University Inn

A beautiful and fun hotel, in an extremely convenient location, with outstanding service and comfortable rooms. Will definitely stay here again! I should also add that they have free parking and are an extremely short walk to the U-District light-rail station. Finally, there are more fantastic restaurants within a ten minute walk, than you can shake a stick at.

I chose to stay here per a recommendation from my friend. I was very satisfied! We arrived late - about 11:30pm. Check-in was quick and effortless. They gave us 4 complimentary beverages (1 per person) for our stay. It could be alcohol or soda. They have board games that you can check out from the front desk. We did that one evening. Played Sorry in the lobby/hangout area for a couple of hours while enjoying their DELICIOUS pineapple (shaped) cookies. They would put them out every afternoon. They also have pineapple infused water as well as coffee. The rooms were nice and the beds had the comfiest down blankets. So lush and cozy! There was a microwave and fridge as well as a coffee maker. There were 2 sinks (1 right outside the bathroom) which came in handy with four of us in the room. I would absolutely stay at another Staypineapple again. They have them in a handful of cities in the US.

Love this place. So cute and quirky. Everything keeps with the little pineapple theme. Love the pineapple cookies and the charger and the robes and the mugs. Adore the outdoor pool and the lighting. Wish I had some better weather so I could have lounged outside more. Front desk team was great and housekeeping super attentive. Beds are insanely comfortable. Love that they have a comforter for each person, absolute genius. So so so soft and luxurious. They decorated for my birthday because I got the celebration package and it was so cute. They put balloons up and cookies out. The only problem the the whole stay is the Internet kept signing me out, and I had to re-sign in maybe every 20 minutes to half an hour which wasn't a huge deal but a little bit annoying . Would definitely stay at any pineapple resort and will actively look for them!

I attended an event at UW and came here because it's so close to campus (less than a 5 minute walk). The hotel condition is fair - I think a previous reviewer got it right when they said that the hotel is trying to market itself to be better than it is. The staff were really friendly and there are some nice amenities. The hallways felt a bit dated and could use a fresh coat of paint. My room was fine. I didn't care for the European duvets - too small and easy to fall out of the covers. I appreciated the bottle of water. I also used the fitness center at their other hotel a block up the street. For the location, I think the price is fair and I'd stay here again.

This hotel had a lot of positives about it. For instance, the staff here are extremely friendly! We were always greeted whenever we walked by the front desk. One staff member even offered to help me with my suitcase but I declined. When I inquired about the free cookies ahead of their distributing time of 3:30, a manager told me that some cookies are kept behind the front desk and to just ask a worker for some. The workers graciously gave us the cookies. Another positive aspect about the hotel is that they have games for you to borrow. They may not be the greatest games, but it's something to keep the little ones occupied. You're welcome to use them in the lobby, which we did, or take them up to your room. Speaking of the rooms, they are clean upon arrival. Our room had a mini fridge, tub, two robes and of course that cute stuffy on the bed. If you need a microwave, you're welcome to use the large one in the lobby. One day I forgot to put up the door hanger when we left for the day and we returned to a very clean room. My son's stuffy was also placed at the center of the bed just like the dog stuffy. It was very adorable looking. Some negatives are that the walls are pretty thin and you can hear what's going on in the halls and vice versa. Also, our room looked out into the parking lot and I could hear this repeated beep for several hours. Pretty annoying. I also heard what also sounded like a trash truck around 6 am on Thursday morning. I'm a light sleeper so this was not enjoyable for me. Parking is $20 a night, and you must display your pass from the front desk. There is a pool with about 8 chair to sit at. The pool water was a bit cold. The manager said it was 72 degrees, but it seemed colder. There are some small pool toys that are available. The main reason why I give this hotel 2 stars is because the internet was extremely terrible!! We were kicked off so frequently that my young one memorized the steps of how to sign back in 1. Room number 2. Last name 3. Email. I believe we were all kicked off every 20-30 mins. It made researching food places and sightseeing extremely difficult. There was daily resort fee that included free internet, but it wasn't something worth paying for. Vegas hotel this is not. I'll have to do a better job at researching hotels in the future.

