hot, with park transportation and complimentary hotel guest parking. They've also already got a pre - written standard form of apology built in to reply to critical reviews - some reference to their leaders as if they are on another planet.

Yelp
We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Orlando Studios. We were excited for the early entry & bus transportation. The staff here were very nice and friendly - no issues with that. The rooms, however, were terrible. We had a lot of issues with the TV working. The beds were awful. It felt like sleeping in a tent. The blankets were thin and scratchy. We asked for more on the second night, but we only received thin, scratchy blankets. The towels provided were extremely dirty. Out of the 10 towels we had received (on day 2 they brought us more towels upon request), 8 of them had dark, dirty stains on them. It was so nasty. I hated the bathroom set up. The shower & toilet were in one very small room. Then when you exit into the vanity/mirror area, there is no door. So if you were with people who you're uncomfortable changing in front of, you would have to do it inside the tiny shower area. Starbucks on site was a plus. Bus transportation could be convenient, but the wait between buses was pretty long. For reference, at Disney World, typically the buses arrive continuously upon park closure. We were close enough to walk (maybe 1 mile max) to the park, but we did want to try out the bus since we had technically paid for it. Overall, I would much rather pay more to stay at one of their other resorts if I do visit the parks in the future.

Yelp
The Surfside Inn is a Universal value resort that offers tons of great amenities for a reasonable price. First and foremost the price of their 1 bedroom suite is very affordable at $79-$129 a night. The suite sleeps 6 adults with kitchenette. The cute kitchen picnic table is comfortable and handy. At check in, we got our hotel keys and park tickets with 15 minutes of arrival. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of park hours. Jessie was a great help to us for our park planning. Outstanding!! The hotel has its own Universal Studios store, full service Starbucks, Sand Bar, great fitness center and large pool. We especially loved their convenience store and counter service restaurant that had a vast menu. Their cafe food was surprisingly fantastic and worthy of a table service restaurant with great prices. Kids meal of chicken tenders, fresh seasoned fries, apple sauce and drink is $6. Wow! We ordered this many times for a quick snack. The resort has Universal buses coming every 5 minutes and we never waited for a bus at the park or at the hotel. Amazing fast shuttle service! Overall, for the price value, room size, tasty hotel food, many resort amenities, and it's across the street from Walgreens, we agreed this hotel deserves a 5 star rating for being a value resort. If you are looking for a good value for your dollar and have a bigger family, we highly recommend this great value resort.

Yelp
So, this was my first time staying at a Universal studios resort but not first time to Universal I would have to say comparing the experiences I won't waste the money to stay at a resort of theirs again....For me the extreme prices and what you get for staying there is not worth the extra expense. Prior we stayed in Kissimmee affordable and had own kitchennet multiple rooms and much cheaper than resort....pool was always calm and welcoming nice atmosphere. The resorts food was laughable like it was gross but expensive as all get out....not sure how you mess up a pancake but they did and they were gross small bag of chips 4 bucks. The hour extra you get in the park is about the equivalent of 1 rise if you make it we chose Harry Potter! But nope not worth it. The staff is very nonchalant only 1 staff member was good lady dark hair very attentive. You have to pay to get your package you pay to ship to yourself. Then after i had my pack confirmed it was delivered and signed for went to pick it up 5 hours after receiving the notice and they said they didnt have it next morning didnt have it....afternoon didnt have it said i had to wait 24 for processing which by now it cant serve its purpose was for a cheer event.....after the cheer event they now have two packages 1 that for some reason was delivered that day and didnt need to be processed at all and the other that they couldnt locate anywhere and was now useless. So why do some packages have to be processed and others not lol right the lies! Then I asked forbhelp with something took them 4 more request for them to actually complete after repeatedly tellig me they were sendjng someone went through ans entire shift change to the point i had to reexplain what was needed to the new person....whew nope

