University at Buffalo (North Campus)

There is actually no parking here whatsoever, I got Here an hour before my class started to park and still ended up being being late by 20 minutes to my class. It just gets frustrating when parking interferes with my education. I pay for classes, but can’t even go to them and learn at the full extent that I want to because I’m too busy worrying about parking and getting to class, half the time it’s just not even worth going to class anymore. The school will be so much better if they just got some parking, they need to make a ramp for something.

Food is fresh and good. Workers are super nice and personable and will help you with any questions you have. The place itself is very relaxing and homie. Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends.

Coming from Orlando Florida I have never finished a bowl of ramen faster in my life. The creamy broth has a very potent chicken flavor so be careful but it’s very good. Lovely staff very attentive. Will always come back!

creamy chicken ramen is to die for, staff is super nice and helpful, the ordering system was neat and staff was always helpful if needed, my boyfriend also throughly enjoyed the spicy tonkatsu ramen. atmosphere is nice and homey with cute anime decorations, will be coming back!!

The sanitation in the dormitory toilets is extremely poor, and the roommates are allocated very unreasonably. The classroom environment is bad, and the network and signal are both very poor. Special students living together with normal students are prone to being harassed, and the dormitory has very poor sound insulation. The food in the cafeteria is so limited in variety and very unappetizing. Sometimes, it's even impossible to get any food. The get app system often crashes. In summary, it is highly not recommended.

Note: I Have Transfered from this Univeristy I attended UB for my freshman year, and found that while it is cheap, there are many problems. The Good: Food, there is alot of options and they are mostly decent. Class selection, as well as Price are also very good. Libaries are really nice and are 24/7, and are very spacious. Lockwood is very very nice before exams. Bad: OVERPOPULATED Classes, almost none of the students feel like they are involved within the univeristy and are there just to get their degree (which isn't a totally bad thing, but outside of classes it feels like there is a whole not of nothing to do). The Ugly: Many of the TA's and Professors seem to be overworked Grad students or professors who have to reasearch and care less about their students then they do, I am sure they are amazing people (and some of they really are) but they are always feel like they are in a rush to get out of class, and I'm sure it not their fault, rather the Univeristys. TLDR: Students seem to only be there for class (and EVERYONE CHEATS so grade inflation is crazy). Professors seem overworked. Dorms, Food, and Libaries are nice.

My daughter will be attending this University in the fall and we just attended UB's Accepted Students Day. The North Campus is Absolutely Gorgeous! The South Campus is beautiful as well but its just a little further away and they do offer buses that shuttle between the two campuses. The dorms are clean, laundry rooms are big, well lit and kept clean as well. The students we've meet seemed well rounded and happy to be there. Great School! Great Staff! My daughter is thrilled and excited to attend! After this visit I know my baby is in good hands attending UB! Let's Go BULLS!!!