What a delightful little place! The beds were so good, and I just love all the cute little touches in the room. Everything in this hotel was so adorable. The only downside is no breakfast, but it is really inexpensive so that makes sense. However, you do get a free drink for each person (including alcohol).

Stay Pineapple was so cute! We stayed at the University Inn location by WSU downtown, it was close to all the attractions Waterfront which was a plus! They have a cute pool outside, provide 4 free beverages/ snacks from their fridge, and adorable pineapple decor throughout. Everyone we encountered was super nice and was always busy. Check in & out was easy, rooms here were a little dated but that didn't effect us as we showered and slept then were gone for remainder set of day on our vacation. Beds were clean and fluffy each had their 2 European comforters on them so that was nice. Mini fridge and plenty of towels and pillows for four. We had 2 queens, mini fridge, TV with local stations a small coffee maker and desk w/ chair. Overall it was a great stay and we had all that we needed. They have the cutest FREE pineapple cookies each night too between 4-7pm in the lobby. We had a few nights of them & they were good. Glitter sugar-yum! Would visit again!

We had a great experience here from the very beginning! We flew into Seattle for a cruise and stayed here overnight. Our flight arrived early and we were worried we would have to tote our luggage around for several hours before being able to check in. We called their front desk, and they told us it was no problem to check in early! Upon check in, we were given vouchers for a complimentary drink (to include alcoholic selections) for each person. They were more than accommodating to assist with anything we needed! Our room was a two queen bed, and everything was so clean and welcoming. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom had pineapple scented soap. The location of this hotel is in walking distance from a lot of restaurants and breweries. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Seattle area. Great room rate compared to other hotels within the area.

So far we have a.reservation for tonight yet the hotels is we have to park a block away . Iam handicap and can not walk that distance we have circled the hotel now 4 times and each person tells us a different locatiion this has been a nightmare truly a night mare !!!!

I chose this hotel because my son was running in a meet at the Uof W Dempsey Center which is really close by. (about a mile) I called to see if my family could check in early and they were very accommodating. My family was very happy with the room. Big room with comfy beds. Friendly staff. Price reasonable. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you

The service was a little goofy (nice but weird people - charming) but all in all the people we had interactions with while here were very accommodating. There were cockroaches in our room. We saw them two different times. See pictures below. We shared these pictures with the very kind and empathetic person at the front desk at check out and all they were able to offer us was to take off the amenities fee which we could have asked to be taken off anyway. The shower head was really bad and we took very unsatisfying showers during our visit. The building across the street had a really loud beeping alarm every time a car was leaving the lot - keep this in mind if you are sensitive to sounds. I know this isn't the fault of the university inn EXCEPT for the fact that the window wasn't properly sealed. We could see a gap in the window to the outside which made it impossible to fully close the window. We had to push a bunch of buttons to update the software on the tv. You're welcome staypineapple. The parking lot lines are drawn too small. Many spaces would have been available if only everyone parked so close that they couldn't get out of their car and slept there. There was only one spot left when we got back from the wedding we travelled for and it was very very hard to get into without damaging my car or any other cars. Good thing no one was coming. Listen this place is trying to market itself to be better than it is. We paid a lot for our budget (around 200 a night) and honestly the least we would expect is a window that closes fully and no cockroaches. Please refund our visit and lower your prices.

The hotel is cute but they charged me an extra $200 at check in this was never listed anywhere online while booking. Spend that money staying somewhere nicer this place is not worth it

Renae and Tyler were incredibly helpful and kind when I made a mistake with booking. They were understanding, patient, and supportive. They turned around what would have been a terrible day and made it a great one! This is why I always come back!

So fun - right around University of Washington, lots of cool amenities including pool (no hot tub), doggie treats in the lobby, and keurig, fridge, robes, hair dryer, and iron in the room with the usual shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion dispensers. No more free breakfast anymore but bed was clean and comfy, nice to have a balcony and lots of usb plugs (no USB-C). $15 per day for parking in their lot, lots of cute pineapple items like the cuddle pillow, cups, toilet paper, although cute stuffed puppy isn't complimentary

once a guest always a pineapple! couldn't help but feel that i was staying at a "swingers" hotel with the amount of pineapple paraphernalia. the whole staypineapple stay was alright! not too bad not too good. they were very accommodating to my daughter (she's a cat) and she loved looking out the window. happy daughter happy father.