Yelp
Chose to stay here since we were going to Universal Studios and they offer 1 hour early entry to Islands of Adventure, not Universal Studios, if you stay at their resort. Price was affordable. I arrived around 2 am and was greeted by a friendly front desk employee, didn't get her name, she was blond short hair. She was pleasant and explained all hotel amenities etc. This location has an Avis car rental on site right next to the front desk, Starbucks, and literally across the street a KFC and Walgreens. So if you need any toiletries you only need to cross the street. In my experience, upon arrival the room was clean and very nice. They have daily room service. I found the cafe hours extremely convenient. Couple times we left the theme parks late and needed a quick bite, they are open until 11pm. The food selection was great. They have soups, salad bar, burgers, pizza, sandwiches and more. Overall I was impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
We had an awesome stay at Surfside! Let me start by congratulating you all on a staff well picked and trained. The customer service was beyond above and beyond. It was personalized and filled with joy and kindness. I decorated our 9 year olds room with balloons and Spider-Man party trinkets and every afternoon I would find housekeeping did balloon designs and really helped cater and personalize our experience! Every single person I interacted with was kind, joyful, and ready to help. Shoutout to Lisa from the front desk in particular! Thank you girl for you Contagious smile and can do attitude! Girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! I have nothing negative to say at all! Keep up the excellent work! Affordable for the local Families and worth every single penny. Would 1000000 recommend and stay again!

Yelp
I gave them a 2 star because of the buses that got us from the hotel to the park. Other than that I will never stay there again. Blood on bathroom wall, dirty sheets, blood stain in bathroom floor. Even after taking a shower I still felt dirty because the shower was dirty too. Too much vomit around the property on new years eve. Yuck! They are definitely lacking in the area of cleanliness. If it wasn't for the buses and I was already out the money I would have slept in my car because it was cleaner. The place is much too busy and the room seemed to be on a nascar track because all I could hear was cars the entire night. I barely slept a wink.

Yelp
We recently stayed at the Endless Summer Resort for the first time. While it was an okay stay, the experience wasn't the best. We arrived early (10:30am) and our reservation was until 4:00. I didn't know that's the time reservations started. They said once the room was open, we would be okay to go. We waited for an hour and still had no answer. We ended going to the park to kill time, got back at 3:30 and still had no notification a room was available. I had to wait in line and ask again for our room. It seemed like the staff was overwhelmed so I wasn't upset. It's just frustrating. Our room was actually nice and faced the pool. There is a Starbucks and a restaurant in the lobby. The restaurant has good food. I ate there a couple of times and was pleasantly surprised. A great thing about staying here is the shuttle access to the parks. Due to COVID, the shuttles take longer because only a certain amount can be on at a time. Keep this in mind. We did stay during COVID so things were different. They take your temperature every day and give you a wrist band if you don't have a high temp. They also have hand sanitizer everywhere. Of course masks are required when not in your room. Overall, it was an okay experience staying here. We are staying again in January just because it's the cheapest option. I will definitely be updated my review then.

Yelp
Wonderful place to stay. The suites are large and well equipped especially for families. Hannah was amazing and accommodating. The pool is large with plenty of chairs and a lifeguard on duty. We really enjoyed our stay. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Yelp
We have stayed here many times. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They greet you with a smile everyday. The cafe service is fast and friendly. Several people walk around the cafe cleaning. Our room was cleaned daily and it was immaculate. My husband and I will definitely come here again.

Yelp
Staff were not prepared for our team and did not let us check into our rooms until 4 p.m. and then we still weren't fully booked in and in our rooms by 9:30 p.m. Rooms are comfortable, clean, well maintained, Starbucks is great and can be easily accessed in the main lobby. Other than staff NOT being prepared AT ALL and giving out keys to other team mates without asking their names. Staff was very uncoordinated and didn't seem to be well-trained. The Pool was great. Would like to see better trained staff.

Yelp
this whole experience was not good what so ever. The long lines were unbelievable. waited over 4 hours for a rooom, not enough staff working and helping. If you are looking for a room you wait in a line to be told if you got ur room just for them to say no after waiting in a 10 min line. this was an horrible experience. most times rooms were not even clean when given to people. beds had dirt and took the staff an hour to get there to clean it. Be Better

Yelp
The man at the front desk by the name of John Blair was very rude and antagonizing. My boyfriend who is a veteran asked if they offered a military discount (which he typically doesn't ask, but since park tickets were expensive he was trying to help his family get a discount). John Blair stated that they did not, my boyfriend said that was a shame but okay. John Blair proceeded to say "it didn't matter to him because he doesn't lose any sleep at night over it". Extremely disrespectful to say. My boyfriend was aggravated by that comment and John Blair noticed this and said "you seem angry today man you okay" in an antagonizing nature. 0/5 stars for customer service. The rooms were okay and housekeeping did a good job. The only complaint there would be that the bed comforters were very thin, old and ratty. 3/5 stars there. The food in the cafeteria was delicious and the Starbucks was a nice amenity to have. Most likely won't return because of John Blair!

