"If there's a brand that can get us to wear 'real clothes' on a plane, it's Universal Standard. With clothes from size 00 to 40, its mission is to create clothing that looks and feels good on every body, using fabrics like premium Peruvian cotton, soft Italian Merino wool, and French satin-back crepe to do so. The Promenade linen jumpsuit could easily be worn all day long, and the Sally Liquid Jersey shirt dress is a piece you'll wear again and again. As for the jeans, before you shake your head, know that the brand's styles are stretchy, with a truly relaxed, comfortable fit—look to the ComfortDenim collection for the most plane-friendly pieces. If jeans are a no-go (fair), try the Go-Stretch pant for a looser waistband."

From July 3 to 5, several of their dresses—including the Halie, Elizabeth, and Tesino—are on sale, with increasing discounts if you buy in bundles; save $15 on one dress and $140 on four."

DO NOT PURCHASE A MYSTERY BOX. It is a HUGE ripoff. They send you awful clothes in hideous colors that did not sell. Nothing, nothing in my “luxe” box was luxe - they sent me a pair of jeans. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I spent $170 and it’s all going to Goodwill. I’m really ticked off and they have lost a customer. One nice thing was all I needed. EDIT: US customer service worked with me after I emailed them about my MB. So, I’m back to loving US, but will never do another mystery box! This rating applies only to their MB.

I had a wonderful experience there. The Retail Experience Manager, Kate was fantastic. She helped me pick out pieces based off my personal style and needs, was very attentive and informative. Wish all my shopping trips were that good! Lol.

Nardina was amazing, helping me find the perfect outfit for the funeral of a loved one. She picked out stuff I never would have thought to try. Highly recommend.

As a plus size person, it is super disappointing that this is appointment only. It is hard enough to find clothes that fit, and when another barrier is added it is really frustrating. I have bought US online and I like their things, and when I got to New York, I was excited that there was a store here. I also really needed some things because I am a traveler and some of my clothes had been ruined on my trip. But nope, I can’t just go shop. Have to make an appointment. Super frustrating, and lost a $$$ sale from me.

I love universal standard. I have spent a pretty sizable amount of money there, some might call it a small fortune. I have always been happy with their customer service and the quality of their clothing. Their mystery boxes are my favorite. I love a surprise. Had the most recent situation not happened, they would always get 5 stars from me. I ordered their most recent mystery Box the minute it was released, A-day or 2 later they released a promotion for the first 200 to purchase a box ( Which I obviously was because I purchased my mystery Box before they ever added the promotion). I contacted customer service and explain the situation and asked to add the code to my order so that I could get the surprise gift, since I was clearly one of the first 200 to order, and they told me they could not add codes once a purchase was made. That seems ridiculous, Especially for such a loyal customer. And I am incredibly disappointed with the outcome of this. I know it seems trivial but It really just feels very unfair.

Ok so I have never had a one on one fitting or stylist appointment before. But now I am spoiled. Jayden was absolutely wonderful. Took the time to go over things and tried on a bunch of different styles. Narrowed down to several things. Cannot wait to get my things soon in the mail. Need to understand that this is not a normal store where you try on and take home same day. Think more like back in the mid century where people would go to the dressmakers and see different designs and have them made. This is modern version of that. The brand has a huge size range and is truly inclusive unlike most brands out there that are really only for straight sizes. In trying on the clothes you can tell this is not "fast" clothing. The quality is exceptionally good for the price point. Jeans in the 120 range (one plus size store I shop at jeans are 80 to 90) so are not much more. Good fabrics like linen and cupro. Nice styles too from casual to more work minded. Definitely glad gave them a try.

US has wonderful customer service, both online and in person in their showroom. They went above and beyond to ensure I had the clothes I purchased after an unfortunate incident. Needless to say I am a customer for life! I love the fabrics and the chic designs. I felt awesome presenting in the Geneva dress and even got compliments about it. Thank you US!

Hello! I came to soho store All the way from Michigan Getting there was, well impossible! A UPS driver showed us delivery entrance We came up 4th floor Not a soul in sight… Very eerie walked thru offices… Never to find an actual store. Lots of racks and clothes, but clearly an office… I visited several times in years past… street level in soho So disappointed Clearly you don’t want in person shopping. My entire wardrobe is US And shopping at store was always an amazing experience 😢 nona walters