We had an excellent experience here. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the sales department was extremely helpful in helping us arrange for a block of rooms, and the location was so convenient when doing anything on or near the University of Washington campus. Will definitely be returning here, be it for personal or professional reasons.

Four stars for the convenience to me on this particular trip. Had a surgery at UW and an early post op appointment the next morning and this place is across the street. I did not get out into the hotel to explore or go to the pool. I did not get to enjoy the "amenities" I paid for with their " amenities fee" either unless you count 2 bottles of water which should be free. They take pets which was a bonus. They also gave us a discount and a free "pup package" for the fur ball plus free parking. This was because we were at UW for a procedure. That was welcomed. The room was clean. Our view was a concrete wall and giant A/C unit but there isn't much to look at on Roosevelt unless you like looking at severely stoned fentanyl addicts having sex on a dirty mattress or shambling around the sidewalks. Drugs are legal in Seattle after all. The parking lot is outdoor and accessible to the above people so don't leave anything in plain sight. If your car does get ransacked good luck getting the cops to come. I needed ice for swelling and they have it at the front desk. There are no ice-makers on the floors. That part was not convenient for me but I made due. There are few options in this area and even with the discount and free parking the bill was north of $225. It is Seattle after all. I would not patronize this place if I wasn't doing something at the medical center though. Seattle is not a place to come to unless you have business. It's rife with lawlessness. The employees were pleasant and professional and mostly on the younger side which makes me think they attend UW. Give it a shot if you need a convenient place in the U District.

Rye is the Guy! provides stellar customer service. Greets with a smile and super kind. Hotel is very clean and amenities were great! will share with everyone. This is such a great stay! Thank you to Rye and the staff!

Comfortable beds, welcoming staff, and dog friendly all of these things were important when we looked for a place to stay for a medical procedure at UW. All of our needs were met and loved our stay.

I stay at this hotel every time I'm back in Seattle. It's in my old stomping grounds of the U-District, and shopping and restaurants are all in walking distance. I also find it pretty affordable too. What keeps me coming back are the beds and the friendly staff. You can stream Netflix on the TVs, and you get a free drink upon check in. Parking can be tight, but it's doable, and the shower heads aren't like the ones at home, but the towels and robes are fluffy and warm. It's a super cute place!

Not as it appears in the photos. No breakfast, (thumbs down) pineapple cupcakes or whatever is advertised. Coffee/tea selection is meh. This is Seattle! The coffee should be local and top notch. The hotel has two buildings evidently. Did not realize that. Make sure you book in the newer wing, because the older part of the hotel needs some attention and the rooms are the size of dorm rooms. We had a balcony that overlooks the pool but the doors are locked so you can't go out there! The decor needs some revamping as well. Very 2008. Zebra print shades? Most amenities were charged as an additional fee. So basically you pay for that extra keurig coffee pod, streaming for movies and a bike to ride around in Seattle traffic. We used 2 Keurig pods and nothing else. Front desk service was 3 stars. Okay but not super accommodating. Friendliness is not something I have experienced in this town. Housekeeping was good and friendly. Parking is available for 20 dollars a day, not secure, no valet. Not very welcoming to folks with wheelchairs, especially in the old wing. All in all, for the price you pay and hidden costs your 98 dollar a night room works out to be $162. My family saids "nope...won't be back"

I'm very impressed with this hotel and highly recommend anyone traveling to stay here. The rooms are clean, the soap/lotion smells amazing, the beds are so comfortable, the bathrobes are adorable, and the location is perfect with there being a number of restaurants and a market just down the street. The front desk staff were also very nice, accommodating and personable as well. I had the pleasure of meeting and being helped by Koda and Alex throughout my time here. As someone who works in hospitality, I take into consideration how well their customer skills are, and they both exceeded well in my eyes. Lastly, I really appreciated being given a "token" to claim a free drink or snack from their tiny store (aka a fridge), not all hotels do that, and it was such a nice gesture. I would definitely stay here again when given the chance.