Yelp
It's a great resort. Beautiful view, yummy food. My family almost had every brunch and casual dinner there. Clean room, large pool, brand new amenities, close to the parks. Next time will try the dockside.

Yelp
Issues: They lock you out of the pool area when you check out, even if you are staying at the resort until 6pm that day. You can watch people in the pool area, and sit outside the pool area, but you can't dip your feet in, or lay around the pool. The bed was hard and not easy to sleep on. The pillows are thin and not comfortable. The walls are paper thin. One night, I was sleeping, exhausted from the day, and at 11 pm I was woken up by the family next to me having a screaming match for the next half hour. I could hear every single word. I finally turned my television on, and that drowned out the sound. I arrived at midnight to check in, after a late flight, and it took forever. There were two desks open and it was a slow process, between waiting for some other people to check in, and then my own check in. The employees were not friendly. The room looked out onto the roof and I got a good view of the ac unit and the dilapatated looking store fronts outside the resort Non-Issues: They have luggage storage. Their food in the cafe areas is ok. I had a breakfast sandwich, which was really good. The employees at the cafe were really nice. I liked that. They engaged with you and were always smiling. The cold sandwich I had at the cafe was ok. It was a sandwich that you make at home; nothing special. The food was reasonable. I liked the transportation to and from the theme parks and City Walk. The rooms are clean and modern looking, which I like. The theme is fun. Would I stay here again? No. I was on a budget, and learned my lesson. For a couple days it is ok. If I had more time, I would have liked to explore the other hotels on Universal's property, but it just wasn't in the cards.

Yelp
I felt very mixed. The hotel is wonderful in many regards. The pool and bar and communal amenities are great and if I were going with a group of kids, it would be great. However, the service was not impressive to me. We arrived early after a red eye flight from the West Coast. And although I requested an early check in and provided details about our situation ahead of time, without any notice of being unable to accommodate our request, we were told we would have to wait until 8 hours to check in. Then, upon getting into our room, the baseboards of the room were falling off the walls and paint in the room was peeling off the wall. Just not the kind of experience one would hope for.

Yelp
The only thing I can compare this hotel is with the only other 2 we've stayed, The Hard Rock and Sapphire Falls. Try not to get a room on the pool side first floor. You have to keep both drapes closed at all times or risk anyone sitting at the pool looking in the room(unless you're into that stuff). They moved us right away to the 9th floor with a much better view and no peeping Toms. Problem is both rooms have smallish closet, three drawers and some hooks under the TV for clothes. Don't even get me started on the night stands. They are about the the size of an airplane seat trays. The pool is basic with no bells or whistles. At the other hotels they have 32oz collectible refillable beer Steins. This place has 12oz plastic cups. I'm sorry to say they have No restaurants, no pool side servers, no pool games and no movie night (Basic). I didn't much care for the boat ride to the park at the other hotels, but the bus ride over to city walk and the security is kinda a drag. I didn't have a problem with the beds, walls or staff. The staff is awesome and I didn't hear anyone fighting or making up. I guess you get what you pay for and this place was way cheaper then the others. Saying that I'm sorry but we will never stay here again. It seems I have grown a custom to the bells and whistles.

