Very informative. This museum will tell the stories behind Heidelberg University. The exhibit also show you the outstanding people from the university how to contribute their thoughts and innovative idea to the world. If you bought a four days pass for local transportation including the visit of the Castle by cable car and Uni museum with the student prison which is has a very interesting story behind.

The museum itself was a bit boring, though I like that they offer free audio guide. The history of student prison was a lot more fun, I wish I would understand German and read what students wrote on the wall.

The museum itself and the big lecture hall were quite uninteresting, even with the free audio tour. However, the student prison was a place worth seeing, and the audio guide told its story in a funny and informative way. A big plus for the working eduroam wifi around here, too!

No explanation in English on the pre-1900history of the University, very rude staff, all jackets have to be left at the entrance, good luck not catching a cold...This museum does a poor job at reflecting the strong heritage of Heidelberg University.

Not really a museum, some rooms to visit in the building and a sort of exhibition. Interesting enough to kill half an hour.