Service at this hotel was very courteous. I was leading a group of over 40 people on a railroad club tour. it is a limited service hotel, no restaurants or breakfast. They should look at restoring breakfast service in the future, even if just continental breakfast. They do have a small well-stocked mini-mart and is a five-minute walk to the regional light rail line and the bustling University Way business district and University of Washington. The guest room was spacious and well lit. A loose handle on our bathroom door was fixed promptly. The hotel only claims housekeeping every other day although maybe since I was the tour leader for 45 people, I got it every day of our three nights there. The hotel features a nice, big pool with depths up to 8 feet, unusual for a city pool.

University Inn at Seattle U district is phenomenal! No other way to say it. They go above and beyond for their patrons. We have stayed there many times during cancer treatments for my father. They are kind, compassionate, professional and fun. They make reservations, check in, check out and our stay so convenient and efficient. I am able to reserve my room, even when we had a last minute extension, via text messages. They even wrote a sweet card expressing their empathy and caring. They stocked our rooms with water and yummy pineapple cookies. How wonderful that there are still places with amazing customer service. We won't stay anywhere else! Highly highly recommended!

If I could give more then 5 stars this would be the time I'd be doing that, We traveled to Seattle from CA for Seattle Childrens hospital . I was so stressed out the night we flew in but the entire staff has went above and beyond to make sure we are not only comfortable but treated my girls too! Each staff member we've met has been so kind and friendly! It's a hard reason to travel, our days have been so long and you can only imagine how it feels to finally get back to the room at the end of those longs days. Today we got back to our rooms and they had treats for my girls with a hand written note with the cutest drawing. We've been to many hotels but I don't think we've ever had someone be as kind as the staff here and that really says a lot. Enough thanks can't be said so I'll leave this on this last note, highly HIGHLY recommend University Inn! We needed adjoining rooms and they made that happen. I'll edit my review later to add photos!

After a long day of traveling and checking out of a hotel that definitely did not meet our needs (no hot water, toilet broken, etc), we stumbled upon University Inn by Staypineapple. Ryan at the front desk has been so helpful and accommodating, the room was very comfortable, and there was definitely no problem with the hot water or toilet and we felt safe here. 10/10 would stay here again.

The beds are comfy! That's about all I can give them. This place is very overpriced. We paid $400 for a very subpar room. It's completely average, very few amenities despite the $20 amenity fee, no continental breakfast (because of COVID? or because the owners are cheap?) and completely unenthusiastic and unimpressive customer service. They sell it on their website like this is some hipster heaven with all the extras, but in reality it's a Motel 6 with some cookies. This place is no where near worth what they are charging. Disappointed is the word of the day here.

Stay Pineapple--really, do! Loved the pineapple infused water, the quirky suggestive merchandise in the room, gregarious staff, funky window that feels like you are stepping out of the hotel. The comforters were FLUFFY! Breakfast was good. Parking easy. Location is perfect to visit the University nearby. Checkin to get a fun complimentary luggage tag!

Was recently at the StayPineapple University Inn for my daughters wedding and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Every wedding guest who stayed here started with "those beds were amazing." Beyond great night sleeping, the people at the front desk were OUTSTANDING. They were genuinely friendly, helpful in every way and a completely delight. I special shout out to Chad, Alex and Cecil who went above and beyond in every way! And those cookies were a delicious daily treat that my waistline did not need but really enjoyed!

This place is so so cute and everyone at the front desk had great energy! Everyone was so kind and welcoming! They all gave great recommendations and directions as well. There were so many cool little things like complimentary drinks and cookies, a cute little stuffy on the bed, pineapple decor, funny signs, etc! The bedding was AMAZING, best sleep i've ever had. 100/10 recommend, definitely coming back.

This hotel is affiliated with the nearby Watertown Inn. This was helpful as I called the Watertown in for a same day reservation. They had no vacancies but were able to book me at the University Inn. The University Inn is in the college district -- the streets at night are fully of self-absorbed 20 year old kids walking in group, laughing, arguing, goofing off. Lots of very good, cheap restaurants. The hotel itself has a odd floor plan -- a little difficult to navigate. Finding my room was complicated by the fact that the light for the elevator button for my floor -- floor 2 -- was burnt out. The hotel has some weird marketing about being free to be naked in the room. The "Do not Disturb" sign hanging on the door for example says "I'M NAKED (please go away)". This is fine, guess -- except that with that marketing you would think that the hotel would make sure that it is possible to close the window curtains on a second floor room (they did not). But, bottom line, the room was clean, Staff was friendly and helpful. A perfectly adequate hotel.