Yelp
This is a no fuss, average in every way hotel/resort. I'd imagine that it's ideal for families on a budget. The rooms were bright and inviting on the surface however, after a two night stay I was able to see where the rooms and amenities were lacking. First, the linens are very thin. I woke up at various time of the night cold and had to take off another blanket on the other bed to warm up. The room I stayed in had a wobbly toilet that I would imagine will probably break after a few more visitors. The floors were also not the cleanest. I saw some hair that wasn't mine around the entrances of the room and bathroom. It seems like there is also a disconnect between the staff here. I forgot my toothbrush and my partner was kind enough to call down and ask the front desk if they had any. The front desk said he could walk to the lobby and pick one up. Once he was there, someone at the desk told him that the hotel does not provide those amenities. The one good thing about this hotel is that it's close to the Universal Studios park. There is a shuttle that comes regularly to pick and drop off guests to and from the park. If you're on a budget, this is an option. However, I don't think I'd stay at this property again unless I really needed to.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my stay in a 2 Bedroom Family Suite at Surfside Inn and Suites. The best part of the stay was the size of the room. Having 3 beds gave the flexibility to spread out. It was nice that the room with one bed had a door that closed off from the rest of the room. Finding an "official theme park hotel" with a VALUE hotel that includes a suite is unheard of. Yes, other hotels might have them- but they most likely do not include the same amount of beds or the suite is much more in price. This place is a great value. The dining areas is nice as it comes with a microwave, fridge, sink, and table. The sink came in handy with rinsing out coke freestyle cups after a day at the parks. There was no issue with the distance from Universal. This location is where the old wet n wild used to be. While it is technically on international drive and not as close as the other resorts, there was no problem. Complimentary shuttle came often, and the trip to universal was quick - around 7 minutes or so. My biggest complaint is that the rooms were freezing cold or extremely hot. There was no in between. Also the towels were extremely cheap and uncomfortable to use. While this was annoying it definitely is not a deal breaker, and will stay here again. Reminders *This hotel does not include Universal Express. *This hotel includes Early Park Admission *There are two hotels in one Surfside (now open) and Dockside (opening December 2020) *Free bus to Universal Orlando Resort *Very clean and safe *Big space for great value

Yelp
I'd say this place is good to stay at if you're only going to be here to sleep, but thats still wrong. The walls and floors are super thin. You can hear EVERYTHING. I could hear the people above me opening their curtains, walking around in flip flops, pulling out a chair, baby crying etc. In the bathroom you can hear the people in the next room also using the bathroom. It feels like you're in a stall. The parking sucks. Theres a 3 floor parking garage, but it's not attached to the hotel so you still have to walk a significant amount depending on where your room is. You also have to pay $15 a day to park if you're staying at the hotel. The rooms themselves are just ok. The beds and pillows are not very comfortable. The curtains leave a big gap in the middle. Our hot water didn't work and the bathroom smelled like someone had just poured lysol all over the floor and then used a dirty mop to clean it. We didn't use the pool or other amenities so unsure about those. There is a starbucks in the lobby but we didn't try. Shuttles stop at multiple universal destinations and run late into the night. I'll leave it at this: if you're with small children and you're just going to be out at parks all day and then come back to sleep, this is an ok place to do that. If you're on vacation and want to enjoy sleeping in, relaxing etc, spend the extra money to do it somewhere else.

Yelp
We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. It was a great experience with our 14 year old and 6 year old. Went with the 2 bedroom suite which was enough space for us. Clean room and bathroom. Shower pressure was great . Love the vibe and ambiance. We did not order from the restaurant but def will next time. Pool is so nice to relax at after a day at the park. We brought our on own snacks and drinks which helped a ton with costs. Shuttle service was great and came every 10-15 min. Starbucks inside was a great touch. Staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping came everyday which was nice. Lots of restaurants and shops close by if you need a change from the park. Overall, great experience and worth the costs. We may try Dockside next time.

Yelp
So I'm giving this hotel four stars based on the practicality of it's prices and their facilities. It is not the fanciest hotel you will stay at and the furniture is not the prettiest or best one out there. Nevertheless, it is pretty decent and you have to consider the purpose of this hotel. Most rooms are priced at $89.00 a night with each room having two queen beds. Their drinks are pretty decently priced and their food averages between $10-15 per entrée. This hotel offers great service, with comfy and stylist facility with a fair price for families and/or large groups. Plus, you get early entrances to them parks with buses that drive you right up to each park. I mean, when you think of how practical the prices are, you gotta give credit where credit is due. You get what you pay for. Only thing i would change: arcade prices are insane, parking is a bit high (although pretty consistent with most hotels) and I would've appreciated a discount of annual pass holders. If even a 10%. Other than that, the pool is pretty cool with underwater speakers and lots of space and there's a Starbucks in the lobby.

