UNL Dairy Store

I like Dairy Store's ice cream, particularly its corn flavored scoop. 🌽 I liked it in Korea but never had it in the U.S. and was excited to see it here. We tried strawberry and peach, and they were both delicious. 🍓 🍑 You can also walk around East Campus after!

There is only one flavor of ice-cream I would eat at The Dairy Store and that is sweet corn! It is a seasonal flavor, so I made sure to snag a scoop this summer. 🌽 While they have a wide variety of ice-cream flavors, I don't quite like the texture of their ice-cream as it is not as creamy as ones I've had elsewhere. I do like the cheeses that they carry!

If you have a craving for ice cream, make sure to stop here. On UNL East campus, but open to the public.

I really wanted to try sweet corn ice cream and my wife wanted butter brickle, as both flavors were created in Nebraska and hard to find elsewhere. All the other creameries in Lincoln weren’t going to be closed when we drove through at 10am. But this one was open, and I’m so glad, because it was some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had!

I’ll always like the dairy store. I hadn’t been there in a couple of years as we almost always go to 402 now for ice cream. The flavors are always really good. It’s a little icier than I remembered, but still great and rather have it over most store bought.

Although the ice cream was good, it was not as creamy as I would've liked. Plus, many products were out-of-stock at the store. I had the creamy corn and the caramel cashew flavors.

Feels like the most overrated (on Google maps) place in Lincoln 🙈 Why 4.7 people, where did it come from? Mocha Madness flavor is nothing about coffee (maybe a little bit like creme brulee flavor), Walnut smells strange and cookie dough is pretty flavorless comparing to what you usually get in other places. Location (it says it is 'new location, do not know whether it is permanent or temporary) is not cute either.

A must-to go-to experience for anyone visiting the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and some of the best ice cream in the area! Beware of what cup-size of ice cream you get, 'cause you will get double of what you order (nice!). The products that you will find at the UNL Dairy Store are made at the University itself - most, if not all, in the same building... and during regular hours, you can even see some of these items being made! You won't only find ice cream here also - you can also find cheese, cookies, milk, milkshakes, drinks - many/most things dairy. It's a real cool place on a hot summer's day, so I highly recommend the Dairy Store with their custom flavors - you won't regret it!