Decent small hotel, nothing to call home about but nothing to complain about either. Rooms are what you'd expect, clean and functional but not lavish. No exercise area but they have a sister hotel up the street one block that has a very small exercise room (4 cardio machines and a set of dumbbells) that you can use. Continental breakfast (cereal, muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, etc) in the morning. There is an outdoor pool open in the summer. Parking is available but limited. Staff is friendly and helpful. About 1/4 mile walking distance to the nearest edge of the university. U District light rail station also within walking distance (maybe 3/4 of a mile or so?) which runs through downtown and continues to the airport for under $3 if you are flying. Update: I stayed here again, some more things to note. One wing of the hotel is definitely newer/nicer. If you can, get a room on the elevator by the drive through bay: the rooms on that side have better lighting and less "hotel smell". The hotel also has a shuttle that can take you to Westlake center, U district light rail, space Needle, SLU, etc if you make a reservation for.

We are dedicated to the Pineapple Brand. If you are sick of cookie cutter hotels, stay in a Pineapple! The University Inn is one of three in the Seattle area. Priced right in comparison! And fun! This hotel has the best retro vintage vibe, but it's totally clean and modern! Large room! Groovy tub! Big balconies. And a pool that looks like it was in the Brady Bunch's back yard - the coolest! Customer service is always top notch. Greeted with cookies and free beverages! I love this hotel!

Stayed here recently. August 4-7. Won't be back. We've stayed here in the past and it was fine. This time, not so much. We were greeted by a dead rat in the parking lot out front to check in. Mentioned it to the front desk staff, was greeted with a shrug. The room was ok. You cannot open the door to the balcony so no fresh air. We had a wonderful view of the parking lot and the bag of trash on top of the dumpster cover. The AC unit worked so was ok. The room was clean - sort of - if you don't mind the "pill" in the corner.... There is no housekeeping unless you stay over 3 days. The pool was cloudy-no one paying attention to cleanliness out side apparently. Personally would NOT enter a pool that nasty. We had ANOTHER live rat stroll across the sidewalk in front of us coming back from the show we came to see. It was probably looking for it's relative?? We paid a premium for this room-Sea Fair weekend. Kind of feel like I got ripped off with how not good the room and whole stay was. The entire area seems a LOT more seedy than in the past. What's up with that Seattle? If you don't mind vermin and don't give a rip staff, THIS is the place for you! I'm attaching pictures of "Larry" the dead rat who by the way was still there when we left....

Less than expected. A few years ago we stayed at "The Maxwell", which is owned by Pineapple, I assumed that University Inn would carry over a quality facility as well. We were in room 402, the floor has a strong slant to it. We tried to access the outdoor area from our room (we just needed some air flow in the room) door is dead bolted and does not open.... Because the balcony is unsafe to stand on...which then made sense with the slanted floor issue. The employees were very friendly...Sam at the front desk is an asset there! Great customer service! Golden employee. If I stayed in the area again, I would maybe check out their other hotel down the street.

Hands down one of the top 3 ever hotel experiences i have hac. I will definitely stay again next time I'm planning a Seattle trip. We were celebrating a special occasion and the hotel staff personally made a hand written card (colored nicely with crayons!), decorated our room, and provided a fun surprise swag bag of StayPineapple branded items. Even outside the extra special treatment we adored all the pineapple themed branding from the pillows to the plush husky to chocolates. The door hanger signs were absolutely hilarious with the naked pineapple on it. The beds are arranged uniquely to have two European duvets next to each other so you can be nestled in your own cushiony burrito next to your burrito partner. They do have additional bedding for a more traditional hotel bed set up. Other pluses: -Very clean and modern room, better than expected -More affordable than downtown Seattle by a lot They had mattress and box spring covers that looked brand new (and likely prevent any bug issues) -Refrigerator -Excellent free continental breakfast with pineapple muffins. A step up from the usual continental breakfast -Outdoor pool -Free bike rentals -Walkable to Link stop -Very helpful and kind staff