Yelp
Pros: Early entry into Universal Studios for Diagon Alley and Minions Shuttle to Universal parks Items bought in the parks delivered to the hotel Bed was decently comfortable Water pressure was good USB outlets Very friendly staff Ask for extra toiletries and they give you a ton Most meals under $12 Starbucks in the lobby AC works well Cons: Rooms not cleaned well - there was hair in the tub in our 1st room, crumbs all over the floor in our 2nd. Small rooms Paper thin walls Horrible quality towels and bedding - fabric softener would go along way here Pillows overstuffed and hurt your neck Poorly designed parking entry and exist - almost impossible to scan room key without hanging out of your car.

Yelp
I'm going to give a full breakdown below but all in all I do recommend this hotel. Pros: - Free Shuttle to Universal Studios, even accommodating scooters. It was around the clock which was helpful! -Scooter delivery to the hotel -Luggage check available -Starbucks (although hours of operation are limited) -Clean! -Friendly staff, although consistency in information provided is a problem (see below). -Poolside bar - drinks were weak but it was nice to have a drink by the pool. - Prices are not bad considering this is a Universal resort. Cons: -Inconsistency of info provided at check-in. I came here with a party of 5 and we had 2 rooms. My aunt and I checked in at the same time but she was given much, much more info at check-in than I was given, while I was given directions to the shuttle pickup place and she didn't receive that info by her attendant. -The cafeteria is not great. I'm going to leave the details of that for the restaurant page. - The beds were a uncomfortable. I'm a stomach sleeper and the pillows were waaaaay too full for me to sleep comfortably. Even when I tried to sleep on my side, the pillows were uncomfortable. I need more cover and the bedding was very thin. -Walls and doors of the rooms are really thin. I was in my room and the other room of our party and you could hear lots of noise from inside both rooms.

Yelp
Stayed in a two bedroom suite for three adults since the suite offers three full sized beds. Hotel is relatively new and offers shuttle service to Universal Studios. My checkin experience was quick and the clerk was thorough with explanations of amenities. My niece's checkin? Not so much. We think it was the girl's quitting time. Suites are clean and feature two TVs There's a Starbucks on site with very limited hours. That's definitely a bummer. Microwave in the room didn't work. No extra blankets or pillows. Phone didn't work. Couldn't figure out how to work the TV remote. Walls are paper thin. My sister didn't sleep well since she heard every noise including door knocks, housekeeping cart wheels, kids running down the hallway and a lullaby playing. The latter was probably a family's bedtime routine. For theme park convenience, I would recommend it. There is a free shuttle that comes quite regularly. No one explained where to get on the shuttle though. That would have been nice considering my sister was traveling on a rented scooter. The shuttle drivers were the best part. They assisted my sister by helping her onto and off the bus. The scooter required special maneuvering and bus attachment and setup. A plus to the shuttle drivers!

Yelp
This hotel is so nice and affordable. I would definitely stay here again if ever coming back to Universal. Pros: Spacious rooms Clean Friendliest staff Kendra and Garrett best bartenders Gigantic Pool Cafè Starbucks Fast shuttle service to universal parks Gift shop Security to enter the elevator and pool areas- need room keys to activate. Double sinks Refrigerator and microwave Cons Parking is $15 a day plus tax Blankets are like sandpaper We really liked it here and highly recommend

Yelp
Are you an adult? This place is a joke. Do you want somewhere to walk to have food and an adult beverage (what a concept)? Well too bad they have a kids cafeteria & a "bar" that closes before midnight with no food unlike every other bar in the United States. Your only option for food if you don't want to eat in a high school cafeteria is Grubhub or calling for a pizza that has an hour backup. I will never set foot in this awful hotel again, it's horrible.

Yelp
This was the first Universal Orlando Resorts I've stayed at. I knew from then on I would always consider staying at Universal first! Not only was the price incredible (hopefully it stays that way) but the location, transportation, cleanliness, and employees were great as well! From Starbucks, to poolside meals, to a walking trail around the resort there is something for everyone to enjoy. Will definitely stay again!