Affordable hotels do exist in Seattle! University Inn, a StayPineapple hotel entity, was a great value for the price. The hotel, not to be confused with the Watertown location down the block (another StayPineapple hotel), albeit small, provided all the amenities I wanted for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, complimentary wifi and breakfast was offered, and there were delectable mini pineapple coconut cupcakes offered mid-afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. They have a parking garage, but do charge for parking. You will need a tag for your car if you opt for parking. There are limited street parking, but they do have a small 30 minute parking for unloading directly in front of hotel.

Hotel was OK. I selected it as it looked like a fun, affordable dog friendly spot. Heads up as the screen "casting" they advertise as an amenity doesn't work. Each day I asked a different front desk person if they how it worked and no one seemed to know. My major issue was the hospitality, only one mildly friendly front desk person. There was one front desk person in particular who cops a major attitude. Apparently if you ask if you can use the snack credit (which is paid by me) on your last day of checkout instead of check in day will result in resentment for the rest of your stay. Seriously, don't ask about your snacks or he will be extremely rude your whole visit. Tossing stuff around, not saying anything when you are checking out, just overall weirdness. Not the right attitude to take for someone in the hospitality industry. Pros: The housekeeping staff was super friendly and kind. A smile can go a long way! It's that easy!

The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. The bed is super comfy with cloud-like pillows and duvet. The towels are big and fluffy and there's a fun robe. Yummy snacks and drinks are available. Location is great and easily walkable. Despite all these amazing amenities, the best part of our stay was the fantastic staff, especially Sam. He is the definition of above and beyond. If you want to learn about stellar customer service, take a chapter from Sam! Thank you for making our stay even more pleasant.

I had a really good stay here. All of the staff were very accommodating. They had umbrellas for me to borrow and a free continental breakfast complete with oatmeal, cereal, hard boiled eggs, muffins, fruit, bagels, etc. (My colleagues stayed at the sister location and did not have a free breakfast.) There was one slight issue when I thought my room door wasn't opening, but it turned out I just didn't push it hard enough. And when I mentioned that the cars on the street were noisier than I expected (I was put on the second floor on the street side), I was offered a different room by the man helping me (I think he was a manager named Tommy; he even remembered my name through the rest of the stay), but I declined since I was already half way through a two night stay. I did not get a chance to try the small pool, but I was told it was heated and I saw a small family using it. There is no gym at this hotel. You can use the sister hotel's gym which I think just has a few cardio machines. A good option when it's raining though and running outside isn't an option. My room was very clean and everything worked well. A/c was a little loud for me when it would turn on once in a while at night because I'm a light sleeper, but I guess you could just turn it off. Location is just four or five blocks from the University area that has a lot of restaurant options. Overall it was sort of a 4.5 star stay, but when customer service is good, I round up.

I really loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice and bed very comfortable. There was a free breakfast, wifi and shuttel bus(driver was super nice). I borrowed a cute yellow bike and helmet from them. It was no hand break!! But it free! I loved the service here!!

I was looking for a reasonably priced, clean room for one night close to my daughters house. The hotel, as described is cute, eclectic and clean. However, it is not clear when booking that there is. $20 "amenity fee" and an additional $15 parking fee--which would be fine for a resort type hotel but this is a basic inn. Many channels on the TV were inaccessible. Free water and coffee did not seem worthy of a $20 resort fee of which $10 is your food credit. I had to buy random snacks upon checkout to use my credit. The room was cute and clean but very basic. The queen bed felt like a double with two twin sized duvet covers and no top sheet which was also strange to me.

The hotel is safe but it's a war zone around this place. Crack heads and trash everywhere. No nice restaurants. And I would be embarrassed to have a kid going to U Dub. What a dump. Truly amazing to see what Seattle has become won't be back anytime soon. But stay pineapple continues to be a great value as far as a hotel goes. I paid $380.00 for a queen bed handicapped romm, plus $25.00 to Park!But this was a great price gee wiz!

First, the good things. The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice, but nothing fancy. The staff is courteous, and everything seemed to work okay. Now, the bad. The hotel details on their website are deceiving, border line false advertising. We booked a pet package, and come to find out there's no place for our dog to relieve himself!! The clerk said there's an empty lot across the street (not their property) that's full of trash and broken glass. Or a little tiny patch of dirt in the parking lot. The only thing pet friendly about this place is they allow pets in the room. Secondly, the place share's a parking lot with the cafe next door. You pay $20 a day for parking, but it's free for the cafe. Needless to say, you can't find a parking spot (or street parking) when the cafe is opened. Thirdly, we spent 4 nights there, and the rooms didn't get cleaned once!! We had to go find the housekeepers to get clean towels. I talked with a manager about these concerns, and he said these are all things to keep the costs down. Maybe for them, but not for the customer. Our average daily cost was $251, not exactly low cost at all. We'll never stay there again!

You simply cannot charge three hundred bucks a night and not offer in-house food service, provide rooms with no comfortable reading chairs, neglect to clean the room while you are out all day and yet call yourself a class hotel. The staff is the one saving grace of this place, for they are polite and helpful. The "pineapple" motif is forced and lame and adds nothing to the overnight experience. I will not stay here again.

Visiting Seattle from California we had never stayed at a Stay Pineapple Property. The online presence looked great. Once on property the brand was consistant in the lobby, and common areas. But in our room I was disappointed. The rooms did not look to be updated per the online branding, especially since we were being charged $300+ per night for a deluxe room. The bathroom was tiny and bare bones basic. Old fixtures and a shallow tub with cheapy curtain. I'd say it was on-par with the LaQuinta Inn we had paid half the price for. The room's carpet, lighting and furnishings looked like they had not been updated in 10 years...in comparison to the chic StayPineapple commercials playing on the hotel's own TV channel of fresh carpet, slick gray curtains, fresh white subway tiled bathroom, wood floors and modern furniture. I know not all properties are the exact same but like stated before, with the exception of the nice pillows and duvets, the interior design of the rooms where not "boutique" at all. The pineapple logo on everything can only get you so far. Though the afternoon cupcake idea is sweet, We were too busy sight seeing to be at our hotel during that time range so we missed that part of the amenities that you are charged $19.95 extra per day for. Also the pool was not heated, even though it is Seattle and an outdoor pool. Kids didnt really enjoy it as much as I would have liked. The breakfast we also felt was lacking. Far less value than the other chain hotels weve stayed at. There was no "hot food" so, shy of yogurt and hard boiled eggs you could only carb load with cereal, oatmeal, apples and pastries. Not impressed with quality, (Not even fresh pineapple for breakfast) We've enjoyed better breakfast options at lesser priced hotels. *Two pluses: One, the location is nice to be out of the fray of downtown Seattle but still an easy drive to the sight seeing area. And Two, parking was only $15 per night compared to many that were $40+. We understand that the price per night is expected to be higher in a bigger city like Seattle.That said, and I dont know how much control the hotel has over this or not but the fees added to the night stay when all was said and done where another 25% on top of the "room charge". That stunk and left a bad taste in our mouths for staying at boutique hotels.

This hotel is clean, well appointed and very dog friendly. Pets get toys, doggie bags, treats, water bowl and lots of petting when checking in. Ricardo, in particular, was exceptional. He could not have done more.

We were visiting the University of Washington and booked this hotel due to its proximity to the campus. We had a great stay. Room was quiet and clean. There were lovely European style duvets on the beds. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. You are able to park at the hotel for an additional fee. The staff was very courteous and helpful. A special shoutout to Cota at the front desk for her efforts in retrieving my AirPods. I had left them behind in the hotel and she personally searched the room to locate them and arranged to have them shipped back to me. We would definitely stay again.

Loved loved loved this hotel! The staff are so friendly, personable and professional! They're always smiling! The rooms are bright and welcoming! The beds are comfy! The bedding is awesome! And they have robes and slippers!! The mini pineapple cupcakes are a fun perk! Location is fantastic, it was easy to get to all the attractions we wanted to see! This place has it all! Can't wait to stay here again!
